They lifted the covid restrictions and I flew the next day. It was cold but so worth it.

@@easy_3d Music is very subjective, makes it hard to strike the balance. If a video needs something or is fast paced I'll put something in but I get a lot people asking to hear the plane working so I try and feed that into all the video. I also get comments asking for me to be more detailed and descriptive in my flights. So I talk.

YES! Have fun, the BM V2 is a great plane. I just put the skis back on for the winter flying season. Would love the try the floats one day.

Thanks! It was so nice to get out and fly after a long while. I used 4 cameras actually but the two onboard the plane both froze up so I had to use what I had. Sunday's video which will come out soon looks good.
Glad you were able to get out flying. Great to hear and share in your enthusiasm! Looks like a sweet flying plane. I'm planning a first fly off our frozen snow covered lake here in Michigan this week. My old trusty HK Skipper and the maiden flight of my new Eflite Twin Otter on floats are on tap. I set the Otter up with differential thrust and don't plan on putting the rudder on even for water use. Nice flying.

I want to the Otter. In the next video I show the reverse/differential thrust. It works but would be way better on water with floats.
Great flying André! I had to order one this morning after seeing Stuart’s video. Hehe! We’ve got lots of snow here in the Adks too. I think we’ll be ski flying for a while!👍

Thanks Juan, 3S testing is coming. The weather has not been great this weekend, so I'll try during the week with some 3S 4000 packs. I suspect it will fly but the plane will be on the edge of its envelope for performance and recovery power.
Has the undercarriage wire gauge been increased? The nose and main gear on my V1 bent after only a few landings and they weren't particularly hard. I remember this being mentioned on one of your earlier podcasts with Steve.

There have been a few changes, plate and so on. I had similar issues with the yellow one. Still early on in my flights but those 2 were in some cold temps.
Beautiful? - I guess its in the eye of the beholder. It does look better with skiis but with the stock wheels it looks like a kiddies tricycle with a wing strapped to it
