I thought i knew the truth and was saved since age 10, but when i heard Paul Washer preach, it was so hard, but I now am truly saved. I truly now know that it's so much more than a sinners prayer. It's Ezekiel 36.. it's the TRANSFORMING POWER OF GOD that saved me. Not my efforts. And in response to Him changing me, and saving me I live to glorify Him in everything I do.

It's a very powerful message. Paul Washer is one of the best preachers of our times and he is brave enough to tell you the truth. You should listen all of his teachings. Holy Spirit is working in him, there is no doubt about it. If only there were more men like him in our churches.

Paul washer is a testimony of how much little the world has true preachers who speaks the truth of the Gospel, Paul speaks from God by his power and out of his words he speaks the truth.May this truth of the gospel be received by my heart my i understand that i was saved from the warth of God, i deserved everything that Christ went through but through his sacrifice i stand saved, this truth is enough to fuel everything i do. For i am not blessed by any deeds of my own but only because the one who did no evil was crushed on my behalf that i stand blessed.I can never say that there is nothing not to give thanks to this is the most important thing to give thanks to.
My biggest take away is that the only way to understand the Gospel of christ is to understand the mighty warth of God that was supposed to land on me if i understand this then i understand what Christ did on the cross by saving me from that warth may God be praised

I was granted to know what it means and how it feels to be rejected by God and it was the most horrible, paralysing and unimaginable experience I ever had. The feeling of rejection was so hard to stand that I could not even breathe. There is nothing most horrible in life than to be rejected and cursed by God Himself. When on earth, a person in front of the judge is sentenced “guilty” and faces death, if someone comes and pleads the judge to let him be the substitutionary person to die in the place of the guilty and fulfill the sentence for him, and is allowed to do so, he dies but is not the real criminal, he is not called criminal , he is still an innocent person who is paying the sentence for the real one. He doesn’t become a criminal, he becomes an innocent , loving savior. And the real criminal will walk out of the court, not righteous , still a criminal, but a forgiven criminal saved by the grace of an innocent man.!📖✝️❤️🙏

They look at the way Adam was so perfectly made that they focus on that instead of the destructive affects of sin and that Adam also fell from grace after he sinned, his life was no longer perfect but was cursed untill he eventually drifted away from GOD instead of returning to the father he chose to play in his iniquity with Eve and feeling the passions and lusts of the flesh untill he became spiritually dead.

I read your comment my friend and it hurt my heart. I too struggle with fear and anguish over being able to truly repent. Please try to realize that you have to cry out to God, I mean quite literally, cry out to Him, beseech Him, ask Him for exactly what you need. Don't hold back, tell Him in prayer you are afraid if you are, tell Him you don't know what to do, tell Him you want to be saved, tell Him you want to repent and you need Him to give you what it is that you need in order to for you to be able to do this. To take away the complacency, the apathy, the pride, the hard heartedness. Remember, it is He that will accomplish these things in you, but you must seek Him. Seek Him fervently, meaning pray honestly, pray from your heart. Neither you or I will ever be able to repent of our sins without His redeeming work in us, therefore we must ask Him. I know you said that you have done that and I truly understand there must be times when you feel there is no hope. Please keep trying, be as the woman Jesus speaks about who persistently petitioned the judge for justice until she finally got it. I say this as much to you as I do myself because I struggle with this too. My heart goes out to you friend, please put your faith and trust in Jesus, you cannot fix this. Neither can I, only He can.

On 51:39, "Abraham called that place YHVH (Jehovah) Jireh" (Genesis 22:14).
Yet, hundreds of years later, Jehovah told Moses, "I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as God Almighty, but by my name YHVH (Jehovah) I did not make myself known to them" (Exodus 6:3).

I'm trying to be Christian (maybe I am) but I struggle to grasp the idea of our sins being imputed to Christ or his righteousness being imputed to us. I am somewhat able to comprehend one explanation, but I'm not sure it's accurate:
That our faith in Christ gives us the space/time/motivation/means to actually become righteous in the hereafter.
    Thoughts?

    • @chloesarkis8837
      @chloesarkis8837 6 месяцев назад

Hey, it's all about the significance of the blood. God created us that way. Blood represents life in the spiritual realm. This is why in the old testament, when people sinned, they spiritually died. In order for them to be alive again ( spiritually) they need to kill a living thing in order to take its life. However since we humans are much more important and valuable than animals, the life of an animal would bring us back to life spiritually, but only for a small period of time. We can imagine than a person, when giving a sacrifice, clings to the life of that sacrifice. So for animal sacrifices, we'd be clinging to that animal's life, which isn't enough to fully redeem a human being's dead life. Then comes Jesus. Since He was perfect, He was the perfect sacrifice. By dying on the cross as a sacrifice, He offers us His ETERNAL life. This is why we can now have an eternal life and not a short temporary earthly life like the animal's. So to answer your question, all the "benefits" of living a perfect sinless life like Jesus, are related to the value of His blood, that was shed for us to cling unto its life. So by accepting His sacrifice and by clinging more and more to Him, we get to benefit from all that His pure blood gets to offer us. God now sees us righteous because when He looks at us, He now sees in us the life of Jesus to which we had access through the blood shed by his sacrifice.
I hope this was helpful, I tried my best :)

I need some help with this...If Jesus asked for all the debts, then why did he ask "Why have you forsaken me?"...and if our sins were imputed onto Christ, who can He remain the spotless lamb of God...would Jesus then be tainted with our sin?? I ask in sincerity, not blasphemy.

    • @Cloudharte
      @Cloudharte 2 года назад

He didn’t personally sin. He was treated the way every sinner who He died for deserved.
Essentially the LORD Jesus Christ took the infinite suffering of hell. Repeatedly. For EVERY sinner who He purchased.
He didn’t sin himself. Imputation is to treat as if it belonged to you.
Jesus was imputed sin. The believer is imputed righteousness. What’s more. His perfect life sacrificed this way is the true sacrifice that never needs to be repeated
It cleansed the believer from all their sin. Actual cleansing and actual dealing with the guilt. God has dealt with the punishment.
God has created real righteousness. The matter was settled with Almighty Finality by the savior.
He commands you and I to repent and believe.
      Even you.
      Even I

  • @Myjesus-1

Jesus didn't die on the cross for everyone who believes in him.
He taught that obedience is required to enter his kingdom:
    Matthew 12:46-50 says:
"While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.”
He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers.
For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”
    Jesus also warned:
    Matthew 5:30
"And if your right hand causes you to stumble, (sin) cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell."
Remember also that the five foolish virgins believed in Jesus, but he rejected them.

Jesus also said that on that day many will say Lord Lord didn't i cast out demons in your name, heal the sick in your name etc.. and He said to them depart from me you workers of iniquity, The only ones getting in at the ones who keep their ear to His heart, have a close relationship and do the will of His Father. To know the will of God requires intimacy, dying to self, loving Him more than anything. And many want the spotlight in service but few want the humble contrition of crucifixion of the flesh daily to seek the will of God the Father.

    • @lavendermoon3342

I cannot understand how people think that because they pray the sinners prayer that they don't have to follow anything but the 10 commandments. And they don't want to truly follow them.
Anything the Lord said You will NOT means we shouldn't even look at it or listen to it. But we watch the old westerns on tv, full of murder and hatred , robbery and rape, and defrauding others and think because we aren't doing it that we are innocent. We are not even supposed to look on those things. We should WANT to give our lives consecrated to Him for His use not out of duty but out of heartfelt devotion and gratefulness for His love.

    • @imago9059

The Holy Spirit is the one that works in us to help cleanse us of our unrighteousness. We can follow Law as much as we want but without change of heart Law is works and we do not get saved by works "lest anyone should boast". We are saved by Grace through faith in Our Lord Jesus Christ. Plus righteousness was imputed to us like Paul Washer says based upon the work of Our Lord Jesus.

Isa. 53:12 ;1 Peter2: 24 ; Matt.8:17. Jesus bore on Him not in Him our sins, He never defiled His Spirit in Him with sins!

Your definition of repenting needs clarification.
You agree with God in your heart and mind about your condidtion.
    Good.
Now this is the work of the Father, to believe on Him whom the Father has sent.

I do not agree with, "I am holier than you" bashing- but if what you speak of is a person whom proclaims the true gospel- well you're anger makes sense and I am glad that it provoked something in you.

Because God can't see you through Jesus Christ's blood like when Father looks at those in Christ.
God said without blood their is no forgiveness, that's why Jesus gave us his pure blood, so now God's wrath is replaced by blessings and the curses are taken away.

It is the shed blood and resurrection sitting at the right hand of God...The Godman, Very God and Very man who sits there waiting until Grace has ended(last person enters the body of Christ Eph.3 hidden in God before the foundations of the earth The Mystery) and judgement on the Jews and world begins.

With all due respect, if your relationship with Christ is not to be expired by fear, and instead, made of the strongest element that we have not yet encountered (LOVE ALL HIS CHILDREN MORE THAN YOURSELF), they will NOT be ashamed they will not be afraid they will not worry about what men and women will think of them because they're strong hold is with God because they are leaning fully on God they will not be ashamed they went there with good intention and it will continue to do that until they die and that's true Faith with all due respect I do listen to you but please consider the possibility.
They will have angels protecting them. Tey will die in the fire before letting fear bring on the sin, shame.

No, I don't because their is no point in doing so. It is impossible for a Christian to convince a non-believer to accept Christ. It takes a movement of God to do that. 90% of the so called Atheists I deal with are dogmatic, arrogant, rude and want nothing but to stomp out Christianity in place of their beliefs.

27:51 I think it's interesting that even when Jesus Christ became a curse for us that he could still see GOD that his eyes were still able to peer into heaven before he died because he was sinless.
Before Adam sinned and was cast out of the garden of eden he was also sinless doesn't it seem funny that our culture takes the sinless perfection Adam instead of GOD's son Jesus Christ.

The sign of Yeshua at the cross. They
put a sign on the cross above Him. It gave
His name and the crime He had committed,
“Yeshua of Nazareth, and King of the Jews”
in Latin, Greek, and Hebrew. In the Hebrew,
there are four words to say this. The first letter
of those four words is Yod, Hey, Vav, Hey. That
spells the name of God announced to Moses
at the burning bush. God said that was His memorial name that was not be taken in vain.
God also told Moses that he was to declare “I AM”
had sent him to the children of Israel.
When Yeshua spoke of His future death, He
said that when He was lifted up (the crucifixion) that they would see I AM. Yeshua was saying that He was the God who spoke to and sent
    Moses to Egypt.
When opportunity to speak with my Jewish brethren,
I would ask them if they believe that God sent
Moses-do they believe that God gave him signs
to confirm him being sent. When they answer
yes, I then ask why don’t they believe in Yeshua
then; He did the same signs.

@171Family Check out this website carm( . )org/questions/about-jesus/why-did-jesus-cry-out-my-god-my-god-why-have-you-forsaken-me ..your 2nd question...The punishment for our sins were imputed to Jesus although He never sinned himself while on earth which satisfied & pleased God but it did not taint Him. He just took our place and had to die because the wages of sin is death. Also going by scripture, He later rose from the grave bc He never sinned Himself (death could not hold Him!)

@@ianpaterson4956 The Calvinist wouldn't affirm such a thing of the Bible didn't say so. In Acts 4 it says God predetermined Jesus to die by the Romans and Jews, however they still are morally responsible for killing the Son of God. The thing is that, even though it may look like a contradiction for us, it's not. There are others things in the Bible we can't comprehend now, but we will in eternity (like the two natures of Christ).
