    Thank you for watching this clip from my lectin lecture. I am posting these podcast mini-clips weekly - to bring attention to the health topics that are SO important, that they’re simply worth repeating. Are there any health topics that you would like to hear more about in future episodes? Let me know in the comments!

    So I am 60, an A+ and have never had any health issues.
    My question is this, I eat mostly red meat ( I raise my own) and I only like cabbage, celery, and onions. Are people naturally drawn to the foods that they are designed to eat?

    great info. Dr Gundry. I have your books and apparently you already know that farmers are liberally spraying Roundup on nearly ALL crops, even if not needed. it allows them to speed up the harvesting process but fills ALL our veggies/grains with poisons that stay in the food. Have gone Keto to nearly Carnivore per Dr. Shawn Baker and feel much better , especially my digestive and arthritis problems. thank you!

    I have done the blood type diet (I'm B positive and very allergic to dairy so that didn't work), I've done the raw foods diet (this was great for me actually but I can't stick with it more than 18 months- done in 3 different times in my life. Although there are a lot of fruits and seeds which are forbidden in your diet, it naturally cuts out some major offenders like wheat dairy and most beans and grains.) and now I am following your plan! I just saw you on Morning Joe last month and bought your new book and your cookbook. Thanks Dr. Gundry, I already feel much better. First thing I noticed was a big reduction in my hunger. My main addiction was sugar both in fruit and in junk/treats. My husband is doing this diet too and he has remarkable increased energy, I can't get him to slow down now!
    I wonder how much backlash and pressure you receive among the medical community?

    I believe in the blood type diet. I did an easy self test, n=1. I made a list of foods I just don’t care for...bananas, on and on. Sure enough, the foods I didn’t like were not recommended on the blood type diet - it was a match! The thing hardest for me on the plant paradox, besides no beans/pasta fagioli!, is not eating oatmeal! I’m in hotels frequently and often chose oatmeal, and I like peanut butter toast and that’s out...it’s not easy,

    I’m A+ and I’ve followed the Blood Type diet for years and avoided the foods on the don’t eat list because I just feel better when I do.
    I’m also sugar free, grain free, and i avoid any/every food that is attached to inflammation and I still have fibromyalgia pain and ibs. I also had a positive ANA that is now negative.
    I have every book on healthy healing and autoimmune diets. I avoid every food attached to glysophate and I’m still not healthy.

    I stopped eating bread about a year ago and now when I ate some last week I noticed a burning sensation on my lips which indicates a sensitivity to wheat. I'm wondering if it's because I stopped eating wheat for a year that my microbiome changed to where I am sensitive. If I keep eating wheat will I build up my microbiome again to where I can eat it without any negative affects or should I just plan on avoiding wheat?

    • @jackdaniels403
      @jackdaniels403 5 лет назад

      Not a Dr. but from what Ive researched it can go either way. There are people who have cut out bread for years and gradually reintroduced with moderate success. Every one Ive read still felt bloated afterwords tho. I feel "yeasty" as I call it. Where my whole body is "bloated" but no abdominal swelling, more like my whole body got stung by a really tiny bee. Its not bad if I eat clean for 3/4 of my meals. Just my anecdotes, hope you get to your goal!

    Dr. Gundry my name is David M and I have been on your plant paradox diet for four months it’s been amazing for me I didnt even know I was overweight until I lost 44 pounds I got down to 176. My question is for my wife who struggles with a lot of joint pain she’s on the diet with me but I’m always curious about when I’m shopping I see gluten-free breads and gluten-free pancake mix which I know is not good enough for us but what’s the difference in how does it affect what we’re doing? And do you have any suggestions for what to do her feet and knees and hands are in so much pain I was really hoping this diet would help.
