This Denver team will be remembered for a long time to come. One of the most complete teams we have seen in the modern NBA and no matter what comes next these guys will always be champions.
not to mention they're one of the most stable teams without much or any outside drama. Didn’t fire their coach Mike Malone when so many other teams were panicking. Much respect
@@CaptainFalchion Yeah most teams would've cracked after their two previous post season exits but props to the front office for trusting this team and Malone to go all the way. And their core is still in their prime and getting better so we're going to see some good post season runs from them for years as long as long term injuries don't come into the picture
Y’all think they can go back to back ? From how complete this team is to beat todays small ball most teams copied the warriors almost all teams play small
@@chll3194ch This team showed they can have a two way impact while running a small ball playstyle with a noticeable size advantage over most teams. This is the type of team capable of getting 50+ wins in any era and I think they'll continue to dominate the west
The Nuggets were the best team all year. Media did a really bad job not mentioning them most of the season. Needed more nationally televised games than the drama filled teams like celtics, lakers, and warriors.
These highlights really show how valuable, and what a genius cutter, Gordon is. That, and the 2-way value of Bruce Brown. What a well put-together team
As a nuggets fan this it’s very rewarding to have stayed down through the trash years to finally have seen this team win a championship… I think we can win another one if not two as long as we stay healthy we’re going to be tough to beat
The Nuggets just prove you don't need Superteams with players with huge egos to win a championship.. picking up the right players through the drafts and trade, building chemistry is still the right thing to do..
drafting jokic murray for pick and roll, drafting murray mpj for shoot, drafting CB for defense, trading AG for defense and paint shot, sign Bruce Brown and Jeff Green for solid bench, also sign DJ and Uncle Jeff for vet experience. this team is complete
Someone needs to make a compilation of solely the seasons most electrifying breaks and exquisite plays and call it 2023 Showtime Nuggets. This one is great and captures that energy well.
Yeah true, Nuggets were making a lot of dunks, AG, BB, CB even Murray. One would think they would end up being more on those NBA weekly highlights but they haven't.
@@felix3033that why i said those who said Denver are boring dont really watch Denver... They got everything. A master in the post move, the fast and crafty guard Murray, The dunker Aaron Gordon, The sharpshooting MPJ,... What more do you want?
The fact that everybody dunks at will if they have a step is very demoralizing and puts lots of pressure on the opposing team. Look at stiff celtics grant Williams is a 4 and can't dunk, that's a hole in the lineup many top teams have.
Greetings to Jokic as a Turk. 👋 He also proved to be the true MVP of his season. Shame on the NBA management and commentators who didn't choose him as MVP 3 times in a row!..
Facts . Joker deserved more Mvps in that stretch, but remember this very very important point , the MVP voting might randomly get it right sometimes but it's not players voting . Coaches which is cool and all but theirs good and bad coaches , owners execs , who cares what they think that's why joker didn't get more and that's why In my humble biased opinion from 2002-2011/12 basically my favorite player kobe only got one MVP and anybody watched any basketball during that period that is unreal when if you ask the players , the good about who was the best player during certain periods was and if you have eyes kobe deserved more than one, I'm not saying he should have won it every year from 2002-2011 but sure to sell more than one when you're the best player in the league and on a more detailed note from fuckin 2005-2006 especially , until through 2011-12 I could make a case for him definitely more than once . It's politics not players who know the game voting
I'm so proud of this team. My dad took me to my first Nuggets game way back in 1992 and made me a lifelong fan. I remember drafting Jokic and thinking "oh no one of those European bigs, those guys almost never work out." Now he's taken us to our first NBA championship.
Was thinking the same. Someone needs to make a compilation of solely their most electrifying breaks and exquisite plays and call it 2023 Showtime Nuggets.
Imagine spending your entire career trying to build a new Franken-mega beast every two or three years, only to see this and realize what you could have achieved with a little patience.
This denver team is just so unstoppable. Like you know its game over even before the game starts. The focus of each player on their role is just mind blowing, no pride, just grinding it out. Funny thing is, these lakers lunatics saying if DLO could have just played better, the lakers could have won the series LOL. TF man. Its all IFs, yeah because it ain't happening, not on Jokic watch , not on Jamal's watch, and specially not on Coach Malone's watch. The amount of disrespect of these idiot lakers fan is unbelievable - and i am not even a nuggets fan. Raptor fan here.
If I had to compare joker to an athlete in another sport it would be Tom Brady. They are at different stages of their career but a lot of similarities. Even how they were selected late in the draft, they don’t look like anything special, they aren’t particularly athletic, can’t run or jump but they both have incredible passing ability hand eye coordination, sport IQ, foot work, very cool under pressure.
Dude this Denver team had a lot of hungry vets: DJ, Jeff Green (man he has an iron heart), the ultimate journeyman Ish Smith and the player who took advantage of his career revival Bobby Jackson.
Perkins hasnt even the 10% skill from jokic and the only thing who gets him attention is trash talking and playing racist cards on MVP votes. Perkins should be deleted as analyst
amazing jokic undoubtedly is, this championship was a total team effort. every single guy that hit the court showed up and did what was required for the team to win, no ego, no internal strife, just the single, unified desire to win, and the supreme confidence in their capabilities towards winning. as long as the core stays healthy, the nuggets will no doubt be a force to be reckoned with for the foreseeable future!
I guess the Denver Nuggets never forgot what they did the Lakers and Denver nuggets in WWE in a segment in a match where the Lakers won They took it to heart and got❤
At the 11:05 mark, that's why KAT for Minnesota is trash. He's on the 3pt line top of the key and he still doesn't get back on defense. That's why Minnesota will never win a RING if their building around KAT that's for sure. Good luck Wolves fans. 😭😭😭

Facts. Pure facts .
Jokic, Murray, Gordon, MPJ, KCP, Brown, Green, Braun. What a team.
man as a nuggets fan that lakers series was the most satisfying, even more than the finals.
Finals were already done by then, just had to wait for time to catch up.
Realistically that was the finals for us lol
Shit Phoenix was the best team we faced all post season and they were no match
I will always love "Anthony Davis just stares at him" 🤣

Denver has done insane this season and got their first championship/ring im so happy LETS GO!!!!!
Denver and Raptors winning the chip was special.

Denver looks like all star💪
So impressed by Jokic-Murray connection. It remains me Stoud-Nash with the Suns, unstoppable on pick&roll.
Those shots over AD were mad disrespectful lmao, Jokic is an absolute bucket
Love how Aaron Gordon plays. He is an animal in the paint, no stopping of him! 1:27

So sweet beating the Suns and the Lakers. Absolutely a revenge tour to remember.
Just sad we couldn't beat Golden as well just to finish the revenge tour
I dont really see any reason why Denver wont be right back in this spot next season too

Jeff Green finally winning a ring beautiful to see

MPJ deserves every cent of his contract for these 3 reasons alone
1. Game 5 vs Heat
2. That block on Hachimura
3. Thank dunk on Durant
