I just started a new job as accountant in startup company,, I am having almost 3 years of experience in A/P from international company. Once I had a discussion with my colleagues, they receive the same salary which I was offered and they are fresh graduates. I felt I am underpaid,, now I am actively looking for another job but I don’t know how to answer the question about the reason of leaving! And I just joined there.
For me, I've been always lucky with my bosses, but not with coworkers. Those back stabbers exist every place I go. They make work place hostile, yet they are pretty darn good at acting innocent in front of upper management.
You are very right. It happened to me. I quit before i got another one. My blood pressure was getting very high so i chose health over waiting to get a new one.
@@TheFinancialController Although i am from another country your teaching videos are very easy to understand. I have an accounting interview to do next week and so i have been watching your videos as a brush up.
Thanks for this video. Currently I am considering changing jobs primarily by reasons 2 and 5. My current job has a great job environment and a good boss, but in the 10 years there has only been two open positions to advance and too little opportunities to learn and grow. Recently I told my boss that I was finishing my CPA exams and that I wanted a better opportunity. 1 year from today I expect to have a better position in my company or a better another one.
I don't know why I'm watching this. I literally started my job three weeks ago and one of them was a half week lol. Also, how long after being employed do you think it is appropriate to resign?
Hi I really enjoy your video. I'm a recent graduate. I kept changing jobs this 6 months and I never settled down. Now I have a good offer but I still worry about unstable things that make me change jobs frequently. What are you suggestions for recent graduates settling down in a work place?
I say before you take an offer study your future manager and the job description really well and try to decide this: 1) is this a job where I will stay minimum 1 year? Does this job teach me what I need to reach my goal? Also it’s important to define your 5-year goal (example, I wanna be a financial reporting manager making $95k in 5 years).
Hi Bill, my boss just helped me to land a new role in different department within our company and I am about to start in two weeks. But I can’t stop thinking of looking for opportunities at big 4. Would you say it’s ok to start my new role while applying for big 4? Or just keep trying in big 4 and worry about that dilemma when I actually get the offer? One one hand I don’t want my boss think I’m an opportunist but on the other hand I really want to grow my career development by any chance. Will this be a bad reputation for my career?
Do you think it’s valid to quit if the working hours are too much ? Like working 19-21 hours a day ? And if managers are still unfair despite the effort you put it ?
Thanks to this video I realized how miserable I was at my previous job. I quit and now I have the best job ever!! Thanks, Bill!
Pinned to the top! Amazing Leo!!

I hear ya!

I know how that feels. I hope you landed somewhere nice

Same here I quit my job before landing a new one for the same reason as @webby. Love the videos:)
I finally decided to make the move after watching this video. Best decision I ever made. Great video. 👍 👍 👍.
Jeff best of luck!

Makes sense, and best of luck! Try to stay if you like your boss, but only if they offer a good opportunity to advance
Great advices, thank you
Thanks 🙏

:) ok 😌 thank you

My rule of thumb is to stay one year minimum so my resume won’t look odd. Except one time it was a nightmare and I left after 6 months
@@TheFinancialController Thanks for the advice!
Hi Bill, wondering if it's a good idea to mention one of those reasons during an interview questions as I believe we may experience some of them :)
I wouldn't mention these. Make it more about learning and growth opportunities
1-3 is proof of the old saying people leave bosses not companies
Absolutely
I quited my job last month. I'm in between jobs now. Its hard to find new one this time. How can I overcome the hard time?
Sorry to hear that. Please use this time to learn more about your profession by watching RUclips videos and reading.

My boss is constantly giving me the stink eye. LOL

Yes! But always find your next job first
Hii, can you tell me about legal cases about external auditor. Except enron case and royal bank case. I could not find any external auditor cases
Hi there, could you clarify what you mean? Thanks :)
What about a micromanaging boss constantly nitpicks and check your work more than anybody else's work😡😡😡😡😡😡
That too :)
To those who can relate to this video, it's time to quit your job! Lol.
Thanks Tyler!
TIL I like being a hamsters 🐹 but unfortunately role isn’t.
