Chris Broussard is by far one the best NBA analyst i've ever seen ! He ALWAYS speaks facts and the truth. Never gets tempted to say outrageous things just to get headlines. It's a pleasure to hear him in a world (NBA) where almost everyone is hysterical and can't have reasanoble opinions.
Leon Riveiro Jordan being the goat is an opinion not fact. and LeBron had very dominant games with prime Gilbert arenas and we'll you can name anyone in this league he eventually had the last word on them so far. except spurs. and like how Jordan couldn't have the last word on pistons or Celtics. so imo neither of them are the goat.
Leon Riveiro broussard states facts since when???
Swag King18 Did you even watch the video???
Leon Riveiro the media has totally forgot it was alwYs suppose to be about the facts
fuddyduddie1 no he did NOT. the bad boys were broken up, being the bad boy.
Whitlock got his mind right quick 😂😂😂😂😂
Tyree Brown chris pulled up on him 😂
No Kareem either
so can you tell us when someone checked jordan?or 13 years in the league as a bull nobody bother with him..
@@juventinos81 lebron was basically by himself
@@hyson727 my comment was about lakers and jordan.lebron has nothing to do with this.
We need more Broussard the only true objective analyst on TV
This is Jon Snow He's King of the North objective but his memory is horrible. That hawks and cavs teams were horrible in 93' only the knicks were great and mj got outplayed by john starks in the first 3 games. In fact scottie pippen closed that series out in game 6. See these are the things people NEVER wanna talk about or purposely forget when it comes to Jordan. Even wit youtube, u never hear any of these so called analyst bring up. Dont believ me go look at that series
You're a Jordan hater
NEGAL TROTTER oh he's a realist
This is Jon Snow He's King of the North true
So True! Colin is just straight up bronfan
Thanks Broussard for being the voice of reason
Remember kids, don't be like Whitlock and suffer from recency bias
Cameron Miah WORD!!
and diabetes
Coach JG Lol! That's mean lol
Nostalgia is more potent and makes us overrated more things that recency bias. It goes both way but old bias from nostalgia is much much stronger. Not saying Jordan is overrated but he gets a lot of credit for doing things he didnt do.
You're right. If you watch the video footage closely, you'll notice Jordan only won 2/6 NBA finals, the other 4 are just speculation. So Lebron's better.
I don't think I've watched a video where Chris doesn't spit facts
E7Suspect he is such a boss
E7Suspect he messed up one fact though he said Jordan averaged 11 rebounds against the lakers when he really averaged 11 assists lol. But yea he's always schooling these fools
E7Suspect Chris Broussard sack rides Jordan too hard
yes he does, he is programmed to.
Mj shot 3.5 more shots then Lebron and only avg 3 points more per game for career. MJ couldn't last as long as Lebron and had to many off court issues, scandals, gambling, deviant. Lebron is a better teammate, leader, and far better player overall.
Jordan Playoffs

He also was efficient and shot 83% from the freethrow line while almost always playing lockdown defense.
enough said, debate's over!!!
wow them number look like lottery number case close no arguments from me
but but but Jordan never beat a 73-9 team and came back down from 3-1 in the finals like LeBron...(sarcasm) and these kids wanna think bron is better than Jordan smh
SuperKool500 LeBron has pretty monstrous playoff numbers too, but I know he's not better than Jordan. But he is better than Bird and Kobe, and I'll debate you on that. Also, to the guy above me, not every LeBron fan is a kid
The Average LeBron Fan Faxx bro someone who contributes to the discussion rather than dickriding
Broussard dominates sports debates like Jordan dominated basketball. #facts
THE ONLY UNBIASSED AND THERE IS ANOTHER TALL DUDE WITH GLASES DONT KNOW HIS NAME I THINK ON TNT OR ESPN...
Dato Curioso the guy is bipolar.. What are you on about.
Does Broussard retire when he knows he's gonna lose a debate like MJ did and than come back?
02bcurtis True

Whitlock praising Lebron?
only for half the video
He was being sarcastic
pretty clear how staged this was lol just begin by praising lebron an then change his mind half a second after Broussard started speaking
I'm the biggest LeBron fan but Chris Broussard hit it right on the money.
Me 2
in 1991 MJ average 31 8 and 6 on 52% with great defense
NBA Snapchat & Instagram Stories L
NBA Snapchat & Instagram Stories W
Glo'ed Up when you don't have a rebuttal so you just comment "L" like a 12 year old normie.
Hes talking about the season, not the playoffs lol. Lebron is not averaging those numbers over the season.
Rojelio Castro L
What's funny is the people who say Lebron is the Goat probably never even watched a single 90s Bull's game start to finish. They purely make their arguments off of looking at stats and speculating.
If they looked at stats they would conclude MJ is the GOAT. I'm not even surprised with this because kobetards were the same.
Bedcorn they were not born yet so they just watch highlight 😂😂😂
Jordan was my favorite player ever and I watched his whole career. Lebron does everything he did and then more and is bigger, faster, stronger and more versatile, Lebron and Jordan are clearly the 2 best ever though.
Jason Whitlock is a perfect example of how the media is trying to push this lbj as goat theme. And how they don't even know what they're talking about
clearly you don't know what you're talking about because Whitlock is a bona fide hater. this is literally the first time he's said something positive about LeBron then immediately changes his mind.
Rojelio Castro i would have to agree with you. this guy must be new to these videos bc whitlock isn't a big fan of lebron
the media has been attacking Lebron James day 1 and has not stop since.
The NBA was not strong in the league. It's a myth people created to boost mj opperents. Remove the magic and put the Cavs in that era...same thing will happen. The difference you all be saying there is no competition
BrotherO4 ok ..So your saying put cavs where the magic is and it would be the same.. Does that also mean physical play and hand checking would be legal ? Ok but your forgetting about the Bad Boy pistons ,Celtics ,Knicks,Hawks , Pacers
This disrespect for LeBron James is disgusting
Chris is definitely one of the best NBA analyst there is, all he does is spit straight facts. No bias, no nothing, just facts, doesn't get caught up in media hype, doesn't try to push the media saying stuff (like whitlock tries to push media hype). He speaks the honest truth.
This argument again can we get some better topics 😒😒😒
`Thank you Broussard!
You can't foul these days..cmon now.todays game Jordan would average 45 vs lance stephenson and Jeff Teague smh
If he did that he wouldn't come close to smelling 6 rings
No grabbing and hand checking on Jordan? Please 45! If he averaged vs Phoenix 41 in the 1993 Finals! 1st round vs Lance Stephenson Jeff Teague Fathiuos Young!!! BBQ CHICKEN!!! 45 AT LEAST
Brett Timlin Hahahahahahahah
Jordan would have won a champ every year in this era
Artur Vasiljev just because the league was more physical back then, doesn't mean it was better, or that Jordan would have an easier time scoring. Basketball is not a sport of attrition like football or hockey. You think defenses have gotten worse because of the rule changes regrading hand checking etc? No, they've actually only gotten better, because now players can't rely on things like that to play defense they have to rely more on schemes and adjust than just physicality. Again, Jordan would not have gotten 6 rings in this era, it's a different game even from just 27 years ago.
Broussard statin them facts💯
Prisoners of the moment
Colin and Nick Wright have nightmares about Chris Broussards MJ facts lol
Ha Ha Ha
Btw, Broussard was slightly off on the Lakers Finals. Jordan averaged 31.2 PPG. 6.6 rebounds, 11.4 assists (Broussard said 11 rebounds), with 2.8 steals and 1.4 blocks. He shot 56% in that Finals. The Suns Finals was even more amazing. Jordan averaged 41.0 PPG, 8.5 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.7 steals on .508 shooting (.400 from deep).
But kobe went thru a lot of prime teams in the west tho 🤔
Jason Garcia Yet no one seems to acknowledge that just skip over Kobe like he's never played and just put Lebron over him in comparison to Jordan Kobe is the closest thing to Jordan
Not with Pau...and when he did he had Shaq as the best player on his team in 75% of those seires.
Baller Baby face 14 50 win teams with pau
Baller Baby L 2001 kobe lead lakers in win shares
But yet he went 5-2 you put kobe in that miami team with wade and bosh he wouldn't have gone 2-2 like lebron #facts
JORDAN AVERAGED 40 PPG IN THE 93 FINALS. STAHP IT
And Lebron lead both teams in EVERY STATISTICAL CATEGORY LAST YEAR IN THE FINALS.
jdrobin1 U right he led both teams in statistical categories but was down 3-1 and it took the nba to step in and injuries for him to win by 4 points off a gamewinner by kyrie
he lead both teams in 5 stats, drop 41 points two times, got a triple dub in game 7, made 2 3 points to even the game, the block to keep the lead, and than after kyrie he ice the game with a Free throw beating the GREATEST NBA Team Record in HISTORY.
if you gonna talk...make sure you dont forget context or leave out details.
EazyyMuthuLovinnE Dont forget the 8 points Lebron scored in 2011 finals hahah. Lechoke 😂😂😂😂
worst finals performance by a supertar haha nice achievement
yea what else is new?
MJ got sweep in the first rounds, never had a winning record without pippen, never beat a great team, and took a great coach to teach him how to win. Kobe choke 3 airballs, Tim choke a layup to win it all, and what?
Does that defines them? no Lebron unlike others (KD,West, James) for example never choked again and became one of the clutches players in the NBA, Kobe went on to become one of the clutches player in the NBA.
if you gonna Talk dont leave details and context.
Nah I will still take Mj over LBJ any day!!!!
I don't think they're allowed to say what Michael Jordan would've done to the teams LeBron is going against... Fact is, LeBron cake walks through his weak conference, and loses more often than he does win, in a series against the other best team in the NBA. You can't say the same for Michael Jordan.
The Avatar Dont act like Jordan didn't clearly have the better teammates throughout his career
John Creasy If Jordan had the teammates that LeBron had, the years he made it to the finals?
Yes, not to mention he had the most successful coach to guide him and his team through those championships
The Avatar don't be mad you know lebrons winning this year's championship again
the NBA is so boring right now that this people make the most stupid topic to talk about. Is a shame.
YOU JOKING RIGHT?! that gives me a good laugh wahahahaha!
Finally somebody admits that Lebron basically gets a free pass to the NBA finals every year.
I am so tired of all these LeBron is better than Jordan talk. Michael Jordan has far more accolades than LeBron and has won in a better fashion, there is no comparison.
kasnif pierre did it in a shorter amount of time also 👌
i just imagine how much Jordan would dominate in the no-hand-checking era, I mean the guy played in an era where centers and PF-s would "touch up" slashing guards, as Shaq put it once, and the officials would let it go. And he still looked better than LeBron. Not to mention the competition, or the absolute, never wavering, clutch that LeBron never had.
On top of that Jordan would post up, not those free passes to the basket because his team was stacked. Stop comparing LeBron to Jordan!
uhm his team was stacked tho...
Hanma Yujiro Jordan had a stacked team. That's why when he retired they only lost 2 more games without him
Gavin Sexius and missed the finals
DeplorableJoker ok? they still won 55 games, went to the ECF and were a bad call away from beating the knicks to go to the nba finals! ALL WITHOUT MJ!
Connor Smith ok they went from winning three straight finals to not making the finals the second Jordan left. Hardly a stacked team
Speak for yourself was better with Colin and Whitlock
Colin..you try so hard to equate LeBron to Mj ..that you didn't even want to here Chris's point
I love how Chris gives credit to both LeBron and Jordan when the debates about the two happen. He isn't bias Towards one
Thank you Chris Broussard
Zone is not allowed back then because of hand checking yet it was still widely used. The reason that they ban hand checking is to allow zone to be use. Hand checking can't co exist with zone defence because it will make the game more hard to play, because the NBA can't foul out all the players that used illegal zone so they made an adjustment the NBA remove hand checking and allow zone defence. So I can officially say that defense back in the hand checking era is much more effective than defense in the current era.
Chris just put all 15-21 year olds on suicide watch with them stats, goat stats. People today do not realise how dominat this guy was in the most physical defensive era. If MJ played in today's game with these rules, jesus he would avg 40 points. I'm dead serious
And he would get murdered by the GSW or Cleveland just like everyone else because he was a horrendous 3pt shooter.
jdrobin1 but he would still be a tremendous scorer who know kne can stop and i bet in today's game he would learn that shot.
lol Jordan would score 50-81 points in todays NBA
Son of Ethiopia u must be under 15
healer81 h cud legit average 40 these days for his career!!!
Or Jordan would stuggle to keep up in a game that requires you to rely upon the 3 seeing as how he was a below avg 3 pt shooter.
Edwardo Cariter look at someone like kawhai who for a few years was a horrible 3 point shooter and then became elite its something a player cud work on its just that back in the 90's the 3 wasnt nearly as relevant as it is today
Edwardo Cariter Jordan doesn't need a 3 ball fool he dominates the whole court and you can't stop him
SMH people forgetting how great jordan really was
Why should we give credit to Lebron for making 3s? If you want to be considered the best in the world you must have almost no weaknesses. Plus the league changed and centers now are outside the paint so he can easily just pres R1/R2 and lay up or dunk. He doesnt need almost any skill, just musccles in
even LeBron himself doesnt think hes the GOAT
Jordan averaged 36.7 points per game 7.2 rebound, 6.8 assists and 2.8 steals at 52% shooting season 89-90.
*Jordan was a better Scorer BY FAR, Mid-range Shooter BY FAR, Post-up player BY FAR, 3-point Shooter in the Playoffs and Finals BY FAR, Free Throw shooter BY FAR, getting to the FT line BY FAR, Defender BY FAR, Steals BY FAR, Blocks, DPOY, Without the ball, FAR LESS Turnovers, ala Ball handler, Clutch BY FAR, Tougher BY FAR, more competitive BY FAR & Winner BY FAR. What did I miss?* -->>
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Karl Malone has more points than Jordan too. It does NOT make him a better scorer than Jordan!
*LeBron has benefits & luxuries that Jordan never even remotely had! LeBron is simply racking up a bunch of over-inflated stats in the weakest worst, most pitiful, putrid, horrid, atrocious, dreadful, dismal, abysmal eastern conference in NBA history! LeBron also has the benefit & luxury of playing om the WORST shot blocking era in NBA history! LeBron also has the benefit & luxury of playing with the 'Defensive 3 second violation' that prohibits ANYONE from camping out in the lane, resulting in opening the lane like Moses Parted the Red Sea, LeBron also has the benefit & luxury of playing with 3-4 three point shooters on the court at all times creating more space and room to operate never seen before in NBA history that results in spreading the lane wide open like Moses parted the Red Sea as well! LeBron also does not have to endure the resistance of hand-checking, arm bars, checking in to the lane, pushing, pulling, holding & grabbing & constantly getting thrown to the floor on a consistent basis like Jordan did! These are all crucial factors to seriously consider when comparing their numbers. If you do not take this into consideration then you are being disingenuous, nonobjective, biased & dishonest!*
*Jordan played in the most BRUTAL conference, nevertheless eastern conference in NBA history, played against the greatest era of shot blocking in NBA history, played w/o the Defensive 3 second violation that actually allowed those shot blockers to camp out in the lane waiting on perimeter scorers, had to endure hand-checking, arm bars, checking in to the lane, pushing, pulling, holding & grabbing & constantly getting thrown to the floor on a consistent basis, AND never ever played with 3-4 three point shooters on the court at all times creating more space and room to operate that resulted in spreading the lane wide open like Moses parted the Red Sea.*
*Now use your heads kids. This is not rocket science. If Jordan had ALL of those benefits and luxuries as LeBron has had, then his numbers would be even FAR GREATER. Again this is NOT rocket science. We do not need an astrophysics master degree at Harvard, Yale or Princeton to know this. This is basic rationalism, basic logic, basic common sense AND basic laws of physics! Playing in a BRUTAL conference, with light years more resistance and in a far more congested crowded, compacted, confined, condensed, cramped lane resulting in far less room to operate makes everything harder. These are all extremely important factors to consider when comparing LeBron's over-inflated numbers.*
KJRawX ^^^^^what this guy said
Ahhh Chris Broussard
stats are overrated that got boy saying LBJ is better than mj when LBJ playing bums
The GSW from any of the past years are better than any team MJ played and thats facts.
No
MJ did too.
Saitama the teams lebron are beating, Jordan wouldnt stand a chance
Domo Gotti don't be mad you know the cavs will win another championship
So glad Broussard is here to bring some facts and history to this show..... Colin and Whitlock are so living in the moment they don't even remember how great Jordan was
no not even close. jordan average 30 in his playoff career lmao.
33.4 to be exact lol
Russdiculous scoring doesn't matter, you know nothing about basketball
Russdiculous True scoring isn't everything but he was an effective one that took over and won games. That's why he is considered the G.O.A.T
What do you think Lebron avgs dum dum... over 30
mikey James STOP IT Mj averaged 41 against barkley on 52 percent shooting thats not even human
MJ is the best ever
Hahahaha a
So we mention the injuries and missing of players yet the talking heads gloss over that Worthy was hurt and Kareem was 2 years retired and Magic past his prime...
But don't let facts get in the way of a good story
Brandon-Marcel Frederick Stafford Right...
Brandon-Marcel Frederick Stafford You still have to admit that team was still way better than Toronto or Indiana right now
kushal nellore
No I can't admit that as the West was trash in the 80's and early 90's. Much how the East is now...
A Lakers team with no Kareem and Worthy is about as bad as Toronto...
kushal nellore No you don't the raptors would've beat them. They had zero perimeter defenders on LA
Kushal well duh but they weren't better than last years warriors. nor were any of the other teams jordan faced.
This conversation never dies out ....
yes he is. nobody wants to admit it though. they don't like LeBron so they will never admit it. nobody hated jordan because he was the only one that good in history at that time
Zach McCabe please shut up. Dream team 1 and 2 were are filled with the greatest players to ever play the sport.
Who's great today that will compare to guys like that? No one. Just Lebron. Maybe eventually curry and Durant.
He's playing in the weakest era the NBA has ever seen.
When you played in the 80s you were playing ruff-ruff basketball. For example some of the things that the Detroit Pistons did in the 80s would give somebody a month suspension in today's game. So keep in mind Michael Jordan was doing all these things in that type of play.
I have no idea why but I feel Lebron would give MJ the business if they hypothetically played in their prime. Don't @ me
Think about how these two individuals think and you'll know the difference. Both can almost score at will but Jordan was the more creative of the two. Lebron is just like a 95mph freight train, close to unstoppable but one dimensional. It's like comparing Shaq and Hakeem or Tyson and Ali. Brute force VS. Grace and precision.
Bro Pippen would give James all sorts of problems. Don't get me started on Jordan. You realize James lost to some dude in a game of horse. Trust me you would lose all your assets if you bet James over Jordan 1v1. James too scared to enter a dunk contest let's be real.
In a game of 21 LeBron would get up 20-0 then proceed to miss every single shot after that and Michael would win 21-20

Stop comparing GREATNESS to MEDIOCRE
💥Boom💥
We did this with Kobe and now Lebron. It's unfair in many respects to compare thes players to MJ. They are their own thing. Lebron has been great for his era and the game of basketball . Just like Kobe. There will not be another Jordan period. Just leave it alone and enjoy Lebron. Because soon there will be a gal in the game when Lebron leaves. With Kobe then Lebron the NBA has been the 49'ers with Montana and young. It may be 10 years to find another one of these. They don't make a lot of them Lebron/Kobe/Jordan's.
Someone understands
I love how Chris changed Whitlock's mind. Chris is the best NBA analyst there is.
Just so you guys know LeBrons 3pt %, is the equivalent of 70%+ From the field
Cowherd talking none sense, lebron has no championship if he stay in cleveland,if was not joining to any superteam... all he only had is longevity and point,no champion even 1
if lebron went to Brooklyn they wouldn't make the east lmao,he was asking for more help with this team imagine with the Nets
Yeah it's not like LeBron carried a team of scrubs to the NBA finals. Or that same team of scrubs to a 66-16 record 2 years later. No way he'd make the playoffs.
I am a Nets fan and I laughed when Colin said that. The Nets with LeBron would get to Conference Finals or Semifinals.
MarcusUpZ Lebron deserves credit for that team winning 66 games that's an impressive feat.
Paulo Roque Lebron took the Warriors to 6 games by himself so I think he could beat the celtics
Darius Bowers But the Cavs that year were a better roster than Brooklyn this year.
Did Whitlock just give up and withdraw his argument?
Let's see Lebron needed to go to Miami and team up with two other all stars in the East to win. That wasn't enough for him though. The Celtics series was too close for comfort so he weakens the East even more by stealing another superstar in Ray Allen. Even with all this help he only goes 2-2. Then he goes to Cleveland after getting embarrassed by an old Spurs team and teams up with two more all star players. Lebron has only beaten one team that had more than 58 wins in the regular season and only one team that even had the best record in the Western Conference. He beat a second place 47 win young Thunder team, a second place 58 win Spurs team, and the Warriors that were plagued by injury and suspension. Jordan on the other hand stayed with his team through the losing years to the great Celtics and Pistons. And unlike what Lebron fans like to argue, the Pistons were not old when he beat them. Isiah and Rodman were 29 and Joe was 27. If they were old the Spurs Lebron beat and lost to were ancient. Jordan also beat five teams that had the best record in the west and four teams that had 62 or more wins. Pippen was the only other player who even made an all star team during their run in the Finals. Grant never made one and only made all NBA once. Armstrong, Paxson, Harper, Longley, Kerr and an old Cartwright never accomplished anything. Kerr was an accurate shooter but unlike Ray Allen he only took 2 or 3 shots a night. Kucoc was sixth man of the year once but accomplished nothing else. Rodman was a great defender, but never made an all star team with the Bulls and Jordan had already proved he could win without him. So compare Jordan's help with Lebron. It's a joke. And Lebron is still only 3-4 with all that help. Jordan also made the all NBA defensive team 9 times and defensive player of the year, two accomplishments Lebron will never match. He hasn't made a defensive team in four years. So I guess it's easy to do great on offense when you're not doing anything defensively. As for Lebron's assists. Assists are made a lot easier today when you're surrounded by three point shooters. The only area where Jordan can't beat Lebron is probably rebounds because of Lebron's size. Rebounds also weren't really Jordan's job on the floor but still Lebron does have that. The only reason Lebron will break many of Jordan's records is because of longevity. Longevity doesn't make you the greatest. Otherwise there would be a lot of other players in the discussion. I'll just never understand how somebody could even try to say Lebron is better with all the evidence against it. Being second best to Jordan is enough of an accomplishment. At least 99% of the people who matter realize it like the players and former players.
SS4 Goku 🙌🙌🙌
SS4 Goku Thing is he went and teamed up and still lost.
First of all that old Spurs team was one of the most efficient teams to ever play which included an top 10 player of all time and arguably the best coach of all time. Wade only averaged about 15 ppg which is definitely not all star material. Also Ray Allen definitely wasn't a superstar, Avery Bradley was starting over him. Jordan had two hall of fame players on his team and played worse teams in the finals. How doesn't longevity make you great? Lebron has been dominating the league since 18. In 2 of Lebrons finals losses he had no chance of winning in 2007 against the Spurs and when Kyrie and Love went down against the Warriors. Lebron did choke against the Mavs but you can't determine someone's career off of one series. I could go on and on. Jordan is the goat for now but Lebron isn't too far behind.
SS4 Goku bj Armstrong made an all Star team. he proved he could win without rodman? you mean when he had grant that done the same thing. the one year that he didn't have either one he lost to the magic in the 95 playoffs. LeBron was a great passer his whole career even before everyone started shooting threes. I'm not saying LeBron is better just that it's closer than people think. let's let him finish his career and then make a decision. and longevity does matter. who else has ever been this good for this many years in a row. if you want to say Jordan could have then they would be the only two
SS4 Goku he went to Miami because of bad management in Cleveland. the best players they got we're an old and often injured Shaq and Jamison
Jordan also went against Dan Marjele, Jeff Hornacek and Byron Scott! "Competition"? LOL!
would love to see lebron play one playoff game against the 92 and 93 knicks and see his coward fans keep talking ish. see this coward lebron fold and spams up like he did against the spurs with his menstrual cramps foh
ashtonjackfanny and dominate
Swish 1995 idiot
Just getting to the Finals was much tougher in the 80s and 90s - East has no competition today, none..
If MJ was in the league, Kobalinda and Lebronica would finish they careers with 0 rings. #FACTS
CyberSub Michael boredom is trash
W
if JORDON played this era he would not even reach semis
CyberSub stop dreaming fool lebron would destroy jordan....if you really think the player now days are weak then youre dump..
jay tualetonu lol
Gotta love Chris Broussard!
I agree with Whitlock....
MJ
'85-'86
CHI
43 POINTS 50% 100% FROM THREE PLAYOFFS
www.espn.com/nba/player/stats/_/id/1035/seasontype/3/michael-jordan
Got swept. IN 3 GAMES!
DOESN'T IGNORE THE FACT HIS NUMBERS OVERALL ARE BETTER
Tarek Tarif Whitlock didn't even agree with himself lol
2014 lebron is better than any version of jordan
Its always funny when they say...You made a good point.
MJ dominated alot of teams with 1 great player and some ok roll guys. The Lakers were old when MJ beat them and he didn't even guard Magic, Scottie did. MJ played on a team that win 55 games without him. Thats how good Scottie and his surrounding cast was.
They won 55 games without him and then lose against the Knicks in the ECSF.
A dude they added Kukoc, Kerr, and Grant and Armstrong played at an all-star level.
Black Ceaser but did they win a ring though
Magic won MVP in 1990, he was only 31-32. mJ began his second three peat at age of 32
Cause mj made his teammates better.. he made pippen in to HOF
so for the first 2 series of 2017 Lerbon:
34.4 pts -9.1reb-7.1 ast -2.1stls- 1.5 blks- FG 55.7% / in 42.4 mpg with a 32.3 USG rate
and in my opinion the real value stat that no one ever considers, Game Score of 29.1
Jordan 1989 in the first 2 rounds
37.5pts - 7.8reb- 8.3ast- 2.7stls-0.9blks- FG 53.4%/ 41.7mpg
Game Score: 31.4
Jordan 1990 first 2 rounds
40.2pts- 7.2 reb- 7.2ast- 3.3stls- 1.1blks- FG: 54.4% / 42min
Game score 32.2
so yeah i can take into account the first 2 rounds and only mention FG% by 2%
but it's a long way away from averaging 40-7-7 & 3+stls
Lebron should be the best 3pt shooter int he playoffs... because teams goad him into shooting 3s, litterally the eastern conference strategy is "let Lebron beat us from the outside, only defend if he comes in the lane, then foul" if you watch Lebron in these games hes trying to draw a defender out to the perimeter just so he feels more comfortable taking a "some-what contested 3" vs just bricking a 3 with no one around him.
Litterally every game Lebron is doing a stepback crossover for a fadeaway 3 and the whole time your thinking.... aint no body contesting your shot just take it.
Huh? So by that logic... Shaq should of been one of the best 3 point shooters in the game right?
What are you even talking about? The Pacers and Raptors have been playing up on him *because* his 3 has been so deadly this postseason. Just check and see how many 3s he's hit in Serge Ibaka's alone lol
did collin just try to compare big guys shooting threes to his podcast?.....smh argument lost
god i hate the 3 revolution
Chris Broussard....Thank You.
it's not that lebron plays nobodies it's that he makes them look like nobodies.
Kemet Trill nah theyre nobodys
Versatile Genius every team lebron has played has atleast one all star/ potential hall of famer just like Jordan did in the east.
Kemet Trill i dont base teams off of all-stars. im a mavz fan and we beat the heat we only had 1 allstar but we had a really good team. lokey loaded really
Dirk, Tim and Kahwai, Steph and Andre made him at some point looked like a nobody.
NO HE PLAYS NOBODY'S HE PLAYS THE HAWKS RAPTORS WIZARDS AND CELTICS COMPARED TO THE WARRIORS SPURS ROCKETS THUNDER GTFOH BRONSEXUAL
Desperate lebron james fans try to make Shooting a career avg of "1%" Better than Jordan is EXTREMELY critical and more important than Going 6-0 in Finals...These debates get so embarrassing..."Lebron scored more points at end of 3rd quarters than Jordan"...They come up with ANY irrelevant stat that would Favor Lebron and EMOTIONALLY RAGE about it as if it should be VERY IMPACTFUL during the Debate...Clowns
nobody cares about Jordan I was 2 when he retired
Wtf is this comment
Col Conno he doesn't care about you
Good to see people making sense for once
Why do y'all say that MJ would average 45 in today's game just because the hand check rule isn't around anymore? Today's defenses are MUCH better than they were in the 90s because now defenders must learn to rely on their quickness and foot speed to cut players off, which means that today's defenders are much more athletic, there's a much higher focus on defensive schemes, in fact, I've watched almost every finals game since the mid 80s, last year's finals and probably Spurs vs Heat in 2013 are some of the best defensive series I've ever seen (behind the Pistons against Jordan). Also, zone defenses were not allowed back then. It was considered illegal defense, MJ never had to face it, and considering how the Mavericks were able to slow down 6'8, 270 lb Lebron using their zone defense, I think it's safe to say Jordan would've had his fair share of troubles had he played in this era.
KyGOAT Irving 2019 MVP where are the better defenses? lmao
Marc NY did you even read.... lol
KyGOAT Irving 2019 MVP thank you!
Did you even see how Kobe schooled the current players before the Achilles? MJ is bigger, stronger, quicker, more athletic than Kobe would ever be.
In 80'-90s the paint area is crowded, almost clogged & it didnt bother him at all. He just went and dunked or laid it up on anyone. Plus, zone defense does not work on teams with 2-3 reliable outside shooters on the floor. It's why lebron surrounded himself with shooters since 2011..
erwin021777 MJ wasnt stronger or bigger. He was taller and he didnt have the muscle mass to him which made him a freak of nature when it comes to quickness and verticle but i agree. Mj would wreck today. Average games total points has gone way up because defense isnt a thing anymore. You cant breathe on a guy.
wat about in 89 jordan went 33-8-8 and more steals and blocks

Quick someone name a player from those great buck teams... Ill wait.
Christopher Sloss what buck team?
Eric Hall you forgot Dennis Hodges
Christopher Sloss Did you mean Craig Hodges?
Im lost why we talkin about the bucks?
"oh thats a good one" lmaaao i watched that part like 5 times
REAL QUICK TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN IS IT JUST ME OR WHY IS IT WHEVER PEOPLE SPEAK ON MICHAEL JORDANS CAREER THEY ONLY SPEAK AS IF HE PLAYED FOR ONLY 6 SEASONS THE MAN WHO THE WORLD IS QUICK TO CROWN THE GREATEST PLAYED A WHOLE 7 SUB PAR SEASONS THAT NOBODY EVER SPEAKS ABOUT WHERE HE COULD NOT GET OUT OF A PLAYOFF SERIES AN LEBRON WAS GREAT EVERY SINGLE SEASON HE PLAYED SINCE HE CAME INTO THE LEAGUE
Eugene Williams that is true but you have to consider that Jordan was drafted to a team that had a winning season and had two all stars when they drafted him and lebron was drafted to a losing team with no all stars.
johnathan jones Lebron has beaten tougher more well rounded teams than Jordan has. Every team Lebron has faced in the finals has been tougher than any that Jordan has faced. Not to mention the east was even weaker in the 90s than it is now. The east isn't even that weak any more, the east had more out of conference wins this year than the west did
johnathan jones Jordan made the first pairs of playoffs with losing seasons. East must have been real good. 😂😒
johnathan jones the best player is the one player with the best stats. Winning a championship is about a better team. Just because one player has more rings doesn't make them the better player.
johnathan jones you don't understand what I'm saying man, I'm not claiming Lebron has had the better career I'm just saying he's the better player. If we're talking best careers then you have to give it to bill russel
2017 and 2018 LeBron was the best versions of LeBron ever. Come at me Heat stans
Only things Jordan is better than LeBron at is midrange, guarding shooting guards, losing in the first round, and retiring when you know you're gonna lose and than coming back.
Curry and Durant Choke Brothers And winning championships with great efficiency 6-6 will never be broken it's takes Lebron 7 trips to the finals just come out with 3-4 rings
He retired when he knew he would lose. He had a team that was way better than everyone else never had to play a team that had a better record in finals. He had a perfect record. Yeah when he actually made the finals. Had to build a superteam just to get out of the first round. Never overcame the adversity of beating the Celtics in their hay day or the Pistons. He had Stern change the rules just so he could beat a Pistons team that became old. MJ=Fraud
Curry and Durant Choke Brothers explain to me how jordan knew he was gonna lose when he retired
Curry and Durant Choke Brothers Only thing that Lebron is better than Jordan is SCORING 8 POINTS IN A FINALS GAME AND ULTIMATELY CHOKING IT 😂😂😂
Jordan cannot do that. thats prolly the highest achievement of an NBA superstar in history 😂
Curry and Durant Choke Brothers 5 mvps rookie steals 6/6 35-5-4 at Age 35 in the playoffs. Don't ever disrespect the Goat again
FOH!! Against a weak conference!! Are ppl really surprised??
Y'all are holding to Jordan like a kid holding a blanket let it go and accept that lebron is the 🐐
Then you are just a delusional ignorant idiot... Lebron is not worthy to be in the same sentence as Jordan
kaleb manuel lefloping😂😂
kaleb manuel 2011 finals and when the spurs came back and 4-1'd him
Hahaha. LBJ HAD 7 FINALS BUT HOW MANY LOSES AND GAME 7'S? WHEN MJ MADE THE FINALS HE NEVER LOSE. HAHAHA. THAT'S JUST SIMPLE.
Randy Socia and Michael Jordan also never faced a team with more then 2 HoF. He actually only ever played 1 team with 2HoF and that was the Utah Jazz. Michael Jordan has faced 9 HoF in his 6 finals appearances, you can google this if you don't believe me. And Lebron James has faced 27 HoF in his 8 finals appearances. That should tell you what type of competition they have and to face in the NBA finals. Also every single team Lebron has faced in the NBA finals has a higher team
PER then any NBA finals opponent that Michael Jordan played against. Again please research this yourself if you don't believe me. When Lebron has to face a team with 4 HoF all in their prime, it's unfair to hold that loss against him. The same way Michael Jordan fans don't hold the loss to the Boston Celtics against him. It's unfair.
Ahahahahah their faces when Colin started comparing reporting to how lebron had to change based on rules, they were like "here we go again with the analogies" 😂😂😂 you cant just liken everything to anything lol
Does anyone else scroll through the comments just to look for Whitlock roasts? Lol
Salute to Whitlock for taking his L 💯
It didn't hurt that the league put D Green on Suspension for 2 games
It’s funny looking back on this
They gonna stop having Chris Broussard on the show. He consistency makes Whitlock look bad.
If you look at the old classic ESPN for any classic games from when Michael Jordan was in the league early on in the mid-to-late 80s against the Pistons
But who was on Jordan most of the time when he faced the Lakers and Suns? Byron Scott? Terry Teagle? Danny Ainge? Kevin Johnson? Midgets. I like how Broussard doesn't even bother to mention Craig Ehlo, who was Jordan's actual matchup and not those other guys. Jordan faced off against severely weak matchups. LeBron has had to go up against the likes of Paul Pierce, Kevin Durant, Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, and Draymond Green, future Hall of Famers.
Love how you miss out the fact Jordan played across 3 different era's. He was guarded by players like:
Drexler.
Penny.
Grant Hill.
Latrell Sprewell.
John Starks.
Joe Dumars.
Mitch Richmond.
Reggie Miller.
Dan Majerle.
Allan Houston.
Kobe Bryant.
Paul pierce.
Jason Kidd.
Ron Artest.
Bruce Bowen.
Tract McGrady.
Gary Payton.
As it is, in the finals, Jordan was guarded by all time steals leaders and defensive specialists like Stockton and Payton, but I guess that's just ignored as it doesn't fit in with 'agendas' No to mention the fact there were big men clogging the paint, from players like Worthy , Kemp & Malone, to Divac, Ostertag, DUckworth etc etc unlike Lebron, who gets a free pass at the rim almost everytime as today's game is full of....how did you put? 'Midgets'?
Don't forget Ewing, Shaq, and Hakeem.
i wish Broussard would check Nick Wright on this Lebron is better than Jordan argument.
That was AWESOME!!!! LOL. Whitlock was schooled and he loved it!
To me its a question of what they have done, the eras, and the potential. They both have done a lot. Both have amazing stats. The next 2 are linked. Lebron has grown up in a era of basketball that isnt nearly as physical, and he himself is a monster. To me, that fact he is a larger stronger version of Michael Jordan, hasnt won as many rings and we are still having the debate, is a testament that lebron is NOT living up to his potential. Michael may have been an athletic freak, but so is Lebron. Lebron essentially picked his own team and players when he joined Miami and didnt win everytime he was in the finals. Michael jordan never saw a game 7. Jordan's work ethnic and obsessive drive to win IMHO makes Jordan, still, the greatest player ever.
Every version of MJ is better than Lebron.
