Facts. I play a lot of valorant and played ESEA Open in CS GO. There is literally a button in CS that you can bind to mute your voice settings entirely. I wish in league you could bind a button that (In solo q at least) mutes all and then un mutes all automatically. That way I can mute when they say dumb shit but unmute after a team fight to see what they wanna do.
@Epic Gamer yes i feel like you are more likely to find chill people in valorant than in league, you press a button and you can say Hi and stuff without having to type, Also the "nt" culture in valorant plays a Big role on the community, you just say nt and try ti keep the morale of the team up, i wish league had voice chat tbh
Unfortunately probably not because his teams are usually bad, he is not a great communicator in game and struggles to spread his lead around the map... his teams basically play towards him and if they don’t they are essentially useless.
No he will after this season he set to be the most paid player in the history of League. I think many orgs in China are willing to even buy him a 10 story building in korea just for him to play there.
@@ktjs2000 Rookie isn't washed, Summer 2020 was one of his best splits ever. Faker is the washed one and LCK midlane is nonexistent past Showmaker/BDD. Neither is Knight overrated for slightly underperforming at one tournament - Chovy also wasn't super impressive at his first worlds.
@@ktjs2000 i can tell you dont watch LPL at all. Even when IG failed to qualify for worlds last year hes still regarded as top 3 mid in LPL. It was Knight> yagao = rookie, before yagao slumped.
Silent Scrims are important and so are vision scrims... because it teaches you to anticipate the game and what is gonna happen. Every team should do them.
It may be a reach but you can link parts of it to maybe because players mostly in the west see the game as "entertainment" or a show and usually you always feel the need to say something and avoid dead air when doing a show or entertaining.
MESSIIIIII! That's literally, like in Barca, where the staff would tell the players to make sure never to get messi injured in training, or else the team couldn't win without messi.
U can legit hear that everything LS says comes from Korean coaches and isnt his opinions ...... and its not strange he thinks they dont need coms when thats been the korean way of playing since s3
Thing is if everyone is on the same page you'll need minimal communication. There's no need for Korean players and for the most part Chinese players to tell each other what to do all game, just communicate useful information for like 5 seconds and carry on playing the game. Sounds wonderful compared to the shitshow comms usually is in western regions.
@@tonybehaviour9945 Yeah but that's what I mean. Like Dom says there's no need to yell a champions name 10 times when it's obvious who should be focused.
Are silent/wardless scrims meant to be silent vs silent and wardless vs wardless? Or do you give the other team the "edge" and see how well you do? I guess I'd do the later if I was a coach
LS' narrative about how communication isnt good because everyone should know how to play is just an extension of his faulty foundation, that there exists such a thing as a perfect way to play.
The funny part is that dom said he was offered a position as head coach on an lcs team but he didn’t take it since he knows he’s not qualified. He said that that just goes to show how useless NA coaches are when he’s offered the position despite having no coaching background.
LS: Voice comm is overated in league. Yeah how about you try to stop your Yasuo from running it down mid without typing when you have a better comp, better late game and stop your team from making a 80% winnable game towards a mental boom and FF in solo queue.
This isn't a problem if the players actually understand the game which is what LS is saying. We at low ELO probably need comms but professionals shouldn't. They should have enough game knowledge to play through.
Communication is not important ? That's the stupidiest thing I've ever heard. 1. You can t expect people to be on the same level on every aspect of the game. So Player should always communicate and lead where it's needed. 2. He again proves he doesn't understand the complexity of league and thinks there is only 1 good play at every point which is purely and simply not the case. Such an idiotic take. Player should be on the same page to what is the next play cause they might have diverging idea where they are good play but they have to choose one. 3. "No motherfucker you shoul have known that you should have ganked". No if you knew that the best play was to gank and you said nothing you're a worst player than you think you are.
Meanwhile NA: “silent scrims are pointless bc people don’t take them seriously”
"we tried them but they didnt work" "ok but did you try them seriously?" "Hahah we should try that"
Chovy is that one guy who clutches in fps games, you dont talk when a mans trying to win.

"Wardless scrims." I think you mean SoloQ, lol.
I think silent scrims would also build team intuition. You'd just know more how your teammates think.
I like how they talk about voice comms, and then we have games like T1-RNG, where Faker made his team tp to the enemy's base and end the game.
ALI ALI ALI XDDDD
I wonder if he could do more, if he was helping shot call... thats why i would never consider him the best tbh.
I mean if you think about, if everyone is just leveraging play around him, is that not just accomplishing the same thing as shot calling?
Does anyone know which mic-check LS is talking about?
