i think its actually more impressive that they beat Inarizaki rather than Shiratorizawa because while we know Shiratorizawa was strong, Inarizaki was the runner up in the last inter-high to which Shiratorizawa went to and mustve lost to some big team, probably either Inarizaki or Itachiyama

Up until this point, Karasuno has not taken a set off of Nekoma. They often start to get really closer, at around 22-23 points, but every time Nekoma just beats them out.

Kita addressing Inarizaki honestly made me tear up. The VActing was so superb. So full of emotion- Nojima did such a good job of making Kita sound emotionl in a way that only suits Kita lol.
And the way Atsumu’s voice shook when he answered...Miyano Mamoru doing the most as usual!

I guess the reason the twins said "brag about us to your grandkids" is because they hoped they had made Kita proud enough to remember them even when he is old, and when looking back on life, he remembers these years as some of the best of his life

This made me remember when I was 14 and I was playing in an international youth soccer tournament called Gothia cup, in Gothenburg, Sweden. It’s a pretty big deal, the biggest of its kind in the world. Something like 20k players in total, and just my category had 198 teams from all over the world. In the 8ths we faced a team from Angola who were sponsored by the main sponsor of the tournament, SKF. I still can’t believe those guys were 14, they were all fucking huge. Long story short, we managed a heroic performance and beat them 2 x 0. When the final whistle came, I didn’t know how to react, if I should cry, scream, cheer or just lay down on the ground from pure exhaustion. It was one of the most rewarding moments of my life and seeing this really takes me back. That’s why sports are so beautiful, when you achieve one of these moments, the feeling is just indescribable, and I think haikyuu really manages to capture that. This game was actually the second from a total of 3 that day. Our final game, in the quarter finals, was against a French team which was even better than the last one. We were knackered and ended up losing 1 x 0. We ended up in 9th place, which was not only pretty good, but the best placement for a team from our country, which made us official representatives in the following year. Never got to go back there despite many opportunities, but that really was a one of a kind experience.

I love the way „imagination“ plays at the end of the episode. I did listen to it non-stop while reading the final chapter of the manga too, I kinda hope it plays again then if it ever gets animated. The one to start it all be the one to end it all kinda style

Fukurodani ain't no joke. Team gave Karasuno hell during their practice matches, even when Bokuto was having a poor performance. When he's on his game, they might very well just be the most dangerous team for Karasuno

First off, that block by Hinata and Kageyama is legendary. So satisfying to see they learned from their first loss to Seijou.
Secondly, I love how quickly Hinata draws people in, inspires and befriends people. This dude has no enemies. He inspired Atsumu and got him calling him by his first name and they havent had a full conversation, just battled it out with volleyball. Same thing happened in the training camp Hinata snuck into. Guys were calling him Shouyou there too. He may be informal and down for people to call him by his name, but other people being drawn to him so quickly is incredible.
