The Absolute DC universe is what got me excited to read new DC comics again. I just hope that the storylines are at least completed. The ending of New 52 Superman is how not to do it imo. Don't merge universes or kill off alternate characters. They can just exist as their own thing like DC/Marvel films have done countless times.
A good, well-presented review. I lookf forward to grabbing this one up. I wasn't very impressed with Absolute Batman, and have no interest in continuing after the first issue. Maybe this will offer more.
I've never been a Superman reader but based on your review and the strength of Absolute Batman and Wonder Woman, I feel like I should give this a shot too... thanks for covering all 3 of these Absolute titles!
@@comicsheik7231 I did read Absolute Batman and I loved it! The collector in me was already excited to get in on the beginning of a new series, a new universe, so I had high hopes and it did not disappoint! Seeing the usual names but having them be totally different than the characters we're used to was a real treat, very fresh...especially the one on the final page, wow!
I feel like it's too early to honestly answer this. I might have a better idea after the first arcs of each run are completed considering the ultimate books are much deeper into their runs and i've only read the first issues of the absolute books.
Heck yeah!! Love superman ✨⭐ thanks, absolute comicsheik
Thank you!!
Great review. I’m really excited for Superman
AWESOME review man! I im SO HYPED for this! wish I could get a advanced copy lol, how do people get them?
Thank you. I work at a comic shop and they send us advance PDFs of some upcoming titles.

Thanks Michael, that really means a lot to me. I forgot to ask, did you manage to read Absolute Batman #1? What did you think?

Man but I want the spoilers Guess we’re gonna have to do this the old-fashioned way go out and buy it😂
What's better
DC Absolute Universe or Marvel 's new Ultimate Universe?

so this is a soft 90s style series? i see a 90s mullet i clicked
Kinda? That is what I was saying, the Absolute Supermain hairdo is definitely a gen Z reimagining of the 90s long hair supes.
@@comicsheik7231 lol I say because Jurgens isn't doing the supes art, come on at least for the cover, 🤣😭😭 especially if you want copies to sell
