Nice! I mean...it's nice when you watch it sitting in your chair with a cold drink in your hand😂.... I own a 2004 Cayenne with air suspension and even when the car is shut I can hear the leveling system doing it's job - air hissing noises from the airbags probably compensating for the floor. At the beginning of the video I was convinced that the POS rover had a problem with the air suspension, maybe a broken air tube or something. Then I saw it had coil springs so it became more interesting. You went on the right track with your diagnostic! Good job! Keep them coming!
@@PhillipBailey thats really impressive! I find that finding information from service data to be very time consuming...8m glas we don't have many oddball vehicles like that out our way
Hey Phillip The scan module adds the newer protocols for communication. DOIP, can fd flex ray…ect. That landrover has doip. And the scanner actually communicates via Ethernet to the gateway/bcm and from there the gateway does it thing to route messages. If you get into much later model euro then to use your snap on scanner that s7 scan module will be needed.
A range rover....your either the bravest man or you've been sniffing brake cleaner too long. Those things can break just sitting still. Even the sensors have sensors. Last one I worked on the ride leveling system was so over engineered it was a disaster. Took me 3 days to find and fix 2 broken wires.
Great Job! Test drive, knowledge, research and visual inspection and taking apart layers of stuff for the win!

Once again you amaze me Phil....how many hours were required for that vehicle?

I've been using Snap-on scanners since the MT2500 red brick but I think this Verus is my last one...
The engineers have stock in the connector manufacturer 😁

@@scotthill1278 lol "even the sensors have sensors" that's good, I'm going to use that line!
I’m shocked that people still want British vehicles. We’ve only known for what, 35 years, that they suck?
