Are people leaving the city and moving to small town Texas?

  • Because the pandemic has caused many companies to adjust to working from home more and more people are considering moving out to small-town Texas and just moving to full-time work from home model. I have received many questions about this possibility and I wanted to inform y'all on this as an option and how to move out to small-town Texas.

    My job may be going to 100% work from home in a year, or so...they are still trying to figure that out....and Texas is definitely on our radar...specifically eastern Texas. I'm used to living on one or two acres up here in Ohio, but would love to find that in Texas, as well...away from the big cities, but not too far away. Oh, and I love hot and humid weather, so I think Texas would be a good fit!

    I have a home and business in South central TX I'm putting up for sale.
    Advertising in CA, Seattle...etc classifieds instead of a local realtor...
    I'm not leaving my home state or the county for that fact.
    Moving on and downsizing to a different location...

      That's very professional of you to offer your phone # and personal assistance....
      I'm putting pictures of my property on my facebook wall to show the home and area...
      20 year-old live oak trees and BBQ n patio are, to oversize updated AC and under-sink instant heater and updated faucets...
      Fully (minimally) furnished if needed with master bed room having a new sleep # bed and digital flat screen Smart TV. bedroom #2 with bed, new coverings and TV.
      All recently new appiances, washer n drier, lawn mower and yard tools...etc...will be included in the sale.
      Pack suitcases on Friday.
      Be here sunday.
      Relax...rejuvinate...and be at a new job on monday....
      i'll pay a $2k commission if you're the "advertiser" that lands the sale.
      Or if it's to 2 individuals, it'll be $1k each.
