In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion. Приколы
"It's an absolute casserole down there"
- Mike Wozniak, 2021
I love how they named the episode after that quote.
@@mattwilkinson3209 It has been the quote of the series so far, so they had to show their appreciation. I know I nearly died of laughter when I got to that point of the episode.
One of the most amazing lines I've ever heard.
It's an epic line!
I don't think I can face casserole ever again! 😱🤢
I dread to think what it implies.
Can we just appreciate how everyone else looks equal parts disgusted and sympathetic for Mike, and then Sarah's almost dying laughing.
Until the word casserole comes out and everyone loses it
Sarah kendall is all of us
@@cayleigh7154 I dunno, I felt more like Charlotte for a good portion of this.

No
This may be my favourite moment in Taskmaster history, pushing James’ discovery of Rhod closing the garage door down to number 2.
I think the garage incident still comes in first for me.
The fact that both of you rate the garage door above the potato throw AND Josh’s tattoo baffles me
@@matt4812 the tattoo was very good, but not top moment material. the potato throw was great, definitely top 3, but watching James have not one, but TWO! mental breakdowns because of Rhod will always reign supreme in my heart lol
@@matt4812 In retrospect the tattoo holds more weight than it did in the moment. But yeah it's not a tp 3 moment.
For me those three goes potato throw > Wozniak’s absolute casserole > James’ breakdown, although all three are great. But I think the split second when Romesh broke that watermelon beats them all.
It's an utter tragedy that Mr Wozniak was not able to be experienced by an in-house audience. That 'casserole' line would have floored them
This literally couldn’t have gone better for Alex. I’m sure all he wanted was just a bunch of clips of Mike in weird positions trying to fart.
Literally?
@@minirock000 I mean, "litteraly" works here, it's honestly kind of the best outcome to this task, he probability didn't even expect it was going to go that "well". And god knows I'm such a "litteraly" freak...
@bad1dobby my bad, I'm french and we write "littéralement" (see, confusing) so sometimes, if let's say I quickly write a comment on RUclips and not a resume, I make spelling errors. But thank you for pointing that out, it was important. 🙃
@@carolemercier7704 take no notice of the spelling police. Some people just have to be dicks. Sadly.
@@Rachel-tr8mg haha, I know... But I mean, they must have been so proud of themselves, let's not ruin it for them. Finding this come back was probability the highlight of their day (if not week, or month, or life). But thank you for the nice comment, genuinely 😊
the fact this trended number one in the uk is incredible
People may try to be posh but everyone likes a good casserole
I am not the least bit surprised. Thank God for British humor (from a grateful Yank).

Mike is the greatest taskmaster contestant of all time
I agree.
Agreed :3
IIRC Mike won the very first Taskmaster when Alex did it at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2010, so he is the original Taskmaster Champion!
Everyone watching this series came for Lee Mack. We’ll leave cheering and carrying Mike Wozniak on our shoulders.
@@kisbie Gently, very very gently, on a special cushion.
The fact that Sarah has "one in the bank" doesn't surprise me one bit. She seems so capable that even farts obey her. While poor Mike had to pop hemorrhoid.
Greg should've challenged her on that: "Ok, do it within the next 30 seconds and you get a bonus point" :D
In the “bank”
@@Ploon72 Thank you! 👍 English is obviously not my native language.
The fact that it genuinely annoys her she wasn’t asked to fart on national television proves she’s definitely gonna win this series. She has the champion’s mindset. 😆
@@tiarkrezar yes!
I'm never going to be able to eat a casserole again without thinking about Mike Wozniak's arse.
right. and the worst thing is, I don't mind it
is that a bad thing?
I had that problem even before this aired.
@Red Dwarf 😂😂😂😂🙄👍
😂😂
“Fart, fartest wins” gets me every time
Greg had said to Ed Gamble on the TM Podcast that there were 2 instances in this series that left him speechless and that Ed should watch out for them. I've been waiting and this was definitely one.
I think the other one is in the last episode of this series. If it tops *this* I dread to see what it is :D this absolutely destroyed me. And my delightful morning coffee that I almost choked on twice
In a Facebook group someone who was at some of the screenings said the second one was in the last episode
definitely in the last episode yeah, absolutely insane moment
@@rodanandme what was it?
@@caitsophie3181 must've been mike's prize task
Mike Wozniak has been a pleasant surprise for me. I never heard of him, but he’s absolutely hilarious.
Same here and he's now become one of my favourites of all the shows. If he keeps going as he has been, he'll be my favourite. He's just such a joy to watch.
The No Smoking sign says "Amlen Agored", which is Welsh for "Open Envelope". The set designer was having a jolly little day for that bit.
Just googled that and came to post it myself:) Being on the props department for this show must be a blast
How's it pronounced, though?
@Red Dwarf AM-len ag-OR-ed. Welsh is phonetic so you pronounce every syllable as it's written. 🏴👍
That is amazing! Why Welsh though? I know that Greg's family is Welsh but they put props in the house to be Russian.
That is incredible. Bonus point for the set design folks
Mike Wozniak could cure cancer and bring about world peace and he would still be remember as the guy who got a hemorrhoid on Taskmaster

*"absolute casserole down there"*
hardest I have seen Alex laugh in 11 series at 4:44
mike is legendary
The way Alex kicks his legs up a bit in ecstasy is delightful.
It was great, especially as Alex is the one person on camera who knew the full story, or so he thought. Then Mike manages to get one over on him and surprise everyone. Instantly a classic task.
I think Alex has laughed more at Mike than he has for any other contestant. He just seems to be catered exactly to his sense of humour.
WE WANT AN UNCUT VERSION OF THE CAST REACTING TO "ABSOLUTE CASSEROLE"!!!
Second that!
Third that!
Fourth that!
Fifth that!
Sixth that!
This task was equally horrifying and amazing how he went into such detail. I'd never own up to that lol.
I guess being a doctor cures you of any squeamishness.
You get a task, *you do the task*
@Red Dwarf what was the joke
@Red Dwarf
Not to spoil the punch line but I'm actually from there 😆
This is the most harrowing experience Taskmaster has put us through. The world will be divided into two different eras, Pre-Casserole, and Post-Casserole.
As if anything matters anymore
@@lnfreeman this seems a bit deep and dark, as brief a comment as it is. You alright mate? What did you mean exactly by that- referring to all the crap happenings on earth the past year or personal issues? Hope you feel better
@@charlieross4674 I think they meant to say this moment was so earth shatteringly significant, nothing else can compare to it. Nothing else matters, it's hidden in the shadow of this event.
@@charlieross4674 I'm quoting Greg Davies in this very episode, post-casserole. But thanks for the vote of confidence.
@@therogueadmiral you got it, Admiral.
I feel really bad for Mike, and I really really hope he's okay, but I absolutely couldn't stop laughing
He’s fine, love.
He's a trained doctor so I'm sure he okay
I tried to prepare myself mentally for this...
And there is no way I could have expected that...
It’s just... so much worse than all of my expectations
Mike Wozniak wasn't the only one who got more than he bargained for. Even Greg was shocked.
This is definitely in the top 5 moments alongside Rom's melon moment and Joe's potato throw
How about rhod Gilbert's short film
Don't forget the GREG tattoo
And Tim Vine trying to find that hook!
And Rom's technique to cry...rubbing chilli sauce in his eyes
Alex sitting bare-arsed on Liza's cake
Charlotte reacting like a sweet child experiencing the thing that kills their childhood innocence is the icing on the cake.
The season MVP isn't always the winner.
Bear in mind that Mike has been sat there all season, having dislodged a haemorrhoid that he claims is still dangling about down there. Absolute mad lad.
See how fidgety he is though. Always leaning this way and that. Poor guy.
"It's an absolute casserole down there" is going on my tombstone.
I have never once laughed so hard during a Taskmaster episode. Not once. I literally laughed myself into a full blown asthma attack. My eyes stung with tears for an hour. This was gold and should go in a British Television Comedy Museum.
I laughed so hard I farted... twice 😂😂😂
What I like best is Alex hiding his face in equal amounts of delight and shame at having exposed the people's princess as a casserolemonger.
I could not have more respect for the man. Honestly, such a sweet, funny and endearing legend.
He made Greg cry/laugh. He deserves 5 points for that.
It's safe to say that I will remember this moment til the day I die.
I don’t think you will
I’ll never think of casseroles the same way again. 🤮

@@doctormartha2008 come back in 5 years
This goes down in the annals of legendary Taskmaster moments, along with Romesh's watermelon smash, Joe's potato throw, Liza's cake, James's garage door breakdown, Ed's chickpea, and Daisy's hippo drawing.
Missed a big opportunity to say the anals of legendary Taskmaster moments
And Rod Gilber's sheer existence.
No fucking way should the hippo drawing be listed with those other 5, it was just a worse version of Ed and David's drawings, and is Iain Stirling hammock levels of hard to watch
The "annals", very clever wordplay
Mike wosniak just has the most fantastic ways of describing things. like "an absolute casserole" is dumb, but also just makes so much sense and is hilarious
This will enter the Taskmaster Hall of Fame on the day it was "aired". One of the best Taskmaster moments, right next to Joe's potato throw, Josh's tattoo and Rhod's hiding.
I'm in tears... 😂😂😂
Silver lining: calling someone "an absolute CASSEROLE" has just become my #1 go-to insult.
They hired a plane for this. A plane for a fart task. I solidly believe reusing it for the deep-fried task, later on, was just an afterthought.
I feel like Mike Wozniak might be the kind of guy who's been seriously down and depressed for a substantial part of his early life, and eventually managed to crawl his way out of it. The positivity that we feel radiating from him could be his sheer commitment to staying on top of it. I'm only thinking out loud, so it's likely to be wrong, but there's just an impressive degree of resilience about him. The kind that feels like it's achieved in a hard way.
its already up there with liza's cake task as one of the most memorable moments ever
not really.
In some ways it's the opposite of Liza's cake.
"Turns out I've not been in love before"
Never heard of Mike before this series of TM. But I absolutely want to see him in everything from now on!
I'm going to be watching this for years upon years to come in future Taskmaster clip compilations, and it will make me laugh and cry every time.
Greg’s laugh for this, along with Alex’s, just gives me such tremendous joy!
I'm not usually one for fart humour but my god I've just spent the last few minutes crying with laughter. All that effort for such little pay off 🤣
Our neighbours were genuinely concerned about the amount of laughter coming from us 🤣
Mike's really lovely but I keep coming back to this video for alex's adorable reaction at 4:44. Incredible
Tick tock, it's fart o'clock!
But he's had a lovely day out & you can't take that away from him! 😂
Poor Wozniak
This is what I call commitment
Wozniak’s Golden Rule: You get a task, you do the task. Whatever the cost.
I wish they had included the "What have we learned" part where Greg gets everyone quiet, and then plays it isolated again
Alex is so pleased with himself for asking Mike to do it, its so cute the way he's giggling over there 😂😂
this season is probably one of my top 3 with season 4 and 7. hilarious cast, i love them all but mike and sarah have a super soft spot in my heart
This was the first ever task where I genuinely thought I was going to be sick from laughing. I had to pause the telly and take deep breaths because I was practically hysterical at this point.
"It's an absolute casserole down there."
This truly is the worst thing I have seen and heard, and yet I still keep replaying this video. It's like a curse has befallen me and the memory of this moment will be forever lodged in my brain, unable to be forgotten. Anyways, great show!
Huh, what a weird video for you to show up on Nitro.
This was the turning point for me this series, I literally had tears rolling down my face at this part. Mike is defo the best this season.
This is a very elaborate way for Alex to apologize to Katherine. 😂🤣
I almost produced a casserole myself while laughing during this bit hahaha
Honestly, Mike has become the GOAT of taskmaster and this task has to be the greatest too. Acaster and Wang have now been put down to 2nd and 3rd
The fact that he sat through all the segments where they show the early clips in the studio and never let anything on. Consummate showman.
This is the clip I will now go to if I need cheering up. The way everybody is absolutely delirious with laughter, even Greg who so rarely loses it.
Agreed. Although Liza getting Alex to sit on the cake is also a go to for me... 😂
@@andykey78 There are so many aren't there? Greg's astonishment at Rhod getting a picture of his Mum. Alex dancing to Jess's music on the harness. The special cuddles. Right, that's it, I'm rewatching from the start again!

It’s really odd; on the face of it, a bunch of comedians/comedy actors playing party games, and “Krypton Factor-like” challenges, doesn’t sound like it would be all that appealing- or at least that it wouldn’t have the sustainability to be consistently entertaining over a long period of time…and yet here we are, 12 series in, and it’s one of the finds of the decade, if not the bloody century.
I mean, for Taskmaster to start off its life on a relatively obscure Sky comedy channel, like Dave; to it becoming so popular, that it was deemed worthy to be picked up by Channel 4 (in the UK), is a pretty great feat- one I can’t remember ever happening before; I’ve seen shows go to Dave, from more popular channels, but not the other way around.
And the fact that the show has not only maintained its quality, but actually got better, from where it started, is a true testament to its greatness; Alex Horne deserves a hell of a lot of credit, for devising the show; and so does whoever decided to bring Greg Davies in, and make him the Taskmaster, because pairing him with Alex was an absolute master stroke.
With the end of every series, you’re always disappointed to lose the previous contestants; but, with the beginning of every new series, you sort of forget that disappointment immediately, and start loving the new batch, which is a pretty fantastic indicator of well the show is working.
The fact that they were also able to still put on several fantastic series, during the pandemic, is another fine example of Taskmaster’s greatness; not all top TV shows managed to pull that off without losing something; and while Taskmaster obviously works better with an audience, the shows they have done without one have still be of an incredibly high standard.
And long may it continue, so we can get even more great moments. 😀
All the best.
Lee's head in hands brought back memories of David saying the earring was mid log, a but too much for him to handle
I'm so glad the single "task" came back, always gold
if this was an attempt to make Mike less attractive it clearly hasn't worked for me 🙈
Yeah, it's really just made farts, hemorrhoids, and casseroles more attractive by association.
Same. Mike in the goggles last week did it for me 👀
I was just thinking the same thing.
The delivery of the line "absolute casserole" might be the greatest line delivery I've ever seen.
In his podcast with Ed, Greg says season 11 is wild and that TWO moments will go down in taskmaster history because he was literally speechless for them. This is probably the first! Can't wait for the second! 😂
This would make an amazing story for "Would I Lie To You" for Mike, "I tried to fart on a television game show and instead audibly popped a hemorrhoid."
He would have to be on Lee's team, of course.
Tick Tock, it's Truth O'Clock! Mike will be on the next series of WILTY, to be shown later in the year.
What a hero. And on national television as well
In all the series this is only time I've seen little Alex Horne actually done in with laughter 🤣🤣🤣
Oh man when he finally pushed out that little “sqeeet!” I could not stop laughing...all that build up for that was just too funny...and then when he says it was an “absolute casserole down there” back in hysterics again...Mike is the best...btw, anyone else calll it at the start of the show that the title would be a quote from Mike? As soon as I saw the title absolute casserole I knew it would be him...I didn’t know why it would be him tho oh lord 😂
"Massaging my inner mike"
I wish they'd included the segment about "his little face", I love his little face...
And on another note, Lee must have been so happy, because this definitely made people forget about his noise from last episode...
Anytime Greg has to lift his glasses to wipe away tears, you know you've won.
This is one of the best moments in all of Taskmaster. I nearly hurt myself laughing so hard. Mike’s commitment and determination. The sound. The reaction of everyone else. It’s all just brilliantly hilarious.
I think this beats Rhod Gilbert hiding in Greg's closet as the most memorable moment in TM history...
Oh definitely, that and having his trousers stolen for the sake of the show are the best bits.
Doesn't beat Joe's Potato Throw Controversy.
TREE WIZARD, OH LOOK THERE'S ANOTHER BALLOON
Rosalind is a f*cking nightmare
These are great, but they are made in the context of the show, Rhod Gilbert literally went to Greg's house, pretended to leave and hid in the closet to record him sleeping, that's a step beyond the rest, and you know, now Wozniak has a casserole in his ass for life, that's commitment.
After hearing this I'm no sure if I want to tyr and pass gas again.
Give that man a prize e for the sheer dedication to produce a toot
"It's an absolute casserole down there" will go down in history, that man is an Icon.
0:47 I think Alex was trying to hint at the champagne in the window - poor Mike!
I just had a terrible day but this completely wiped the slate clean 😂😂😂 Thank you so so much for this!
I’m dying to know what picture Greg showed Alex at the beginning
Mike didn't need to expose himself like that...😭😂😂😂 everyone was fine believing his fart came with a surprise but not that one 😭😭😭😭
TBF if I'd maimed myself for the sake of a television appearance, I'd want it known.
I was crying with laughter last night at this!
It's been a great series with great contestants!
Genuinely the best moment in taskmaster history by one of the most engratiating contestants. Couldnt stop laughing at the casserole comment, and broke Greg and Alex too.
To think he only got one point for this and lost the tiebreak anyway.
I’m not sure I’ve laughed this much for ages!!! Thanks Mike and Taskmaster!
Hands down best TM moment! Loved the balloon bit with him too this season. He's bloody great!
Release the Horne Cut! All 90minutes of Mike alone in the plane trying to fart.
Apparently it was 3.5 hours total. So truly a director's cut.
Bless you for making this its own video.
What a season, Mike "Casserole" Wozniak vs. Greg "Bath Shit Crazy" Davies
I almost passed out because I couldn't breathe last night watching this.
This video will be up there with Bob Mortimer on Wilty in terms of its ability to drag me out of a low moment. Saved.
I relate to this a little too much 😂 Nothing like Chris Rea cracking an egg into Bob's bath, with David aggressively over-analyzing the egg white dissipation and now Mike Wozniak's hemorrhoid casserole to rescue a horrible day
This is the funniest show on tv at the moment. Great concept, Greg and Alex are perfect hosts. And Mike is such a funny guy, very classic comedy.
Greg's and Alex's reaction makes it all the more funnier
one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Everyones reactions were just so precious
I cracked up when I watched it on the programme, and It still cracks me up to see it again.
I clicked on this thinking, it can't possible be as funny the second time. But I was WRONG
It's been three days and I keep coming back to this and laughing my arse off. So to speak.
Saw this during the full show and I just couldn't stop laughing! Mike has ruined casseroles forever! 🤣
It's bang on target, pal!
This is exactly what I needed to see today!!
I love this show. This is probably the hardest I have ever laughed at a segment... My face hurts.
I proper lost it watching this ....laugh out loud hilarious 😂🤣😂🤣! Just what I needed right now!
