Taking a look at the new Intel ARC A750 Limited Edition graphics card and seeing what 1080p high / ultra gaming settings are like and what improvements have been made to the drivers and software.
We have paired this mid tier GPU with a mid range platform of the Intel B660 chipset motherboard and the budget minded Intel i5 12400F to make this a system you can build for around £500.

At the price of some of these ARC GPUs I wouldnt blame people for being tempted over. Good to see another supplier to mix things up with AMD and nVidia, hope it leads to some price decreases !

Hey gang...just bought an Intel Arc A770 Limited Edition 16GB for $405.00 US off Amazon for a future build. Team green is dead to me. Their cards cost way too much. I've been supporting nVidia going on for the last 20+ years. Will only look at Intel or Radeon GPU's in the future. Great review as always Mike and Lady Kath. Take care everyone. Cheers

Never thought about longevity of a manufacturer just assumed great to have more competition vs nvidia. Great simplistic looking card & now performs as it should by all accounts. Might be a good choice when updating d'ters Msi Rx570 🤔 Thanks for reviewing Mike and Kath 🐈👍

it has pros and cons but mostly overall it is a decent choice, but the pricing needs to still drop a little for the momentum to pick up again after the initial rush
I bought the Arc A770 (16GB) LE from Ebuyer on the day they released back in October of 2022 and within a day of installing it, I put it back in it's box and only reinstalled it during the now previous BETA driver that has since gone to a stable WHQL release. Couldn't be happier now, except since then, it's gone down to 350 POUNDS from the original 400 I bought it for brand new. Sure, there's still kinks here and there, but with the performance you get... Little to complain about. More than happy to beta test as long as the worst issue is resolved, which for me, was the constant audio crackling. Screw NVIDIA for taking a sh!t on us lifelong team green fans.

Got mine during a flash sale around Christmas when my local retailer was trying to get them of the shelves. Got a 16GB ARC A770 for 300 USD. Thats a great deal.

Just upgraded my a 750 to the asrock a770 8gb. Arc does well in comparison at 1440p at current prices they're a good option.
Colour wise I did notice when I went from a arc gpu to an ngreedia one in FF14 had to switch back to arc the nvidia one just seemed "off" to me after using Arc.

Get an AIB card if you're considering an Arc 750, the Intel version is basically impossible to maintain (they're glued together, which makes cleaning, re-applying thermal paste a potentially card destroying proceedure).

The reason why nVidea GPU's don't have color depth is that their drivers are installed with the depth set on limited (most used for TV's). You can change it in the control panel -> Change Resolution -> 3. Standard color settings or nVidea color settings -> Dynamic range output -> set that on "full"

I admit I quite like the Arc GPU aesthetic 🥰💪🤩. Intel have done well imo with the rapid succession of improved drivers making many titles more than playable ….. in addition, generally performing better with Ray tracing than AMDs 6000 lineup 🤯🥳

Intel just needs to make it with screws next time. Hot glued stuff is just hard to work with. However they nailed the design of there Limited Edition cards, espically the A770.

Honestly, for the price, it feels like a no brainer over ever supporting Nvidia again. They have made clear as the pass $Trillion, that they don't give a shit about quality, price, customers, service, or lifespan anymore.
It always makes me laugh when people say things like "nvidia are the best" when they're all made by TSMC in Taiwan, i can remember a time when highly skilled programmers made awesome games with as little as 50kb of memory available too them.
I wonder if the cpu i got (i7 11700) with uhd 750. is like the A750 🤔
did not buy a arc. because i got alot of old games i like to play on pc.
and many did tell the arc is very bad for older direct x.

that a580 or what the hell it was going to be called looked actually better then the a750. but it got never made probably not even a prototype.
If you don't mind some stuttering and a performance range generally between an RX 480 and an RX 5600XT or between a GTX 1050ti and a GTX 1660, then you will not be disappointed with the Intel ARC Alchemist line up. If you expect performance above a GTX 2060, RX 5600XT, or anywhere close to an RTX 3060 12 GB, then you will not like the Intel video card. Anywhere below 250 dollars for either the A750 or A770 will be a decent price for the performance you get. Intel cards lower than the A750 should only be recommended below the 150 dollar range, because their performance isn't consistent enough to be compared to the GTX 1050ti or GTX 1650, while the older RX 470 and RX 570 cards are significantly better than the Intel A380.
latest driver resolve pretty much all of that, to me it is a very good experience for the money
