still thinking about the fact that SM really let amber be herself and broke the stereotype look for girls in Korea. she still remains one of my all time inspirations. i love amber.
They choose her because she looked like a popular "tomboy" idol in China. It was a power move lol.

Amber was scouted in a Chinatown by sm when they were looking for a tomboyish idol for their upcoming group.
F(x) was the most experimental and unique girl group of all time. We had Luna's extremely powerful vocals, Amber's powerful rapping and amazing vocals, Krystal's cool aura and delicate vocals, Sulli's visuals, sweet vocals and elegence, and Victoria's sharp and powerful dancing all mixed into one girl group.

Can’t you believe this is a 10-year-old song? I mean everything is so on point from the song, the dance to their makeup, hairstyles and outfits. Krystal’s layer hair is one of the most unique hairstyle i’ve ever seen. Only Krystal can make that hair looking so fabulous. Nu ABO also created a lot of wonderful moments and memories because I fell for Sulli when I saw her performing on their Nu ABO’s comeback stage on MuBank. I miss them.
that's the reason why fx was not very famous and by that I mean snsd famous, they were famous but not like EXTREMELY FAMOUS because the people were not able to understand the style at that time, today every group is doing what fx introduced to the kpop industry

Why it was the wrong time ?
IF 2nd generation of k pop girls debut this last year or this year, THEY would massacre kpop girls of today. Too bad they were in the wrong timeline.
But seriously, the most eclectic group in Kpop. They debuted with the concept of being an experimental girl group, but what sets them apart from other groups is that they can change style, but their music still feels like them. Their comebacks aren't cute or promoted on the concept of being sexy. Their just themselves which is why their one of the most relatable groups in industry. And they were doing edm and electric before everybody was throwing it in their songs. Shinee Obama approved. I'm sure he'd approve f(x) too.

@@imjogijogi9267 - Um. Maybe? Kind of..... Sulli officially left in 2015 I think, to focus on acting (according to label's official statement (but don't ever trust the labels official statement in kpop)).
...and I think Victoria moved back to China (not 100% sure), but she is like 32 or something (and looking great), which probably AFAIK made her the oldest active girl group member anyway. Maybe she just retired?
The other 3 are still technically active, but they haven't released anything since Victoria left. Fingers crossed, because they still have a pretty decent range just between the three of them.
Fx deserved so much better.

Honestly!! Luna's vocal ability is no joke and to think that she was mediocre when she joined SM is unfathomable. She's definitely one of the best singers that SM has produced and it is such a shame that they let it go to waste. Sure she was in some amazing musicals but she could've been up there with the likes of Taeyeon and Ailee to name a few. However, she's still young and tbh she's been through a lot so I am not too worried about never hearing that flawless vibrato again!

@@jjba3571 the most successful soloists from SM groups - Taeyeon, Baekhyun, Jonghyun,... are a part of the vocal line of their respective group. Their "visual" (cos beauty is objective) may have lots of fans but in all honesty, aren't outstanding in anything (Siwon, Yoona, Irene at acting, modeling,... ). SM can't control whom people choose to like. They promoted Kai like crazy and now Baekhyun is the million-seller soloist etc.

I'm sorry for what I'm gonna say. I was knew to Kpop when i first saw this video and the other kpop video. Kpop was so unique and knew to me. When i first saw amber, i thought she was a boy. She had a deep voice and short hair. She looked really handsome So i thought she was a guy. But then i thought she might be a girl cause she was in a girl group and was wearing high heels. I was 11 i was knew to the internet so i didn't knew how to check her profile. It took me like a year to know her gender and the reason it took me long too, is cause i didn't check them that much. @@micke_mango The song is supposed to match their mv and their universe which the sm groups share and now it's threatned by the Black Mamba. Nu evo is also mentioned in EXO's dicography. Nu evo means new evolution, but in the other hand Nu abo means new blood (a b and o are blood tipes). Besides this the words alone don't make much sense if you don't know about their project and aes.
