mapping of drought tolerance using Bulk segregant method

BSA is a rapid method developed for rapid identification of molecular marker linked to a specific trait or genomic region. Using BSA on RILs developed by crossing IR64 (drought susceptible cultivated variety) with Nootripathu (drought tolerant land race), it was found that RM 212 was linked to leaf rolling and leaf drying drought associated traits.
