Don't take it so personally. Children don't have to love their parents 100% all the time. They can still love them even though they don't agree with their parents at times. Kids have to learn to love other stuff also. Otherwise it's chaos and maybe bias.

I just turned 57 and saw this for the first time on a recommended video. When a kid says certain things that are well bad, play their game, I would tell him/her, well the only time I like you is when your sleeping! It’s funny how fast they change their tune lol
