I am not stupid. I only hold bitcoin and kaspa. than some shares at the stock market and phsysical gold. That is my 40k dollar networth at 19 years of age. I think it will play out. Patience is the key. lets goo
Man 19 years. I’m 22 I wish I would of just stuck to btc when I first started at 18. Now I’m just sticking to btc and kas as well cause kaspa is something that isn’t wise to ignore but ultimately it’s end game to me for crypto. If it doesn’t succeed then this space is pretty pointless. In crypto 99% is in kas and then a small % in btc. Then I do have some diversification in real estate and stocks market. Mainly my net worth is kaspa though.

Is there any other incentive other than just supporting the network?
Yes node rewards would be great but Kaspa doesn't offer that

i can't figure out how to connect my mining rigs to my node especially with KNG, like stratum auto closing despite having it fully synched, asked in discord and no one really helped, hope u can give a more in depth video to show what could happen and how to fix it to get our rigs connected well and running, even better if we can work with a dashboard to with docker.
Yeah Ive been trying to figure this out as well. All this software is new so not many people have even tried to get it to work.

Have you had any luck running ks-bridge on the Kaspa NG full node? I have node up, but ks-bridge just opens then closes. IP and port it set, I noticed that Kaspa NG might be using port 17110 but trying that didn't help.

Looks like you have to enable gRPC in the note settings, it seems to have connected now, will do more testing now.

Did you choose local, custom, or any ?
I am just new to crypto, I have just been investing in the market for a year or so and I am fascinated by Kaspa and by Jasmy projects. I wanted to know why you should run a node and what is the purpose of it. By the way, in terms of cost benefit what is the best way to purchased Kaspa because on the exhanges if you put 1,000 dollars you receive like 940 or 930 dollars. If you guys provideme some pointers I will appreciate it.
How can I change where the data is downloaded? The program selects the hard drive C automatically. and C is full.
There is an option in settings to change to a custom data storage folder. If you cannot see this option, stop the node from running, scroll down to storage, click delete data folder, then scroll back up - there is a check box to enable a custom data storage folder . This is what I did anyways.

You cannot mine with GPU. Kaspa is asic friendly. You will need ASICS to make mining worth while.
