jordie had to make that pass
Never clutch
Yaaa broooooo 😢😢
sigh 💯
Bruh!!!!!
should of passed it and left all those points on the field against the blues smh...
It looked like a try to me but if Jordy had passed the ball it would have been a try.
Infact an EASY TRY
@@001pambakali4 So easy it's hilarious, wtf was he thinking.
Yeah that was unfortunate, needed one more pass
Scott barrett 😂is the only barrett doin good 2023
very true
Don't have a clear grounding yet it's clearly on the ground..dodgy
Downward pressure hand on top, his hand was below ball. Say was probably a try but hard to give.
That last cane try was clearly grounded uh well hard luck well done to the wallabies 👍
His hand was under it....his own hand
Completely neutral Rugby fan from Scotland here, that final ball looked to be grounded to me. It was a cracker of a game.
Even his own hand was under it it's a try day light robbery
A pinky was clearly under the ball. That said backs defence from the canes, was poor beyond belief
The problem was, it wasn't clearly grounded. At no point can you clearly see the ball in contact with the grass. It's almost impossible for it not to have contacted a blade of grass, but if you can't see it, you can't overturn the on field call.
I'm a Red supporter but this is a try for sure.
I can't be the only one that feels as if that was a try 😢
No eres el único😪
Def a try
Looked over the line for me and wasn't clear his hand stopped the ball from hitting the ground but becoz the defence held him up in the air after he placed it down that's all the ref saw when he got there, ardie didn't put it beyond all doubt and score a definite try that was clear for all to see and in the end Ardie did get held up when the ref got there which was pretty good defence by the Brumbies, congrats🎉
Definitely a TRY!!!
watch @ 5:17 , the evidence doesn't lie, its a clear try , really beats me how the TMO missed it
So heartbreaking to see Ardie being denied the try.
Player caring the ball never loses control of the ball can clearly see the ball has touched the turf . That was such bad call not happy
If at 5:17 is not evidence enough for clear grounding then folks we are in for one crazy RWC 2023
Clear as day try
definitely there is a hand below the ball
What utter bullshit...clear try
Not a clear grounding. Close decisions like this is the last thing we need to be worried about with regards to the refereeing. You should be more worried about dubious yellow and red cards ruining the tournament for natural rugby incidents, where there is no malice or intent. Blatant reckless behaviour regardless of intent, should continue to be carded
It was a clear grounding. You literally see someones hand below the ball just before. Hurricane could scored if they just passed the ball. They had plenty of space.
How is that NO TRY haha??!! I'm glad an ozzie team is in the semis. All nz teams makes it boring. But to win with such a rubbish ref call is a shame. Albeit not surprising 😒
It is *incredible* Brumbies get a W in dying seconds. 🙀👊🐾
Not a Canes fan but that was a clear grounding!
Looks like the Crusaders aren't the only team who get love from the refs.
Who cares this is the Chiefs year crusaders suck.. Im Turning 13 and will get to go to the finals for my bday.. and watch the chiefs beat the crusaders again..
@@elgreyham2789 Already 😂
@@elgreyham2789lol suck? We'll see young pup
@@wexcity4974all ready to see the crusaders cry yeah I am..
So much for attacking team advantage
If it’s not clearly held up the advantage goes to the attacking team.
I have lost a couple of games to that rule when I was under ball and the ref couldn’t see
Super rugby’s a joke
I’m a Northern Hemisphere neutral and that certainly looked like a try to me
FU
The Canes was robbed. It's was a try
Complaining about an unclear decision at the end is bad form.
@@JaemanEdwards ……It’s not unclear, the ball is visibly touching the grass on the replay, while clearly in possession of the attacking player. Nothing else overrides that, except inept officiating
@@biggest23 oh here we go, you again. If it were clear and indisputable, the TMO would of had no choice but to give the try. But it wasn't, so he didn't.
Got it smallest 23 ?
@@JaemanEdwards ….You’re a generous fellow mate, always stepping up to display what a genuine idiot you are, saving everyone the need to put any effort in on the matter. The replay literally shows the ball touching the grass and your argument is that the dodgy call is what people should regard as superior evidence. I imagine there might be people that are dumber than you but, they probably aren’t as comfortable as showing it off as you are.
Very doddy call.
What a game❤
That ref and T-Mobile should be banned for the World Cup definitely cheated.
wow i thought that was for sure a try.
Wow..that was a clear try at the end
Jodie just had to pop that pass....
Ummm, yeah - not too many referrals with a clearer grounding than that... Home field advantage in the TMO box as well!
Clearly a brumbies hand under the ball correct decision by ref team well done brumbies
anyone with two eyes open could see this.
Doesn’t matter if there’s 15 entire Brumbies under the ball, if the attacking player retains possession and the ball touches the grass in the in goal area, it’s a try, cut and dried. The only reason Ardies try wouldn’t be a try, is if that hand had stopped the ball touching the grass altogether, which it categorically, clearly visibly didn’t. Hurricanes absolutely robbed by dubious match official ruling and there will inevitably be a bit of a rark up behind closed doors for that TMO.
@@biggest23 The ball categorically was not grounded. There's a wrist (not Ardies) between the ball and the grass. Show me a pic to the contrary and I'll concede he scored a try.
@@martindormer2116 ….It doesn’t matter if there’s ten defenders wrists under the ball, as that’s not what defines a ball being held up. A ball is only held up if the defender’s actions stop the ball touching the grass, while in the attacking players possession. The replay clearly shows the ball touching the grass, meaning it wasn’t held up and it was still in Ardie’s possession. It was demonstrably a try and the same video the TMO watched, clearly shows that. I’m a Saders fan, not Canes and am genuinely fuggin appalled at how outrageously dodgy this is. In my house we replayed and paused it many times to check ourselves and, it’s as clear as clear that it’s a try.
@@biggest23You're fucking blind mate. Ball never touched grass. Not a single camera angle could show that. Let it go and be free of this pain at last.
That was a clear grounding and try, very clear view in the footage not any doubt. The officials have some explaining to rugby fans !
Hurricanes were robbed smh
It was a clear grounding, hence try should have been awarded!
you're clearly insane
Chucked one of my slides at the bean bag lucky it wasnt at the tv!😂 def a TRY
The video replay clearly shows a grounding on that last try. Canes win.
Canes LOST 😂😂
Wow wat a game 👏🏾
How is that one bit of that ball did not touch the ground?
not clear mate. use your eyes.
@@KwisBwown mate use your eyes
@@KwisBwown you are missing the point.....I trust Ardie on this
Awfully officiated but at least it keeps the comp interesting from not having 4 NZ sides ay? One would almost think that was the pressure the referees reffed with.
That ball looked grounded to me ah. Great game both teams and well done Brumbies
It probably was, but there is no vision of it.
@@bremCZ for sure
@@bremCZ ….I saw it, everyone in my house saw it and the majority of the comment section saw it.
@@biggest23 The majority of the comments section thinks they saw it. Of that there is no doubt.
@@bremCZ ….Mate, replayed it multiple times on big screen, paused it, crowded around screen to see if we were in error….. We weren’t, it’s as clear as a bell, ball touching grass, in Ardies possession. A very dodgy call, that as another commenter noted, has happened a rather large amount at Brumbies home games this season, with the Drua game being the most outrageous one of all.
was that a clear try or a try every day of the week? 😁😁
That last one was a definite try that video ref must've had his specsavers on 😂😂😂 canes got robbed on that one. That's OK the mighty chiefs will them back for you canes Les Gooo
That would’ve made a all NZ semifinal
Should've too.
Who wants to see an all NZ semi finals . Boring. Losing the South African teams and the Argentinians has been the worse thing to happen to Super Rugby.
If they are the best is is not boring. It shows how weak the Wallabies are …
@@JaemanEdwards I didn’t say I want to but I was stating what was going on. Well if thats your opinion then good on yah
Wow! That was a great match. A shame one of the teams had to be knocked out.
Clear grounding in the last images it's a scam
Congrats to Brumbies. They turned the tables big time in the 2nd and controlled the match.
So: if the ball touch the ground there's no try. Knowing rules in a game is important. Thanks
Clearly grounded. No doubt a political decision to try and ensure continued Australian interest in the tournament.
Let's go Brumbies from a Fijian Drua fan
Hurricanes should be in the semi finals ,the last try shoukd have been given
That was a Try. No doubt
Great to see Aussie Rugby competitive again!!
Brumbies were surprised about that call as they knew it was a surely a try
Shame it wasn't though...
The TMO said “most of the angels that I have don’t have a clear grounding…” you only need one angle with a grounding, which we all saw!…. The most biased officiating in this years super rugby competition came from all the games that were held in Canberra, these officials need to be looked into, same happened in the game against the Drua earlier this year.
That's pretty rich. Canes got away with some pretty shocking clear outs, high tackles and line outs not straight. A few weeks ago an Australian broke their neck and the ref didn't even review it. In the same game a player hit someone off the ball with around the neck.
Tough call for that held up. But Jordie had to pass. 🤷🏾♂️
That piece of magic from noholo @ 0:42 was beautiful to see.. Beats the 1st defender with a fijian shrug, then run inwards on the 2nd defender to change direction with an outward step last second to throw him off guard.. realized that didn't work so he just fijian shrugs him to beat him & score the try. Fk had the been caleb clarke he would've instantly been tackled 🤦🏽♂️
If Jordy passed it wide would have being a try but the hand under the ball just gave enough doubt and I don't anyone could argue that point to be fair do think we are lucky of having two very good refs in Australia and for the Kiwi's having one good ref and two that are not far off from being good.
Jordie come onnn
1. There’s absolutely no way Ardie would have known if he scored or not. The ball was underneath him and he wasn’t even looking, but no human can know whether the ball hit the ground or not in that split millisecond, especially when there there is his own hand and Reimer’s hand underneath the ball.
2. His first try wasn’t a try anyway. The TMO replay showed that the ball didn’t reach the line, clear as day, but it wasn’t called up for some reason.
Poor Poor Porr, The Canes were robbed absolutely robbed.
"we woz wobbed". What a simpleton you are.
👶🍼
The reference was fk that tried was grounded fbc
Jordie just one pass away from semi damn
Brumbies gonna get pumped in the Semi's.
Clear grounding
5:19 A frame shows the ball touching the grass.
Déjà vu
McQueen/Jones Brumbies, WC99 AU's
Jones /Brumbies 03 WC final
Jones back and in the back ground/ Brumbies 2023 WC
They didn’t loose it in the last 10 seconds … they lost it because of their lack of confidence. They “kicked” for 3 instead of going for 7. They “kicked” to make territory gains instead of running with the ball.
They actually lost it because of 2 wrong calls. Forward pass and clear try. But hey as long as one Aussie team made it in the ARU are happy. Wouldn't have happened if that was an impartial NZ referee.
Well it has to be conclusive I couldn't really tell if that ball was grounded or not. It looked to be even though there was a hand in there.
Ozzy refs blatantly cheated Savea on that try
Jordin really through the game away
If the entire game comes down to that, then it was thrown away long before it got there.
BLAME THAT GLORY BOY BARRET
Before the Brumbies last try it looked like the Canes were constantly off-side. Good that Nick Berry played on but I don't think he ever called advantage.
5:17 you can definitely see an arm under that ball so not awarding the try is a fair decision
Try all day 😮
The initial grounding, shows Ball only.
Then hurricanes players leg in the way.
Then hand under the ball , after view, after grounding.
That's a TRY.
Wow , though lam brumbies fan , l really feel for the hurricanes that's such a bummer for them ..
Even when an aussie tries to be considerate and sympathetic it comes across as sarcastic and arrogant
@@nielspeter9692😂😂😂
@@nielspeter9692 smallminded...
No clear grounding!? Wtf!? Please go to opsm immediately. Ardie scored that. He said "I scored it brother" post match and we know he is honest. Hurricanes were robbed by a tmo clanger.
A few canes showing that they aren't able to cut it in the big important games...is it a worry for the AB's?
Try everyday of the week
Not often you don’t score that close. Really wanted it just for Tom wright
Anyways up the blues
that last one of ardie was an try
Non- neutral refs strike again!! 🤺
In a close game you can't be mad at a debatable decision
@@JaemanEdwards agree. The ref did his best. Both sides pushed things to the limit
Lol exactly
4:40 this moments gonna haunt Jordie for a long time
They really need a Aussie team in the finals or it would look so bad for Australian rugby. Savea clearly scored that try!
Impartial fan but that last try looked like it was grounded
T-MOBILE had tears in his eyes that’s why he had no clear sight of ball being grounded, but prior to that Jordie should have passed. That’s sport
🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
No clear grounding ???😅😂😂😂😂
Too bad JB didn't pass that ball. Would have been a clear try. Better luck next time Canes.
I can’t believe they do that. Try and dive over with so many in front of them. Jordy should have passed the ball and it would have been a simple try
So lucky. But glad. The Aussie teams have GOT to learn defence! Stop falling off tackles!
Seems like same was true for canes based on highlights. Endless missed one on one tackles for a lot of those first half brambles tries.
That's what the administrators want though. They've pushed for this basketball-style high-scoring to make the game "entertaining" but in reality they've missed the point of what made rugby great. It's like they spend too much time watching NRL.
The defence all round was shit
@@Jamie-ye7fu 'Appen you're right! So tired of watching rugby being played like NFL.
Clearly held up. Ardie's first try didn't even got to the line.
That was a try!?
That was a fkn try ya bloody grubs
Can understand why Canes supporters are salty about the end. What a shame
They were robbed and I'm impartial
The Canes don't deserve to be in the semi finals
@@jimmyobrien8738 bruv Jordie just needed to pass it 🤣
@@Vflex5207 I seen that, what a plonker
Is it a Aussie thing to say that someone's done a rainbow pass?never heard of that in NZ
and that is why david havili is ahead of jordie in the 12
Might have been a different story if the Canes went wide with an overlap of support that would've scored the winner.
Anyways, good to see the Brumbies carrying Aussie hopes into the semifinals as they head over to Hamilton.
That's why they couldn't see the grounding. Had to stop an all kiwi semis somehow.
No it's a clear try,
Wow that’s a clear cheat 😂
Well done, the whole world saw the ball on ground.
But let’s go Brumbies 😅
A tough night to be a referee. I am torn either way.
Jordie had a shocker.
That was a try Canes were cheated out of that one ☝️
Jordy was off whole game but it is what it is
Up the brums. Too good for the canes.
TMO must have been smoking something not to see that. Anyway if Jack Debreczeni keeps up that awesome form and Tom Wright continues to threat the line then I can see the Chiefs winning by 12+ next week…
Regardless of the last try being scored or not. The brumbies should of had a penalty at the scrum when the canes number 8 scored. The whole canes frontrow fold in completely and nick berry just plays on. Awful referee
You are a Brumbies fan, not a try
You are Hurricanes fan, definitely a try.
It is what it is, part of life, you win some, you lose some.
And the end of the game, the real winner is the sport.
Great entertaining game right till the end.❤❤❤❤❤
Anyway, Brumbies player must have giant fingers or millions fingers for any part of the ball not to touch the ground.😀😀😀😀😀
Blame Jordie Barrett for not passing the hog.🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
