    Just bought one in large and done a mere 7 miles to work so far on its very first ride and love it already. I initially thought the bars were too high and was going to take them down by the biggest spacer but now I'm not sure. I'll leave it for now. Anyway it's fast and comfortable, I've dropped the tyres to 40psi and will go tubeless very soon. I'm glad they've gone rigid up front as that's one of the things that swung it for me combined with the fat tyres it's way more pleasant to ride than my old 700c hybrid. It was quite difficult to track one down in the UK. Ended up buying online from 200 miles away but all good with the delivery etc. Can't wait to rack up some miles now.

    Been riding my pennyflake ds3 for a few months now and when I say I've been enjoying it...that would be an understatement (40 years old 6'3" 234 lbs with an XL)😊

    i bought this in large crimson red. its beautiful rides like a dream, and a solid investment. the carbon fork makes its super light and easy to haul around. for the price i give it ******* rating.

    The FX 1 2 3 is more aggressive, the DS is more upright.

      @nohandle641 10 месяцев назад +2

      @@FABM27 Well according to the geometry, yes it is more aggressive but that doesn't mean it's too aggressive. If you can, you should test ride. Also, consider the Domane AL.

    BART, awesome video... very very imformative... I was lucky to bump into a GUY that has one of these, here in CANADA... he paid 1300.00 canadian and had it for a month or so and he has boughr a differnt one because of the colour... so I was fortunate to take it off his hands for 1100..... I have had an E-Bike for a YEAR and 3 months and NOW am in such good shape due to riding every day, this BIKE is just what I need to TEAR around in... my next will be a Mountain Hardtail... maybe with Electric capability as its always good to have if needed... Great Video.

    I bought the 2024 gen 3 with an xl frame and bought it for the no suspension fork to mount a pizza rack so Charlie Chihuahua can come with me.
    I changed the tubes over to the car valve ones and also changed the pedals to Merida ones, a Merida seat, Merida handlebar grips the a handlebar riser with an adjustable neck.
    I'd always been a Specialized 29er rider and am now a Trek enthusiasts and am going to buy a Marlin+ 6 ebike to safely go down dirt tracks.

    The FX is the more aggressive geometry, this is NOT. This is more relaxed, like a 90's mountain bike. But a lovely bike! I test road one few days ago.

    Hi thanks for the nice video.
    Will we have to work harder to make this cycle go faster?
    I don't know why the trek did this? I feel that it was a big mistake by removing the suspension.
    It is true that the weight has been reduced by removing the suspension.The thickness of the tire reduces the performance of the bicycle. I think this bicycle is for long rides. wouldn't be very appropriate 😔.. It has been fitted with big tires to withstand vibrations on bad roads.
    2021-22 trek dual sport lineup is good.
    Thankyou so much ❤❤❤

      i can tell you never rode one, i own this bike and 10 other treks all newer, with and without suspensions. this bike It can do small jumps well, rides on the road very smooth much smoother than any suspension bike. the only thing i can fault its so nice i am worried about scratching it.
