Unfortunately it's been dominated by clients issues and gamebreaking bug, that still isn't fixed.

This is a genius solution to the communication restrictions.
If Karthus can ult every 30 seconds you never need to ping him to ult because he presses it on cooldown.
Truly a step forward in furthering League of Don't Talk Or Get Banned.
Im so glad that im playing on the russian server where we consider players as toxic ones only if they chatreport others, and slur each other every match like in CoD BO2

thought riot wanted to take power out of items a little to put it back into the champ, but instead mages get like 30 different items full of passives that say "do more more damage"
Wow im ashamed of myself of having any kinda hope for this new season, how could i be so foolish as to trust RIOT GAMES to make league GOOD and BALANCED
Honestly it's a step in the right direction compared to old mage items, now they look more like bruiser items where passives do the good stuff
Now they need to balance those numbers
I think once they adjust Stormsurge we will be in a pretty ok spot - it's pretty much this item that is a BIG issue.
Some other items may require a bit of adjusting, but they are nowhere near as problematic as Stormsurge.

By temp implementation they meant the entire game and all features that come with it
First week of Season 2024 on PBE has been rough. Since at least Wednesday we have a game ruining bug - sadly still in the game.
Quickplay has been extremely broken - picking a champion, choosing a role or inviting someone is an absolute pain...
These 2 things are what makes testing extremely difficult and unpleasant right now. Many people are getting discouraged already.
Let's hope this is addressed soon - so we can all have a properly tested Season 2024 experience.

I feel so bad for riot developers when they find out the whole thing is fucked but at least this is content haha
I love finding bugs on the pbe but I agree can't play with friends and for me game crashes a lot too it's kinda discouraging but at least thank go's they let us test this things. Because if you remember on the video they made they said didn't want to put the new season on pbe early!
I’m glad you finally found out about this bug. It makes the play experience funny but kind of horrible to be on the receiving end of.
Played a normal game and had a Karthus who abused the bug with the ult CD (much wow)
Tried an ARAM because I thought maybe it wouldn't work there.... In two ARAMs I had a Maokai, a Gangplank and a Rumble who abused it constantly. For me PBE is unplayable right now because people think they are SOOOOO funny
Items with extreme base damage and scalings so that every mage's spells are only as powerful as the effects they can trigger. Who could guess that'll produce some balance woes!

Real problem is that they also keep changing things to keep things fresh and refuse to do majior nerfs boardwide cuz they feel bad and lastly just really do stuff for real in new seasons to not fuk pro play in which they also introduce new problems with changes.
If they would take 2 years to just balance stuff it would work. But lol also needs change to survive…
Only dumb think is when devs reverse stuff that was changed for a reason or reintroduce old problems again with a hups did we do that? Mentality…
I'll be honest. AP items are so overtuned, so overtuned in fact that people, whenever I was playing support, my carries were picking Veigar and Ziggs instead of classic marksmen. Their items are busted to a point that it's literally bulying playing a mage anywhere. Karthus R would need to have it's damage halved if the items were to stay the way they are. Ziggs can literally bully adcs to death with a single item.
Like... thank god for PBE, cause Riot would not be able to balance this on their own.

the return of who one shot first win like i cna already see the fkcing ekko EQ auto proc passive electrocute one shot ppl hmmm fun or the vlad lvl 6 E R W E Q boost and one shot you or 4 ppl without getting fed fun
@@Katalina_baketsu Ekko already does an EQ auto one shot right now, so does vlad. These are both heavy one shot characters on live servers because their ratios and survivability are high, same as fizz. All this does is make the other 80% of mages that are pretty trash fairly playable again. Stormsurge has a bit too much damage, but most of the items aren't crazy compared to other class items, especially considering pretty much all mage items lost all of their bonus HP.

I played today vs a sion bug-abusing the Experimental Hexplate who had 10 seconds CD on his ult.
That felt disgusting.
I did something similar with syndra a 13.33 second execute ult

That's the reason most of the players do not play on pbe, despite the fact of having high ping if you are not from NA. Idk why they do not just disable the item until it's fixed.
On the sion hand of things, that sounds fun. Some tokyo drift action on the rift.

Try Nocturne ult with the new hextech item. Ult has a 15 sec cd, so basically the other team couldnt play cause it was dark all the time
When I saw that item it was quite obvious it is gonna be broken for Nocturne, Riot balance team is legitimately ascended for stupidity.
@@Diopside. The issue isn't that the item is balanced or not, it's that it's bugged to give the maximum possible ult CDR. That's not a "balance team" issue, it's a coding issue

So happy to see AP Ezreal being viable again, it used to be such a fun bulid back when Gunblade still existed.

It was still largely playable with the old new items
it's been viable. just go first strike or dh and build manamune into ludens and then situational lol get a seal if you can snowball, rabadons is always nice,, idk the game usually just ends before i get full build :(:(

Stormsurge DEFINITELY isnt coming live this strong, but it would be funny AF if it did cause i want to use it without 200 ping lmao.
Most of the items won't come live this strong, it will be an another full month of testing. But most of the ppl surely complain about everything that is only on pbe.

@@DragosVoinea1 It's not like riot doesn't do in-house testing before they introduce the item to the pbe. How did they think giving mage items that much power was alright? Imagine the shitstorm they would face if pre season would hit live servers in this state.

Stormsurge's thunder is so abrupt and comes out of nowhere while being a huge AOE. It's literally a screamer.

This preseason, we really wanted to give you nostalgia for the league of legends from your childhood. That being said, all changes were constructed from macaroni and glue
They seriously need to swap the cooldown on Cryptbloom and Stormsurge, and probably halve the ratio on Stormsurge while they’re at it.
They need to change a hell of a lot more than that. But OK. Focus on one issue.
this feels like early days of legue where you can 1 hit enemy with 2 items

From what I remember hwei doesnt have heal and his ult isnt that hard to dodge unless you get hit by his EE

This is the best season ever made, best patch for the 10 past years, I feel like early league of legends is finally back as well with the fun.
I had so much fun on the pbe, I hope they just fix the bugs and keep the good work going on.

And thats why atleast 7 seasons ago the game stopped being skill besed and bacame "EhEhE ExpLushiUns fUn" Butt the idiotic mass likes it that way so it stayed. Don't get me wrong chaotic is ok new and innovative is ok, Unbalanced and broken without counterplay on the other hand is not. And im not saying it cause of the preseason (i know its a test and stuff is bound to be broken) the game is broken like that for several years preseason or not.

I'm glad that quickplay issue is being solved, I've been very much enjoying the gameplay but whenever I want to swap positions or champions it's just chaos, wishing developers good luck to make it work

this is the same dev team that said there is too much dmg in the game and you should be able to survive longer and things like assassins not one shotting you with 1 abality

@@callmethanos5199 just a reminder that preseason no longer exist, and any testing is going to be on PBE ONLY, so when this go live, ranked is also live
now mages can be played again after 3 years, thats waaay better than adc meta
some of these have been happening to me on the live server, so I'm wondering if they're shadow dropping some of the behind the scenes changes to the client.

i saw pekin woof oneshot someone wiht just zoe E. yes he was fed and yes it was against an ashe support but E did around 40% dmg ( he had companions so that was a lot of the dmg) and then stormsurge killed her...

the pbe this week has probably been the most fun in league of legends ive had in a decade LOL - when everything is broken nothing feels broken so its just stupid and fun
Riot took themselves too seriously the last 10 years. They think min-maxxing professional play is good for the game when in reality just having fun doing dumb shit is what's good for the game
This bug with invites to the party are actually on live servers too...

The hexplate bug was funny the first 2 times, but soon every goddamn game of PBE has a karthus or sometimes ashe (or other global ults) and it got tiring pretty fast. Truly a RIOT GAMES moment.
