Jessi said it is most likely that those allegations are false regarding the sexual abuse and porn watching that Ruby made, and that even if the child admits to it, it's because he was brainwashed. Just like he told the 911 caller that is was his fault.
I’m hoping that as well.. I’ve said it over and over again. he had an out and he took it.. he knew what happened behind those 4 walls before connexions even happened.. he failed those babies.. and to hear Ruby blame R for things I don’t even want to repeat makes me sick to my stomach..
I wasn’t sure how much he knew or if Ruby cut him off before the majority of the abuse took place; but if someone involved is saying he could have done more, than I hope for the sake of everyone, he’s not allowed in their lives, at the very least.
I’ve been following Bonnie’s channel for a while and I’ve watched 8 passengers a little bit because it’s her sister, however I didn’t find them as likeable, like something is off. I have a feeling that Ruby is a control freak. Kevin seems like a really nice and soft guy who doesn’t argue (or dare to argue) with his wife. I feel like Ruby was a very tough parent before (like a stereotypical asian parent), but the abuse started after Kevin left. Maybe Kevin felt emotionally abused as well, who knows... Sometimes, the most you can do is to save yourself and that seems like what he did. I guess my 6th sense was right about Ruby and 8 passengers. Again, I’m just saying what I felt, I don’t know the real story behind this, but Kevin seemed like nice guy.

@@nessad01It's kind of a natural knee jerk reaction to blame everyone involved. We all feel guilty when kids are abused. We all regret not knowing and not being there. Seems to be best to just focus on making sure all those kids are cared for and listened to. Those kids might need to be voicing their disgust with everyone that they feel failed them. Don't argue with them, just let them know, you will be fighting to protect them harder than ever. Rebuilding trust relationships with family is vital. Let them ask you anything they want to know. Answer honestly and don't make excuses for anyone. They are probably plagued with self guilt blaming themselves for causing all this. The brainwashing will have lingering effects on their self esteem. Listen to them when they repeat the negative brainwashing labels Jodi and Ruby pounded into their heads. Show them how to let that go and focus on the good they have in their hearts. Keep in mind that this will take time and these kids will need love and positive guidence for a long time to slowly be released from this stigma. Prayers to all those kids and their extended family too. I hope Ruby and Kevin can truly get help too, but never again let them near those kids. And keep a close eye on Jodi, she is a very deeply disturbed sociopath. She will be a repeat offender, I can assure you on that.
Anyone who watched 8 passengers should Not be surprised that Kevin let his family down. He seemed like a passive detached father and husband. How do you go 13 months without seeing or at least talking to your four children held hostage by a mother that you knew had become unbalanced and in the control by a very sick women. If you guys would read more into it Kevin’s lawyer said that ruby made him cut contact with the whole family including ruby. She said “I will contact you. You don’t contact me” I do believe that Kevin should not get any access to them kids but he’s not as bad as ruby and as bad as yall are making him out to be. My Brother SA-ed me as a child That did not make him any less my brother. MY mother physically and emotionally abused me that did not make her any less my mother. When my mother had Alzheimer's and could not remember what she had done I was there for her.

Had I hung on to that kind of hate I would have missed out on an amazing year with my mom who by the time I showed up at the hospital didn't know how I was related to her much less that she abused me. I got more validation and happy memories with my mom in that last year of her life then I did my entire childhood. If I would have hung on to that hate hate I would have robbed myself. I understand not everyone is able to to do that. Had she not had Alzheimer's I don't know if I would have gone back.
I know lots of people CPS failed. It obviously isn’t as trustworthy or effective in helping the child victims as well as everyone needs and expects it to be. I think I heard on the Law and Crime Network say that CPS only left a note on the door. What kind of child protective service is that?!

I think I can hand on my heart I could have done more, and I think the family now with hindsight would say the same, luckily my situation didn’t get to where theirs did, but my voice could have been louder, I could have continued making noise, wrote more letters etc etc, I know what a horrid situation they are in and I don’t hold them to that account, but when we know of abuse there is always more we can do. My heart is broken for these children. I saw that scene when she left her 6-year-old daughter without lunch at school because the child forgot to pack her own lunch 💔 I don't want to accuse the sisters, but in the vlogs there were so many signs of abuse. Therefore, the father is also responsible.

Kevin failed his kids. I saw an interview with Kevens attorney who stated Kevin didn’t have contact with his kids for over a year because Ruby didn’t want him to. Keven needs a spine. Jodi has a history of destroying families. She lost her therapist license for awhile for doing this. She is a sociopath and needs to serve jail time for many years.

We all know that wouldn't have happened. Her refusal to allow him to see the children should've triggered his own trip to family court.... didn't happen.😢 This bull crap about being under Ruby's edict to stay away to SAVE THE MARRIAGE is insane. As someone who's family members have commited crimes, I know first hand what you are going through. I've felt that hurt, that pain, anger, and confusion. I remember my cousin's being all over the news, their faces in the newspapers. I felt like I was in a constant state of grieving, shock, and shame for months on end. It was bad enough knowing what my cousin's did but when it feels like the whole world know too and are judging you for their actions, it was extremely difficult and something you will never understand unless you go through it yourself. My elderly grandmother was verbally abused on a bus and threatened because someone recognised her and knew my cousin's were her grandsons. We lived in fear for months on end and felt like we were constantly looking over our shoulders. Despite this, we have pulled through as a family and things are better now. Like Bonnie, I refuse to be held accountable for my cousin's crimes and I moved on with my life because I deserve to and their actions are not a reflection on me. Things will get better Bonnie, I promise. I know you and your family have a good heart and you are good people. I've seen that over the years watching your vlogs and family, and many others see this too ❤ Sending prayers and love to you and all of your family affected by this. My closest friend's oldest son was in their home when the police came to arrest him and was later charged and convicted of rape and 1st degree murder of a woman, I know all the feelings she had as I was by her side through everything, it changed her, but the worst were the reporters nastiness towards her, so we devised a different route to leave the courtroom, I know exactly what you're saying.

As a child brought up in an abusive household, I used to hate everyone in my family and my life for not standing up for me. As an adult I understand completely you not being able to step in legally. Things could have gotten much worse if you had "broke down doors". You did all that you can. Be the strong person and hug your family and hold them close. These types of cases are the hardest you'll face as a family, but I know you're a good person who will do everything in your power to help, even if it seems minimal to outsiders, as someone who was abused as a child, just know that you are doing enough.

I remember from the vlogs when Ruby moved her family into a new home & area away from everyone. You could tell how isolated the kids became. They collaborated with a few Utah families & featured in each others vlogs, also the kids became friends. You could feel the immediate shift. Ruby’s kids expressed not having friends & at one point homeschooled. I don’t know how your own parent can be so cruel. 🖤

I initially thought “why didn’t Ruby’s family help her, they just cut her out of the family”. But then I thought about my mom’s family. Her brother’s mentality is so twisted and cruel that we have cut him out too. Trying to talk to him was a waste of time and they end up arguing. As a parent, I cannot even begin to comprehend how anyone would be OK having no contact with any of your children for any length of time. Thank you for speaking out. Family members constantly fighting for us and even us become homeless from my abuser he still got joint custody and still abuses my siblings and tries to contact and control my children. Someone in my close family abused their children, and they're in prison now. 15 years to life. The news of the arrest and what followed was a complete shock as we live out of state and had no idea. im so sorry bonnie. i cannot believe the idiocy that's coming from some people. you all did everything you could and that's all you could do. i was in an eerily similar situation when i was a child, and my aunt (who is an ANGEL on this earth) tried everything she could to get me out of the situation and it was extremely difficult. the legal system gets very tricky when children are involved. thank you for all that you did to save those babies. they are safe now. ignore everyone else and know in your heart you are all good people put into a bad situation.

I’m so sorry you are going through this. As a childhood trauma survivor I know you have worked so hard to help the kids. What people don’t understand is how much a person can report an issue and nothing is done. I have reported family and CPS laughed at me on the phone. It takes a lot to have someone truly investigated when family or friends report. It took my dad 10 years to get me out of a horrible situation with my mother. He didn’t know what was truly happening to his kids he just knew it wasn’t the best for us because we were told to lie or have consequences. You just never know. Just know that you can feel all of the emotions during this time and it’s valid. I am thinking of you and your family in this situation. I’m looking forward to watching all of your videos!

From little Eve being sick in her bed and then Ruby saying she made the little one sleep on the cold bathroom floor. How when they went hammock camping and Ruby saying it was too cold outside so she and Keving went to sleep in the car leaving the children to suffer outside. Ruby's selfishness knew no bounds. Kevin went right along with it all. Then he disappeared with no contact with his children shows how little he too cared about them. I'm glad you pointed Kevin out. He needs to be arrested as well. The three of them need to be locked up for a very, very long time. I hope that the Law makes this happen. I hope you and your sisters and brother, and your parents continue to post. My nieces went through something very similar. We knew my sister was battling mental illness, but she pushed us away and didn’t allow them to talk to us. The oldest niece went onto college and started telling us about the things she and her siblings experienced while she was there. She kept on saying that they need to get away from their mom. My other niece that was still living with her mom started making posts on snap chat about taking her life. I saw that and alerted the police. They went there and the house was in awful conditions. Very disturbing and nasty. The kids were taken immediately and never went back. I pray that these kids heal from their trauma and that they are safe and well taken care of from this day forward.

Jessi said it is most likely that those allegations are false regarding the sexual abuse and porn watching that Ruby made, and that even if the child admits to it, it's because he was brainwashed. Just like he told the 911 caller that is was his fault.

I’ve been following Bonnie’s channel for a while and I’ve watched 8 passengers a little bit because it’s her sister, however I didn’t find them as likeable, like something is off. I have a feeling that Ruby is a control freak. Kevin seems like a really nice and soft guy who doesn’t argue (or dare to argue) with his wife. I feel like Ruby was a very tough parent before (like a stereotypical asian parent), but the abuse started after Kevin left. Maybe Kevin felt emotionally abused as well, who knows... Sometimes, the most you can do is to save yourself and that seems like what he did.
I guess my 6th sense was right about Ruby and 8 passengers. Again, I’m just saying what I felt, I don’t know the real story behind this, but Kevin seemed like nice guy.

We all feel guilty when kids are abused.
We all regret not knowing and not being there.
Seems to be best to just focus on making sure all those kids are cared for and listened to.
Those kids might need to be voicing their disgust with everyone that they feel failed them.
Don't argue with them, just let them know, you will be fighting to protect them harder than ever.
Rebuilding trust relationships with family is vital.
Let them ask you anything they want to know.
Answer honestly and don't make excuses for anyone.
They are probably plagued with self guilt blaming themselves for causing all this. The brainwashing will have lingering effects on their self esteem.
Listen to them when they repeat the negative brainwashing labels Jodi and Ruby pounded into their heads.
Show them how to let that go and focus on the good they have in their hearts.
Keep in mind that this will take time and these kids will need love and positive guidence for a long time to slowly be released from this stigma.
Prayers to all those kids and their extended family too.
I hope Ruby and Kevin can truly get help too, but never again let them near those kids.
And keep a close eye on Jodi, she is a very deeply disturbed sociopath. She will be a repeat offender, I can assure you on that.

If you guys would read more into it Kevin’s lawyer said that ruby made him cut contact with the whole family including ruby. She said “I will contact you. You don’t contact me” I do believe that Kevin should not get any access to them kids but he’s not as bad as ruby and as bad as yall are making him out to be. My mom ended up with Alzheimer's I was out of her life for 5 years. Had I hung on to that kind of hate I would have missed out on an amazing year with my mom who by the time I showed up at the hospital didn't know how I was related to her much less that she abused me. I got more validation and happy memories with my mom in that last year of her life then I did my entire childhood. If I would have hung on to that hate hate I would have robbed myself.

Kevin failed his kids. I saw an interview with Kevens attorney who stated Kevin didn’t have contact with his kids for over a year because Ruby didn’t want him to. Keven needs a spine. Jodi has a history of destroying families. She lost her therapist license for awhile for doing this. She is a sociopath and needs to serve jail time for many years.

As someone who's family members have commited crimes, I know first hand what you are going through. I've felt that hurt, that pain, anger, and confusion. I remember my cousin's being all over the news, their faces in the newspapers. I felt like I was in a constant state of grieving, shock, and shame for months on end. It was bad enough knowing what my cousin's did but when it feels like the whole world know too and are judging you for their actions, it was extremely difficult and something you will never understand unless you go through it yourself. My elderly grandmother was verbally abused on a bus and threatened because someone recognised her and knew my cousin's were her grandsons. We lived in fear for months on end and felt like we were constantly looking over our shoulders.
Despite this, we have pulled through as a family and things are better now. Like Bonnie, I refuse to be held accountable for my cousin's crimes and I moved on with my life because I deserve to and their actions are not a reflection on me. Things will get better Bonnie, I promise.
I know you and your family have a good heart and you are good people. I've seen that over the years watching your vlogs and family, and many others see this too ❤

My closest friend's oldest son was in their home when the police came to arrest him and was later charged and convicted of rape and 1st degree murder of a woman, I know all the feelings she had as I was by her side through everything, it changed her, but the worst were the reporters nastiness towards her, so we devised a different route to leave the courtroom, I know exactly what you're saying.

As a child brought up in an abusive household, I used to hate everyone in my family and my life for not standing up for me. As an adult I understand completely you not being able to step in legally. Things could have gotten much worse if you had "broke down doors". You did all that you can. Be the strong person and hug your family and hold them close. These types of cases are the hardest you'll face as a family, but I know you're a good person who will do everything in your power to help, even if it seems minimal to outsiders, as someone who was abused as a child, just know that you are doing enough.

I remember from the vlogs when Ruby moved her family into a new home & area away from everyone. You could tell how isolated the kids became. They collaborated with a few Utah families & featured in each others vlogs, also the kids became friends. You could feel the immediate shift. Ruby’s kids expressed not having friends & at one point homeschooled. I don’t know how your own parent can be so cruel. 🖤

I initially thought “why didn’t Ruby’s family help her, they just cut her out of the family”. But then I thought about my mom’s family. Her brother’s mentality is so twisted and cruel that we have cut him out too. Trying to talk to him was a waste of time and they end up arguing. Her brother has now stopped answering her and seeing her. Sometimes the family cannot help as much as they’d like

As a parent, I cannot even begin to comprehend how anyone would be OK having no contact with any of your children for any length of time. Thank you for speaking out. Someone in my close family abused their children, and they're in prison now. 15 years to life. The news of the arrest and what followed was a complete shock as we live out of state and had no idea. im so sorry bonnie. i cannot believe the idiocy that's coming from some people. you all did everything you could and that's all you could do. i was in an eerily similar situation when i was a child, and my aunt (who is an ANGEL on this earth) tried everything she could to get me out of the situation and it was extremely difficult. the legal system gets very tricky when children are involved. thank you for all that you did to save those babies. they are safe now. ignore everyone else and know in your heart you are all good people put into a bad situation.

I’m so sorry you are going through this. As a childhood trauma survivor I know you have worked so hard to help the kids. What people don’t understand is how much a person can report an issue and nothing is done. I have reported family and CPS laughed at me on the phone. It takes a lot to have someone truly investigated when family or friends report. It took my dad 10 years to get me out of a horrible situation with my mother. He didn’t know what was truly happening to his kids he just knew it wasn’t the best for us because we were told to lie or have consequences. You just never know. Just know that you can feel all of the emotions during this time and it’s valid. I am thinking of you and your family in this situation. I’m looking forward to watching all of your videos!

I was going to post about your Mom's physical breakdown. I knew it was because of a "family situation". I knew it was probably Ruby. I cannot fathom how terrible your Mom and Dad are feeling. Please give them both a long loving hug from me. I wish I could embrace you and your sisters and Beau. It's truly hard to believe how Ruby could treat her children so viciously. From little Eve being sick in her bed and then Ruby saying she made the little one sleep on the cold bathroom floor. How when they went hammock camping and Ruby saying it was too cold outside so she and Keving went to sleep in the car leaving the children to suffer outside. Ruby's selfishness knew no bounds. Kevin went right along with it all. Then he disappeared with no contact with his children shows how little he too cared about them. I'm glad you pointed Kevin out. He needs to be arrested as well. The three of them need to be locked up for a very, very long time. I hope that the Law makes this happen. I hope you and your sisters and brother, and your parents continue to post. I know you all will be embracing the children, they have a long road ahead to heal. They will be scarred for life because of their parents. I have watched your videos for years. They gave me comfort. I wrote your Mom that watching her family was so comforting to me as I don't have family of my own. It was lovely. My heart breaks for all of you. You will get through this. My nieces went through something very similar. We knew my sister was battling mental illness, but she pushed us away and didn’t allow them to talk to us. The oldest niece went onto college and started telling us about the things she and her siblings experienced while she was there. She kept on saying that they need to get away from their mom. My other niece that was still living with her mom started making posts on snap chat about taking her life. I saw that and alerted the police. They went there and the house was in awful conditions. Very disturbing and nasty. The kids were taken immediately and never went back. I pray that these kids heal from their trauma and that they are safe and well taken care of from this day forward.
