Legendary series, as well as Top Ten Normies reaction shows for me personally. HUGE shout out to Dustin for editing this big boy so incredibly the entire time. It’ll be bitter sweet going into the final movies, but at least I can’t wait to rewatch them with you guys, too.
Two constants for reactions to this episode: no one will get the snake and cat news story, and no one will remember Akane and Alisa.

i really really hope they're doing the aot route. Just like how they made a trailer showing scenes that weren't even in that season part, like how they said FINAL SEASON but cut it into parts so its basically still counts as a season.. I really hope haikyuu is doing that too cause how tf could they fit 110 chapters into those movies??
I hope that what they mean with the FINAL is that they're showing the FINAL moments of the spring tournament matches. and also to be kinda honest, the announcement they made is pretty vague wording-wise. I remember my fellow japanese fans putting up posts about how they worded the announcement weird. Also, we have little information. I really hope there's some kind of twist in this or idk... we'll see. :'')

honestly, they are watching this like a regular shonen, but haikyu is diferent, the amount of character development we get from traning arcs, strugle moments and payoffs during matches that link together all that happened, most of the little details they just did not catch it. Like Tsukki saying the hinata had "that" moment, referring to the moment Bokuto mentioned he got hooked on voleyball, and tsukki had the same moment against shiratorizawa, and hinata had his own moment that made him even more hooked. Or the "take it easy" reference from the hyakuzawa interaction from the first years' training camp. They just don't pay that much attention really.
These guys missed about 50% of the important scenes, but I still watched their reactions because I like Haikyuu that much :(
One of them even said "I'm done with learning, I just want to watch the battles"... welp... the main lesson of the series just *whooshed* over their heads

Snake jealous of a cat: The news report was, as best as I understood, referring to the conversation that happened prior. The 2 characters we had followed during the match for learning purposes was Nohebi’s Captain and his date which we first meet during the Nekoma ova’s of Land vs Air. Hebi translates to Snake in Japanese, and having lost to Nekoma would definitely paint him jealous that they couldn’t compete in the tournament. Therefore the Snake is definitely jealous of a Cat.
The last scene was both supporters bumped each other. The girls were Tora's lil sister n Lev's big sister..

guys, the Inter high is like March Madness, each team will have a game everyday and son the 3rd day 2 games., with this win against Inarizaki its like they just qualified for the Sweet 16 and needs to defeat 4 more to win the whole tournament. If they win against Nekoma, they'll be part of the "Elite 8" and battle in the quarter finals

It's the Spring High. The Inter High was the tournament they lost in S1 (and which Shiratorizawa got to qualify to its nationals).

Haikyuu has actually made me play volleyball and fall in love with the sport some real Slam Dunk energy in this one absolutely legendary modern sports anime!!! ❤️

It’s truly a shame how Haikyuu’s anime adaptation was treated during and after COVID. Part 2 of season 4 was mostly outsourced as well as subpar and now they’re going to adapt all that’s left over movies which means tons of content cut. No idea why they decided to make so many bad decisions regarding the best & most popular sports anime out there.
Such a shame because the next couple of matches are what I would consider the best in the entire series next to karasuno Vs shiratorizawa

Ok, I know we all understand that S4P2 is definitely the weakest season of Haikyu, but not to a lying degree. S4P2 wasn't mostly outsourced. Only two episodes in particular were outsourced. The rest were mostly from the staff like in every season before. S4P2 faced A LOT of production problems that previous seasons didn't, but idk where you got that the whole season was mostly outsourced when it's absolutely incorrect.
The way the second half of the episode was recorded, I don't know if it was in case they could qualify for another series, a tribute to the manga fans or they just like making an ending that makes us wonder, but it's sad to see it end. What a great series though!

Now that I have more time to think about I think they are doing the 2 movies for the Karasuno vs Nekoma then going back to seasonal with the show.
It's been obvious they really care for the Trashcan Showdown so I think are upgrading to a movie budget just for the battle. My prediction: first movie is building up Nekoma then ending with epic cliffhanger after first round, then second movie epic rallies with tear jerking character development on both sides sprinkled with foreshadowing and character reveals of other teams then the deciding victor with breather. After that back to the show.
This is someone who has not read the manga and jump ropes between English and Sub. I know there is a lot more content after the showdown. This is also a valued top budget show with solid talent so I don't think they will end it anytime soon till they milk everything out of the manga, unless something tragic has happened to the creators. No story spoilers please.
Theyve said theyre doing two movies to wrap everything up and were gonna get screwed on content somewhere. Theres LOTS of good stuff still coming and we might just miss everything cuz they want to jump on the hype of anime movies

Those guys really did NOT catch even 50% of HOW haikyuu is good. I feel like they are those people that just want to watch battle animes like dragonball and thats it, so many important moment, not onyl in this episode, but the entire season, and they were like just... nothing. They really should watch the show again if they REALLY want to take in everything.
There is another awesome teamwork anime present which can thrill u as much as Haikyuu, named "Yowamuahi no Pedal". A must watch. Try doing reaction for this one next. U will thank me later 🥰🥰
