Only issue with second method is a competent player will use their two mgs to shoot through the smoke and tag you. War thunder’s tag system is a bit buggered but it is good enough for that (mostly).

Sometimes I use third method:just wait them walk out with them showing their side armor and ignore you
or if its a tiger 2 p, turret cheek

The problem is not them…it’s their teammates after you shot the tigers barrel that comes the horde basically

Works 1/3 of the times cause, usually once u shoot the barrel that 10-15 seconds that it takes to reach the side of the tank, are more than enough for a close enemy to see u and kill u before u kill him (in this case the tiger, u shot the barrel).

This has nothing to do with the Tiger II, or you would have said to shoot the turret cheeks. These methods work on literally any tank
destroying the barrel needs A REALLY high skill
No because the muzzlebreak on German tanks counts as barrel so Americans have a bigger target that will definetly break the gun
That's why it rarely works the other way around(with pz4) . Jumbo has the small gun so you either have to have alot of luck or you have to go to the MG port to kill the turret

Step one: Tiger II never shows up due to it being broke down already
Step two: profit
Step one use kv-2
Step two shoot
Maybe I am noob but many times Tiger 2 simply kill me trought the armor of Sherman.
You need to angle it sideways but not reveal your side, often will only work on tiger 1's, I learnt from playing the A.C 4, a bit easier to reveal side but faster reverse with similar frontal armour to some Sherman variants(about 50.8mm though well angled)

@@Anger4141 I am probably bad at wt too, but if they are shooting tracks when you peak then deploy smoke if you can and if only one track is killed you can still turn.
Run MG though smoke, moment you get hit notification. Shot main cannon.

I use the fourth method. shoot them in the right side of the turret face which will go right through if you can aim

Well, when a Tiger is with your gun broke, i aim for the gunner sight (a small black point on the turret, it can easly penetrated, and if you have one more powerfull gun you can get the ammo on the back of the turret
Yeah forget that the 2P has an easily pennable mantlet, 100mm of mantlet armour is more than enough for 75mm to go through easily.
76 mm long barreled? Yeah
75 mm short barreled? No

When i played against america, between cannon reload intervals, i kept swinging the cannon from side to side, so the shermans didn't hit my cannon.
The sherman hit 1 atom in the air and my gun broken
they have stabilizers, if they are competent they wont miss

If you are using shooting the barrel tactic you are perfectly noob
The important part is not the method, but who gets the right shot first. Its the same other way around if the tiger II shoot first then Sherman would had been dead too. There is no real "Easy" way to do something, all experience.

There is a third method but its mot very reliable, shoot the hatch on the roof, its a small target to hit and pen but it works
Forth method: Shoot at the machinegun cheek on the Tiger ll (P) thats i deal with them all the time
Why flank when cupola shot blows up ammo. Managed a kill that way out of fear and panic against tiger 2h that was in my face with both of us tracked.
Another one for germans to kill rank 3 American medium and heavy tanks? Idk what it is, but they don't even need to angle to deflect everything.

Jumbo 76 gets deleted anywhere by Tiger 2 while needing to aim for weak spots or flank to kill it. You might as well play an M4A3E8.

i mean you have to kill it from side if its tiger 2 H...u can still pen tiger 2 P frontal turret with 76 mm.
it works against complete idiots. And do not forget that Tiger 2 pierces Sherman anywhere.

How did you break his barrel?
When I shoot at a Sherman barrel it bounces off 95% of the time with no damage done
german barrels are easier to break because they have muzzle breaks and are bigger

Shoot gun, mg the tracks then shoot the sides
If it's not a 1 v 1, this doesn't work but it's almost always an assist so there's that

Granted I can just about kill anyone on 1 on 1 as most player prioritizing a 1 shot 1 kill
And with the Sherman's near universal design, most will just shoot my armor and get their gun blasted in return

Ah.. ah.. but I been first time use the jumbo M4A3E2 no 76. also those two Tiger P/H try kill me after miss and I shot his barrel after track. I killed them easy tho… this is me first time and I beat them. |:D
It's a tiger ii P, it got penned by its face anyway. No trick, no struggle, a shell to the 100mm pathetic face.
That's why I almost never use tiger ii p. Even gaijin kik ferdi to 6.7, you still have jpz, JagdPanther, m41, pantherA/G/F, AA and planes to use
now to spend more than one shell on the enemy (the Germans will understand))

now how do i kill a kv1 with a sherman?
1- Shoot driver's port right in the middle of the tank
2- shot the turret flat surfaces (if it's an S shoot at the flattest part of the turret near the cannon)
3- LFP i think can get penned if you are around 100m or closer to him
