The difference from K.D and Lebron the heat was not a championship caliper team the Celtics was the Eastern conference champions when Lebron James left Cleveland Miami wasn't the Warriors are the Western Conference champions and best team in the west so your not right with your comparisons.
If lebron would've joined Celtics at that time it would've been the same as KD joining Dubs.(not even then) cuz he joined the team WITH MOST WINS IN NBA HISTORY. The team that would go to the finals without him every year. No comparison.
galaxy eyes 😂all the Heat had at the time was Wade and they were eliminated in the First round that year i believe but the warriors won 73 games .... how can you compare that?
Of course Tim Duncan stayed they were contending for a championship for 19 years and had arguably the greatest coach of all time meanwhile lebron came into a dysfunctional organization with a horrible owner and that failed him to put pieces around him
Comparing his college record with a school I've never even heard of to NBA is just pointless. Phil Jackson is the only one you can argue is better but he had 2 of the top 5 best ever players & he hasn't had to adapt to new play styles like Greg has(most recently the 3 becoming the norm). LeBron carried a nobody team to the finals in his like 4th year? He needed all stars because the Cavs refused to give him help and the Celtics had a big 3. Also Duncan not having great teams? Best coach ever, Tony Parker is no joke, Manu is no joke, and then Kawhi for his last championship was no joke. All them will be hall of fame.
Skip forever bringing up the Ray Allen shot, saying where would Lebron be without it. Where would Skip be if he didn't go off on Lebron every chance he gets.
Skip makes a career hating players based on "what ifs." What if the Pats didn't have the best clutch kicker of all time? What if Malcolm Butler hadn't intercepted at the goal line? What if the falcons ran the ball in FG range? His fav player Tom Brady has 0 SB wins. I respect Tom and his greatness, I'm just going by Skip logic
Tim Duncan is arguably the greatest PF to touch a basketball. BUT...as far as first overall picks........LeBron from jump (outside of his win/loss record in the Finals) has been better than advertised.
Don't get me wrong, I love LeBron -- but he's no Tim Duncan. Tim Duncan is the greatest winner of the modern era. And the object of the game is to win.
Duncan got 5 titles but a) earned finals MVP in only 3 of them. And the two times he didn't earn finals MVP were interestingly the times where he faced Lebron (2007 vs Cavs went to Parker and 2014 vs Heat went to Kawhi). At the end of the day, Duncan was drafted into a good situation that got better his whole career. The only reason the Spurs were able to land the #1 pick that netted them Duncan was because Robinson got hurt that season, not because they were actually a bad team. But look at who Duncan was surrounded by throughout his career: Pop: Top 5 if not Top 3 coach all time, future HoF, coach his entire career Parker: All-star, Finals MVP, future HoF, on roster for 4 of the 5 rings and most of Duncan's career Ginobli: All-star, 6th man of the year, future HoF, on roster for 4 of the 5 rings and most of Duncan's career Robinson: All-star, Former MVP, Former DPOY, HoF player, on roster for 2 of the 5 rings (though only a serious contributor for Duncan's first ring) Bowen: won't be in the HoF, but for 8 years in a row was on either first or second all-defense teams, one of the best perimeter defenders of his era, on roster for 3 of the 5 rings Kawhi, DPOY, finals MVP, one of the best 2-way players the game has seen, future HoF player, on the team for the 5th ring Could go on but you get the point. The difference between Duncan and Lebron is that Lebron was drafted onto a truly BAD team and the Cavs became a playoff presence with JUST Lebron before he left for Miami. Lebron played on teams with and without help, with and without good coaches. Lebron found ways to be a consistent playoff and finals presence everywhere he has been. Duncan never took a team with no support to the finals. Lebron did in 2007. Yes, they got swept by the Spurs but it wasn't Duncan who took home the finals MVP, it was Parker. Lebron has also beat a 73 win team in the finals. Duncan never faced that. The only time Duncan faced an arguably better team on paper than the Spurs in the finals was a healthy Miami Heat in 2013 and the Spurs lost. You could try to say the 2014 rematch was equal footing but you'd have to ignore that the Heat had injury issues all year and had a massive weak spot at PG while the Spurs were a healthy 60 win team. Even then, Kawhi got the finals MVP, not Duncan. Lebron is or will go down as the best #1 draft pick of all time. He'll have the stats to back it up, the MVPs and Finals MVPs, and he'll be able to say he beat the 73 win Warriors.
We get it Skip. You hate LeBron, but don't let hate cloud your judgement. The points Skip try to make against Lebron rarely make sense anymore. Lebron continues to win win win and all Skip does is mention the Ray Allen shot and the Dallas Mavericks series over and over and over
Jaret Donald Patterson .... I'm afraid for you. Skip could have mentioned allot more but held back. Like he could have shown that LeBron controls the ball too much and has hurt his team for it. They can't get in the flow of the game because LeBron has the ball 98% of the time. He could have said even as player with the ball he scores should be higher than what they appear to be on average. And a player like Jordan average over 10 seasons 10 scoring titles, and LeBron only one in a softer NBA without hand checking rules and grabbing players and pushing them out of position. What about defense has he LeBron ever done something like average a certain amount of rebounds, or assists, and steals. Those are things to consider because Jordan average 2.3 steals a game and won three 3 steal titles in his career. These are intangibles that gives considerable thoughts about how you performed throughout your career. What about doing something no other player has done before like over 200 steals and over 100 block shots in back to back years like Jordan did. Remember Jordan was only 6 six foot 6 inches tall and was very dominant and difficult to defend against. Theirs more to Jordan than just rings. He also got standing ovations on other teams floor for playing at such a high level day in day out every time. No one question his greatness like ww question LeBrons. Jordan didn't make excuses when he won or lost he sent a message saying we will be waiting for a rematch. You got us this time so we got to come ahow you we better than how we performed today. And guess what he did. It's like a guarantee he's going to win the next match. He hated losing that much. He'll come back and in pain and play hurt just to let you know we are better than that. Go figure if you can find a player in today's game that tough. You won't. That's why it's hard to give another player that crown because Jordan's bar he set is so high. Rhat a lesser standards looks weak. And makes it hard to compare someone to him because they can't reach his heights when it comes to his overall game and sheer will to win at all costs. Theirs no other like this man. We waiting it's a long wait. Guess what it ain't LeBron by a long shot. When you compare everything season in and out Jordan way better. Sorry LeBrons fans this is the truth. Let say this LeBrons a great player, just not the greatest to ever play the game. That argument must be made for a player that either ties what Jordan accomplished are surpasses him. To become the next greatest player of all time.
NBA All-Star 2022 honestly, only people who were born in the late 90's and later/Kobe haters think Lebron is even on Kobe's level all-time. Or they don't watch much basketball. If Kobe and Lebron were ever on the same team in their prime, Kobe is doing all the 4th quarter scoring and taking over. Lebron doing all the passing, sure, maybe. But that's what Bronsexuals always make the case for. His passing, which if that's the case, you can make that case for a whole bunch of other players. And Westbrook is better than Lebron right now, if you wanna make the case for all around numbers.
Miami wasn't lacking before LeBron. They appreciate him but there's a lot of beef he brought and left in Miami. The Finals loss being number one. Another being he tried to dismantle the team and take everyone with him when he left. Spoelstra also notes how LeBron disrespected him and how he asked Pat Riley not to deal with the contract negotiations so he would have a leverage over the state of the team Miami loves LeBron but he's a stepchild to them.
Steven Weech no matter if that's the truth or not my point is if a player leads a team to back to back championship, they should be appreciated. D wade is my favorite player of all time and even I know he wasn't going to be able to do it on his own like that.
Didnt Duncan miss an easy lay in over Battier to tie game 7 in the same series Lebron was "saved" in? Didnt Skip's favorite guys (Kawhi, Manu) go 1-4 from the free throw line in the last 20 seconds before Ray's shot? Skip leaves out key facts and if you respect his opinion, shame on you
Also forgets that the 3 sent the game into OT and didn't win it for them. Spurs had plenty of chances to win that series. Nobody brings up Tony Parker's luckiest shot ever in game 1 either. Or that Lebron took over game 7
He's the best number 1 pick because one of the reasons is that it goes beyond basketball. His brand is unbelievable, The countless endorsements, being part owner of Liverpool, Hollywood, Blaze pizza chains, and so much more to name. Once his career is over on the court he'll go down as arguably the GOAT while his brand continues to grow off of it.
John Smith Yeah bro, I'm just saying that's a plus for him. Ghat dude is a rockstar. If he leaves the NBA it's no more rockstars. An example is when Kobe left, we still have LeBron. I hope that makes sense bro.
@@sdjosh9081 Hakeem top 15 in points rebounds blocks and steals 1st in blocks 8th in steals is the only player ever to win a championship without another all star, all nba player, or hall of famer.
Actually I would put Kareem first as most important #1 NBA pick of all time. The Bucks was a first year expansion team in 1969. 2 years later led with Kareem and Oscar Robertson they won the NBA title. Second choice for all time #1 picks it's close between James and Jordan. I probably give #2 to Lebron because the Cavs for most of their history other than a few years between say 1988-1992 have sucked. The Bulls in the early 1970's was a really good team (they were in the Western Division then before NBA realignment in the late 1970's after the ABA merger)but lost a few times to the Jerry West/Wilt Chamberlain led Lakers team in the playoffs. And third I would actually say Larry Bird. The Celtics in 1979, had fallen on hard times after 20 years of being an championship contender the longest in North American history. Bird was the one that started the mini Boston dynasty of the ealy/mid 1980's winning 3 NBA titles. IMO I say Kobe is the #4 all time pick as it began the new Lakers Dynasty of the early 2000's. Magic Johnson is not a top 5 pick IMO, the Lakers with just Kareem in 1979, was already a playoff regular. With Magic joining Kareem the rest is history. Here couple other landmark draft picks that changed a team forever. Bill Walton-Portland Trail Blazers. Hakeem Olajuwon-Houston Rockets. Patrick Ewing-New York Knicks. David Robinson-San Antonio Spurs. IMO instead I would rank the Magic and Larry selections in '79 as maybe the best (trading/moving up in the draft)trades in American sports history though. Ranking with trade/draft of John Elway and Eli Manning in the NFL.
Justin Quilit 6× NBA champion 2× NBA Finals MVP 6× NBA MVP 19× NBA All-Star 10× All-NBA firstTeam 5× All-NBA Second Team 5× NBA All-defensive firstTeam 6× NBA All-defensive second Team -NBA Rookie of the Year 2× NBA scoring champion 1xNBA rebounding champion 4× NBA blocks leader THE ALL-TIME LEADING SCORER IN THE NBA, THE ALL-TIME BEST CENTER OF THE NBA, AND KNOWN GOAT BY MANY LEGENDS. Yet you think he would not have dominated today's soft league and others disrespect Kareem by putting him 2nd SMH.
I would like to know why Skip Baylis always talking about if Draymond Green was not suspended LBJ would not win the NBA title why he never talk about when Kevin Love and Kyre Irvin was sick and LBJ took the Worrior to 6 game .
But lebron manage win 2 he just needed one game make it game 7 which he would lost anyway yall make seem he got swept or one game which he did when kyrie and kevin healthy .
chandlerAlexisneedsuckmeupnigga You’re completely right. The Warriors lost by 17 when he was suspended. Draymond doesn’t make up a 17 point difference and plus he played game 6 and 7 and still took the L.
carlos arias u mean by showing mostly people that diminish LeBrons career? there are more arguments made against LeBron on FS1 than for. They talk about him all the dam time cuz it's more interesting and relevant than talking about the new oreleans pelicans
He didn't over achieve. You could probably say exceeded expectations. I would just say he lives up to the hype. He most definitely lived up to the hype
Skip is annoying because he always say "what if things didnt go lebrons way" well, what if steve kerr doesn't hit that shot in the finals? Stupid things to say. You cant change what has happened.
Wow... you LeBron haters are ridiculous. So now you're blaming LeBron James for Coach Popovich not leaving Tim Duncan in?? What did he walk over to Pop and ask him to take Tim Duncan out? If you're blaming the loss on Tim Duncan not being in then it's Popovich's fault they lost that game.
+Cowboysfan4life Okay... He also could very easily be 4-3 in finals if Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving weren't injured in 2015 against the Warriors but no one seems to talk about that? If you going to have a "What If" situation there's always 2 sides to that.
Lazaros Maroulis ok, then thatd be a possibility of 2 arguments in mjs favor gone. They go to game 7 (mj never was in a game 7 in the finals) and if they lose, mj is 5-1
hahahaaa I always say this about MJ he could have been a 3 or 4 time champ if it wasn't for Kerr pax... even rodman, pippen don't forget BJ too haha. Mj has had a more solid team n coach over MJ
verbaps i agree..the bulls were leading the series when both those shots were taken..even if those shots were missed you cannot say the bulls will lose..
The "1-6" argument is stupid. In 2015, no kyrie after game 1, no love for the whole series. In 2014, dwade and Bosh didn't show up. 2007, had no help and had no business even being there in the finals.
But in 2015 he was up 2-1 on his home floor without them. So no excuses if they win that go up three NO one says anything about the injuries. Lol 😂 wade and bosh didn't show up? How about they were both there and got smoked in 5 games to virtually the same team a year prior that they beat. So save that excuse too, also 07 yea he was overmatched but you gotta win a home game at least.
Kirbystare1992 you crazy if u think nobody would have said anything, if anything people who have been talking more cause he won a championship without kyrie and love
Joshua Washington i mean in a sense you're right if they won people would say wow he won without love and kyrie. But to me you can't turn around use that as an excuse if you get up 2-1.
Cowboysfan4life different caliber of players and injuries. 2 seminal players for Cleveland were injured to the point where they couldn't physically play on the court; whereas, only one player for golden state had an injury that took him out for the Rest of the series
This aged well in 2021. Lebron is not only the best #1 ever. He's the best player ever. The man is still dominating at 37. This is unheard of and will never happen again. Just enjoy greatness.
its CRAZY how people seem to forget the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, MLS, etc are all team sports... There has never been "ONE" player to win anything in any of these Leagues. How can you argue wins, losses, and championships with "What If's?"
But basketball is the only sport where the performance of one player can swing games just look at LeBron his whole career he has played wit guys from the local park the Cavs wouldn't b in the finals let al9ne have a championship if it wasn't for that one person
Forrest Mann there’s a reason why your argument fails though... you didn’t list any stats. Mj is the goat not because he leads in rings (bill has more) but because of a combination of rings and stats. Also Tim was on one of the best teams ever
"Without Draymond suspension and the greatest clutch shot of all time LeBron would be 1-6 in the finals" this is valid in Skip mind to minimize LeBron's greatness but I can't say "With a good team in 2007, more help from Bosch and wade in 2014 and healthy Kyrie and Love in 2015,LeBron would be 5-1 in the finals"
+Joe Blo yea right because Boobie Gibson was better than Tony Parker and Ilgauskas was better than Tim Duncan, and don't forget the greatness of their coach Mike Brown going head to head with Pop lol
Marcos González true. Just like jordan had help too. So it's hard to use team achievements to judge individuals. It's better to just look and observe and perceive the individual's level.
Marcos González if lebron had a healthy kyrie and love in the 2015, that doesn't guarantee he will win the finals. the Warriors can still beat them. but you gotta admit the Ray Allen shot altered the championship. Also the draymond green suspension also altered a championship because no way with green on the lineup they were gonna lose 3 in a row. 2014 finals they just straight up outplayed by the spurs, plain and simple.
+galaxy eyes. You can give someone credit where it is due and not be considered bandwagon. It's not honorable to constantly slander one player using obscure and incoherent facts to support it. It's just hate.
SuperDominicHoward I think it's stemmed from people overrating LeBron. every time they overrate him, skips hate for him grows. LeBron is a great player and top 10 all time but he's not the best number one pick. that's just ridiculous
Duncan is a top 5 all time. Never missed the playoffs... 2 MVPs, multiple finals MVPs, 5-1 in finals, etc. To me it's between Magic and Duncan UNTIL LEBRON RETIRES (So we see the totality of his accomplishments).
Some of you are seriously so ignorant. Those famous game winning shots that Paxson and Kerr made were both in game number 6 of their respective Finals while their team were up 3-2. Even if the Bulls were to hypothetically lose those games, it still doesn't mean that they would end up losing those Finals as those series would have just been tied. Go watch those games if you all haven't. Not to mention, when Paxson released that game winning shot to end the series, there was still 5 seconds left on the game clock. Similar with Kerr's as well, there was still 6 seconds left on the clock when Kerr released the ball for the shot. And when Kerr's shot was still in the air, every other Bulls player, all 4 of them were in the paint with great position against the 3 Jazz players in the paint. They had the advantage not only in positioning but also numbers. If that shot had missed, it would have been easily an offensive rebound. 5 or 6 seconds is a lot of time for another chance to score. And in any case, those shots cannot be compared to those famous shots that Ray Allen and Kyrie Irving took respectively because those shots actually won elimination games in the Finals. Their team were down 2-3 before those games ended, so If they had missed those shots or if their team failed to score from there till the buzzer sounds, it would have been the end. Period.
"The Frozen One" is rhe greatest diss in sports history. As in "A man, so overrun by the moment that he becomes panic stricken and completely unable to act... Like a deer in headlights" lol. Grisly. The adult equal to closing your eyes as a kid, to turn invisible... And for that monicker to be associated with YOU. Lol Skip is savage!
Which first round first pick rookie player won his first NBA ring, his first finals MVP during his rookie year? Answer: Magic Johnson. Up to this point no other first pick NBA player had managed to replicate this Magic Johnson unique achievement. So Johnson is the best 1st pick ever.
My point exactly Magic!! Hands down the best #1 pick!!! I don't get it!!! Ran the team his 1st year!! Kareem was hurt close out game were magic dominated!!! These guys must have amnesia🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
TIM DUNCAN in my opinion in the Best Number 1 draft pick because he won 5 championships for the team that drafted him, never missed the play off. made everyone better including coaching staff, players and management. Played for only 1 franchise in his entire career.
Hakeem Olajuwon is disgracefully underrated. In my opinion he was better than Duncan and Kareem and equal to LeBron , Magic, and Jordan when you consider his absolute dominance of both the offensive and defensive ends of the court......
I swear lebron scored like 14 points in the last couple minutes of 2013 game 6 and u dont talk bout that and just the shot. Without lebron ther was no shot
Duncan won five rings with the franchise that actually drafted him. That means a lot to me, the Cavs don't care about LeBron's rings in Miami. The question is: what did you do for the franchise that used the #1 pick to get you? That's why I'd take Duncan. Five championships, three Finals MVPs, two regular season MVPs, played his entire career for the Spurs. I mean, it is not an argument about who's the best player, it's about the #1 pick, and the team that used that pick matters.
My only basketball jersey I ever bought as a kid growing up watching basketball was a Hakeem Rockets jersey everyone else had Jordan or Penny Hardaway jerseys.
I love how skip loves to forget all the times Michael Jordan never even got his team to the finals. Why does he get huge kudos for never losing a finals but no hate for only making it there 6 times when Lebron has gotten there way more times with less supporting cast. Lebron's first NBA Final against San Antonio was with a trash team and he absolutely carried them to their.
@@killerani6002 you're only talking about 1 finals out of 9. I was talking about the assertion you made that LeBron has had less of a supporting cast throughout his career.
@@worldclassflex First off, I never made that assertion. And if you look at their careers for the first 7-8 seasons lebron made way more progress then Jordan.
@@killerani6002 I didn't realize you weren't the original thread. And regardless of whether or not he made way more progress ( which I would like to see show you figured that) on the biggest stage Jordan never failed... And if you want to compare players from different eras anyway. You have to tell me what your criteria is in deciding who is the best.
Love skip taking the complete opposite opinion, but yet making me think. Watching those Heat v. Spurs finals was compelling basketball. I will be telling my kids about those series.

Ginobli: All-star, 6th man of the year, future HoF, on roster for 4 of the 5 rings and most of Duncan's career
Robinson: All-star, Former MVP, Former DPOY, HoF player, on roster for 2 of the 5 rings (though only a serious contributor for Duncan's first ring)
Bowen: won't be in the HoF, but for 8 years in a row was on either first or second all-defense teams, one of the best perimeter defenders of his era, on roster for 3 of the 5 rings
Kawhi, DPOY, finals MVP, one of the best 2-way players the game has seen, future HoF player, on the team for the 5th ring
Could go on but you get the point.
Cedrick Carson better than advertised ? He was advertised to be better than Jordan lmaoo
@Kenneth Erickson wait your the same dude who has miserable life going to any lebron vid snd hating bruh imagine being that miserable 🤣
mark P and he is
We get it Skip. You hate LeBron, but don't let hate cloud your judgement. The points Skip try to make against Lebron rarely make sense anymore. Lebron continues to win win win and all Skip does is mention the Ray Allen shot and the Dallas Mavericks series over and over and over
Jaret Donald Patterson, You are absolutely 100% RIGHT!!!! Skip is a broken record whenever LeBron is the topic.
I know and the funny thing is Lebrun made a clutch 3 before ray alen
3-5
Yeah the mavz beat the back to back,Lakers, thunder who were loaded and the grizzlies who beat the #1 seed who ? Spurs. Gtfooh skip. It's a team sport
I'm so tired of Skip Bayless, he just brings up 2011 and game 6 of 2013 over and over and over again. Because that's all he's got.
NBA All-Star 2022 at this point, its all he has to lean on to keep him out the MJ conversation
NBA All-Star 2022 son true
NBA All-Star 2022 That's why this show is not doing well in the ratings.
Dr0pkidd The show not doing well in ratings cuz they got ppl who don't know sports they talk about the same topics everyday this show and first take
NBA All-Star 2022 honestly, only people who were born in the late 90's and later/Kobe haters think Lebron is even on Kobe's level all-time.
Hakeem Olajuwon was way better than David Robinson and for me the best centre of all time
you don't think kareem is the best center of all time?
@@utkarsh4386 sorry, but Kareem isn't better than the dream.
@@MariE-bz2eq he won 6 mvps. Hakeem won 1. I'm a fan of Hakeem too but let's not be delusional.
Shaq.
Utkarsh Dave Sahni you make no context whatsoever... Kareem won 4 mvp in the trashes decade of the nba (70’s).
Joy bothers me man. Lebron came to miami and brought two championships and she still doesn't appreciate what he did. So damn annoying man
iSplaaash hes appreciated but jus not accepted as the greatest
Nino Mantra 2nd greatest 1st if he wins this title
Miami wasn't lacking before LeBron. They appreciate him but there's a lot of beef he brought and left in Miami. The Finals loss being number one. Another being he tried to dismantle the team and take everyone with him when he left. Spoelstra also notes how LeBron disrespected him and how he asked Pat Riley not to deal with the contract negotiations so he would have a leverage over the state of the team
Miami loves LeBron but he's a stepchild to them.
iSplaaash dese _____ ain't loyal.
Steven Weech no matter if that's the truth or not my point is if a player leads a team to back to back championship, they should be appreciated. D wade is my favorite player of all time and even I know he wasn't going to be able to do it on his own like that.
It's easy to "stay home" when you have an organization that knows what it's doing
John Doe damn right!
Yeah especially if you have Mike Brown as your coach hahaha
true
even easier when you have a shred of loyalty and know how to win
Wow Skip, Tim Duncan is the best #1 pick in NBA draft history? Your hate for LeBron is probably the biggest I have never seen.
Marvyn Dominique Tim Duncan is better than Lebron. Lebron is a stat padder that couldn’t win without superstars teammates
Lol And lol has been the best player on his team since he entered the league at 18 and carried his teams to 8 straight finals get outta here😂
Taylor Holt and has 5 Ls in the finals
Damian Lillard The Goat and none in the first round #MJ
Tony Tha Tiger won in the first round just to go to the finals and lose lol
I want to start a channel to hate Skip to see how much I can make, cause he makes millions hating on Lebron
Londre Gilkey do that I'll support
Londre Gilkey we should start a petition to get skip fired if he doesn't stop talking about Lebron
Ill hella Support you lol 💯💯
Londre Gilkey do it ASAP!!
No Lebron ....No Skip
"The most boring superstar in the history of sports" laughed out loud at this ahah. Tim Duncan was one of a kind!
Tim Duncan was amazing in the NBA and certainly a perfect team player, but there is a reason why he's called the Big Fundamentals 😂
"Wouldve been" "couldve been" come on Skip.
Maybe bron ducked his wife😂😂😂
Skip = broken record
Don't let this distract you from the fact that Skip Bayless has used LeBron, really got carried by LeBron, for his journalistic career.
What ?! Skip was covering MJ in 98 , he already had a career before LeBron got into the League
ROUBA79 true but MJ is long gone and all skip is known for now is hating lebron
Everyone I know only talks about Skip in the context of LeBron. Or First Take, which was fueled by LeBron so, so often.
Can you not use unnecessary commas.
John Harris like Steven A got his career for hating on the cowboys.
Top 10 best #1 draft picks :
#1 Lebron James (H.S.)
#2 Kareem (UCLA)
#3 Shaq (LSU)
#4 Magic (Mich St.)
#5 Duncan (Wake.F)
#6 Olajawon (Houston)
#7 A.I (Georgetown)
#8 Robinson (Navy)
#9 Ewing (Georgetown)
#10 D.Howard (H.S)
That’s a good list
I’d put magic in front of Shaq I agree Shaq is a better player but magic is the greater player
Bran G w
He's the best number 1 pick because one of the reasons is that it goes beyond basketball. His brand is unbelievable, The countless endorsements, being part owner of Liverpool, Hollywood, Blaze pizza chains, and so much more to name. Once his career is over on the court he'll go down as arguably the GOAT while his brand continues to grow off of it.
W
KION BROWN nope
John Smith Yeah bro, I'm just saying that's a plus for him. Ghat dude is a rockstar. If he leaves the NBA it's no more rockstars. An example is when Kobe left, we still have LeBron. I hope that makes sense bro.
Cmack34 mill ur joking right Anthony Bennett is better than bron
everything u just said there can be said even more so for MJ.
What about Hakeem Olajuwon you should at least be in the conversation
Michael Reid Love the Dream but that’s kinda hard to argue when the 3rd pick got 6 rings and is the GOAT
I agree. I'd have him in a tie for 4th with Robinson. 1) Duncan 2) Kareem 3) LeBron(could rise depending on rest of career) 4) Hakeem/Robinson
I’m sorry but that’s just stupid
@@sdjosh9081 Hakeem top 15 in points rebounds blocks and steals 1st in blocks 8th in steals is the only player ever to win a championship without another all star, all nba player, or hall of famer.

Steven Stolling and its never enough

Cmack34 mill I got an update that u responded but I can't seem to see it on here. please try again so I can destroy u
If you say LeBron isn't, you're either a LeBron hater or you don't know basketball. It's that's simple, there's no other explanation.
No, I seriously believe Magic and Kareem but up a fight. You could make a case for all three
Jack J Yeah Kareem Magic and Lebron are really close. Saying he isn't, does not make you a hater, it is a serious argument.
Ranking with trade/draft of John Elway and
Eli Manning in the NFL.
AmericanGiant100 put lebron in Kareem's era n Kareem in lebron era, hands down lebron would dominate n Kareem would not prevail

Yet you think he would not have dominated today's soft league and others disrespect Kareem by putting him 2nd SMH.
Are you kidding me? Dwight Howard over Patrick Ewing? David Robinson over Hakeem Olajuwon?
Howard was better than Ewing, although i agree Olajuwon os better than Robinson
LeBron is the undisputed best number 1 pick in the history of the NBA
Koh Smoger why?
Kareem is better
Duncan's 5-1 record in the Finals with mostly good but not great players and the tougher competition he faced disagree with you.
Diogo Costa sorry but no stop it. there's tons of players better!!! he's been the best player on his team of shooters and a baller (Kyrie).
R.J Williams tons of players better, who?
How was this an argument? Lebron is the second best to play the game. The 1st wasn’t a number 1 pick. Case closed
Lmao? Not an arguement? Dude scored the most points in nba history, more mvps, more rings than lebron. Aight mate LMAO
Won’t have scored the most points for long and LBJ will be 2nd or 3rd in all time points set up before he retires
@@Jomii06 who has more Finals MVPs? Who has more assists?
@@Jomii06 comprehension please. MJ wasn't a first draft. That's what chaos' point.
I think the third and fourth person were aware but the fifth definitely wasn’t so pay attention
Idk why skip keep bring it up green like he was best player in warriors when they had 73 wins
right...green is overrated..he's only valuable in golden state
its true tho the suspension of green shifted momentum which led to the cavs victory
......but what about when Draymond played in game 7, almost had a triple double and still lost?
chandlerAlexisneedsuckmeupnigga he was not the best but arguably the most important to the team..
chandlerAlexisneedsuckmeupnigga You’re completely right. The Warriors lost by 17 when he was suspended. Draymond doesn’t make up a 17 point difference and plus he played game 6 and 7 and still took the L.
Don't let this video distract you from the fact that Nick Young is only 6 months younger than LeBron James.
really?? i thought he was young
I'm going to fail the next 3 years of college from being so distracted by this
i'm dead after seeing this.
hahaha for real?
I guess we can call him Nick Old😂😂😂😂
Can we just talk a sec and soak in how beautiful joy looks 😍
I'm a Lebron fan, but damn I don't believe this show has went a single day without having a section on him.
Mally Mal of course bro... they gotta push this issue everyday until people are 'convinced' that he's the greatest
carlos arias u mean by showing mostly people that diminish LeBrons career? there are more arguments made against LeBron on FS1 than for. They talk about him all the dam time cuz it's more interesting and relevant than talking about the new oreleans pelicans
Mally Mal The whole network lebron should be their logo
Mally Mal without Lebron there is no Skip Bayless. fact
Bran G Skip is needed the lebron love affair is over the top need somebody to be objective
I haven't watched the vid yet, do they bring up Ray Allen legacy saving shot?
He didn't over achieve. You could probably say exceeded expectations. I would just say he lives up to the hype. He most definitely lived up to the hype
If I ever met Skip Bayless i would punch him straight in the face
Put something extra behind that punch for me
Get in line
Wow y’all are pathetic 😂

Steve Thomas no you wouldn’t 😂
How many times has Shannon said "And you look at what he's been able to accomplish" 😂
1:43 As far as I'm concerned, overachieve and exceed expectations are the exact same thing. 🤣🤣
skip should be thankful lebron elevated his fame and career
Skip is annoying because he always say "what if things didnt go lebrons way" well, what if steve kerr doesn't hit that shot in the finals? Stupid things to say. You cant change what has happened.
Wow... you LeBron haters are ridiculous. So now you're blaming LeBron James for Coach Popovich not leaving Tim Duncan in?? What did he walk over to Pop and ask him to take Tim Duncan out? If you're blaming the loss on Tim Duncan not being in then it's Popovich's fault they lost that game.
+portorange32 No but you can't deny LeBron got lucky twice in the finals. He could very easily be 1-6 in the finals.
+Cowboysfan4life Okay... He also could very easily be 4-3 in finals if Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving weren't injured in 2015 against the Warriors but no one seems to talk about that? If you going to have a "What If" situation there's always 2 sides to that.
Cory Simpson then there would be MJs first game 7 in the finals
Lazaros Maroulis ok, then thatd be a possibility of 2 arguments in mjs favor gone. They go to game 7 (mj never was in a game 7 in the finals) and if they lose, mj is 5-1
Jordan should be 4-2 then if it weren't for Pax and Kerr.
Skip is too stupid too see how flawed his argumetns always are...
hahahaaa I always say this about MJ he could have been a 3 or 4 time champ if it wasn't for Kerr pax... even rodman, pippen don't forget BJ too haha. Mj has had a more solid team n coach over MJ
Watch those games and see if pax and kerr really won it for the bulls..and by the way both are game 6
verbaps i agree..the bulls were leading the series when both those shots were taken..even if those shots were missed you cannot say the bulls will lose..
Lmao why it's not like Jordan missed it and they made like in the 2013 finals game 6
I love skip. He really inspires me. His performance as a sports analyst shows me that literally anyone can be a sports analyst
😂😂
😭🔥🤣🤣🤣
OK but how come when people bring up the Warriors' injuries last yr it's an excuse but LeBron stans can bring up the injuries 2 years ago?
Cowboysfan4life different caliber of players and injuries. 2 seminal players for Cleveland were injured to the point where they couldn't physically play on the court; whereas, only one player for golden state had an injury that took him out for the Rest of the series

its CRAZY how people seem to forget the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, MLS, etc are all team sports... There has never been "ONE" player to win anything in any of these Leagues. How can you argue wins, losses, and championships with "What If's?"
Ok
But basketball is the only sport where the performance of one player can swing games just look at LeBron his whole career he has played wit guys from the local park the Cavs wouldn't b in the finals let al9ne have a championship if it wasn't for that one person
Thank you!!!! That’s all that skip values too!
Lebron in Cleveland would argue that.
This isn't even a debate ... LeBron easily

Forrest Mann I agree, Timmy D > Lebron
Forrest Mann Tim was on the Spurs, one of the greatest teams ever with one the greatest coach
Forrest Mann there’s a reason why your argument fails though... you didn’t list any stats. Mj is the goat not because he leads in rings (bill has more) but because of a combination of rings and stats. Also Tim was on one of the best teams ever
Lebron to come out of high school and the pressure that was on him. The man lebron has lived up to the hype! Best #1 pick in the draft!

Marcos González good team in 2007? you serious? they made the NBA finals.
Joe Blo Wow buddy stop talking about basketball find another hobby
LeGoat James is no doubt the best number 1pick 😉

SuperDominicHoward I think it's stemmed from people overrating LeBron. every time they overrate him, skips hate for him grows. LeBron is a great player and top 10 all time but he's not the best number one pick. that's just ridiculous
2011, the most disgraceful performance in the history of sports.

MJ would have 3 or 4 if it wasn't for Paxson or Kerr we gon sleep on that Skiiip!! smh this guy
Tk Hannibal i surely agree 100 percent
Period.
The Kyrie shot still would have happened because it was like 4 or 5 possessions later after the bock and still would have given the Cavs the lead
Were those shots do or die shots? Oh wait... that’s right... Jordan never played in a game 7 in the finals :)
Tk Hannibal LOL
LET ME FINISH! Skip needs to chill

Lebron gonna attend Skip's funeral and laugh at all the times he doubted him
Shannon its funny how you left out Magic who was a #1 pick and who was consistently the best player on his team
skips lebron hate is on another level lol
kareem gets no respect EVER
ryen mcdonald Why ? He's widely regarded as a top 3 player of all time.
Tim Doesn't need 10 rings, he's already better than Lebum for Spurs fans
I agree, Kareem literally changed the game! Hakeem is over looked to. The skill level was off the chart. He was better than Tim
Chris Sarpy it think it's because people now are out of touch with these old players
ryen mcdonald: eventually, that'll happen with Jordan too
thats exactly what everybody hating on Lebron is afraid of.
TIM DUNCAN in my opinion in the Best Number 1 draft pick because he won 5 championships for the team that drafted him, never missed the play off. made everyone better including coaching staff, players and management. Played for only 1 franchise in his entire career.
last time I checked, kobe was the best in the league in 2010
lebron 2nd year in the NBA he averaged 27 7 7 ... lebron been the best for so long man he's Aron rodgers , Kobe was tom Brady winning rings
Is it wrong to say Tim Duncan is the best #1 overall pick of all time?
Skips Duncan arguement was good
Hakeem Olajuwon is disgracefully underrated. In my opinion he was better than Duncan and Kareem and equal to LeBron , Magic, and Jordan when you consider his absolute dominance of both the offensive and defensive ends of the court......
@Bruce Wayne Better than Kareen all around but not as a scorer & longevity. Close call.
I swear lebron scored like 14 points in the last couple minutes of 2013 game 6 and u dont talk bout that and just the shot. Without lebron ther was no shot
Skip: LET ME FINISH!!!!!
Me whispering to Shannon and Chris;
LMAO !! LOOK YAW LOOK! HE SALTY!!
I'd pay to see Nick wright vs skip on undisputed
like if you agree
Duncan won five rings with the franchise that actually drafted him. That means a lot to me, the Cavs don't care about LeBron's rings in Miami. The question is: what did you do for the franchise that used the #1 pick to get you? That's why I'd take Duncan. Five championships, three Finals MVPs, two regular season MVPs, played his entire career for the Spurs. I mean, it is not an argument about who's the best player, it's about the #1 pick, and the team that used that pick matters.
I agree with Skip on this one Duncan was underrated and great player .
Lebrons never had a magic on his team😂
My only basketball jersey I ever bought as a kid growing up watching basketball was a Hakeem Rockets jersey everyone else had Jordan or Penny Hardaway jerseys.
they’re missing the playoffs rn
just lost to the celtics and lebron still had a triple double
Fast forward and they 24-4
Best pick period..wtf
I won the office pool. Skip brought up the Ray Allen shot in the first 30 seconds of his time talking.
Less supporting cast lol D- Wade , Chris Bosh, Ray Allen, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, 4 HOF and a perrenial all star
@@worldclassflex so they all played with him vs the spurs???
Shannon said LeBron was the best player for ten years but wasn't Kobe the best until like 2012?
Bilal Khares how when LBJ had more finals mvps, regular season mvps, and better fg percentage and averaged like 28 7 7
@@kyokitagawa7977 2010 actually not 2012
Love skip taking the complete opposite opinion, but yet making me think. Watching those Heat v. Spurs finals was compelling basketball. I will be telling my kids about those series.
If LeBron turned out like he did today, and was any number in any draft he would be best number draft pick. Including 3.
Not including 3
lmaooo
Skip blatantly is a hater
trent wellmaker you a hater hater
