I bought one of these (exact same model) on Prime Day a few days ago for $65. It should be here today. I have had a $900 BenQ 1080P projector for gaming which was 3000lumens, so I am not expecting this mini projector to do too much, but it will be cool to have! Thanks for the review.
It does quite the job for the price.
I just got this to project D&D battle maps on a table and it’s perfect! Thanks for the review!
You’re welcome.
Literally just bought it for the same reason.
Interesting review. Being a Chinese projector, is it truly a 1080p and not just supported? 10000 lumens seems like another tactic to over estimate the specs.
How's it holding up at this point? No burn spots?
i have the right HDMI cord but once i connect it to my phone, this light turquoise screen pops up with a QR code. i can’t mirror somehow and need a solution so i can start watching stuff! got any ideas?
You might need to download an app for it?
I have a Samsung phone. I had this problem as well. Samsung has DeX I stalled, which helps with mirroring with other devices. Not this projector though. I turned DeX off and then it worked.
I tried using the original wire C USB provided with my Samsung galaxy A32 phone but it didn't work. I tried with a C hub adapter but that doesn't work either. Do you know how to share the screen?
Some Samsung phones have DeX installed. Find that in your installed functions and turn it off.
@@CarterBechtol Thanks for the information but Samsung Dex is only available for S series devices and my phone is an A series.
This thing doesn't mention that video files on USB need to be 30 fps or less. Instead of showing a clue like "invalid frame rate", it just shows "unsupported file"...
thank you for this - this little piece of garbage technology has been driving me crazy - my files are mp4 taken on my iPhone - but they are not supported - also trying to use a usb device with this projector is a challenge - one thumb drive of mine works - a dozen do not and no external drives have been recognized ny it.
Great projector but im getting audio lag. Anyone know how to fix that? I've tried bluetooth and cable speaker - no difference (im using screen share from iPhone to watch YT videos on the big projection).
can i just use phone mirroring and have my phone bluetoothed to a speaker?
How is it with text display? Can you easily read fine document text (black on white and white on black) without straining your eyes?
How dark the room needs to be?
you can actually control the brightness in the settings, and you can still see the projection okay while the light is on. there is a slider on the top where you can adjust the blurryness depending on how close the projector is to the wall
Yo I can’t get it to work on my iPhone I have the hdmi cord with phone connection but it comes up no signal
On something like that you may need to have Apple certified cables.
@@DIYReid yeah didnt work with my apple cables either
Could I use with bluetooth headphones?
It does not have Bluetooth. You can buy a Bluetooth adapter for it though. Which is what I use for it.
Are you able to connect your iPhone or android to this projector??
Yes
You never talked about the power source for this unit. ??
Like how it gets powered? You plug it into the wall.
Does it support Bluetooth? If not, how would you hook it up to a modern iPhone which doesn’t have a jack-input?
HDMI to C/LIGHTENING cable
Wifi connectivity?
How to I connect to my I phone
Can I watch Netflix on this connected from my phone?
Yes
That would be much better than the work projector that I’ve had for about a decade!!
Does it support google Chromecast?
Yes
No Bluetooth is a deal breaker
True
Thank you x
Update: i got one without Bluetooth. They are intended to be used with an Amazon Firestick or similar device which outputs to BT speaker
Hows the fan noise?
I need to start doing metering with a sound meter on these videos. It’s not too bad.
No not Bluetooth?
My projector just turned into a bunch of pixels after installing firmware on the app given in the QR code. Scam company, product never even worked properly to begin with.
Did you return it
@@DIYReid it was too late when I installed the firmware so now I just have a useless projector
How is it too late?
@@DIYReid I got it over a month ago
Did they decline it?
