I grew up on the mid north coast of NSW in a place called Forster, across the Bridge there was Tuncurry, at the breakwall on Tuncurry side it used to get just like this, watching this it reminded me a lot of the days and years I spent surfing that break.

Straddie just amazes me. It can be so crap on the other side of the seaway, but going off at Straddie, and they are just a few hundred metres apart. Also the amount of jetskis parked out the back is something you don't see at any other break.

Amazing ...but I surfed on Broadbeach on the same day and scored 3ft a frame peaks only 2 people every 100 mtrs ...not as good as straddie but still amazing without the crowd
