Hey Mate, great video! I wanted to ask, how accurate is the spedo on the EBMX app? I'm thinking about getting the controller for my L1E and I want to make sure I've got an accurate reading for future power upgrades
I think its pretty close if you set it up with correct input settings like with the belt or chain conversion set up your gear ratios. But the screen is pretty small to read a speed limit from anyway, their app allows a live speedo dash with extra info now or you can use your phone gps, both options require you to mount your phone tho.
Cool bro. So with stock sprocket and 72v max speed 108kmh ? Also you got bigger licence plate , you need licence for motorbike A1 or what ? Keep it up ! :)
Yeah I was thinking about changing to personal plate but keep.speeding the money on upgrades instead 😄 yes stock 48 sprocket 72v 42ah ebmx battery and X9 controller on their factory settings, maybe one day I'll have a play with the settings and try get a bit more out of the top end. Cheers mate 🤙
Hi there, I was also considering getting one, but it looks like the stock display doesn't work properly. I live in Germany, and the police here are very strict about these things. Also do the indicators still work?
Yes the indictors work, once you upgrade your controller unfortunately the display will stop working. Police are strict here in Aus too, they would just make me take it to the pits to do a vehicle inspection in which i would just swap controllers back for it.
I’m running mine on the ko moto controller and motor combo and I have the EBMX 60v battery and the fastest I went is 120 km/h oh and I have the super motos to 14 inch in the front and 16 in the back and feels pretty good
Hi mate! I've got a specific question, maybe you can help me with. I want to buy aftermarket controller like EBMX/Torp and new battery 60v or 72v for my L1e. Now what can be done when time comes to register a bike. Limit my bike on 4kw or put stock parts on for that day and swap it after? Will they let me go through with it or must everything be stock (controller, motor, battery, breaks). How did you do it? What would you recommend 72v or 60v (not a new rider)?
Your best bet is to get it registered before doing any mods, I haven't been stopped or had to go to the pits since all of my mods so I'm not to sure what they would say. Definitely the 72v is the better option, but with the 60v you can still use your stock charger and also run in on your stock controller if you don't upgrade them at the same time
Whats making the funny noise? Best bet is to jump on the Facebook EBMX X9000 page. There is plenty of help on there and a lot easier to help diagnose the problem
@@danburgez Could you do a tutorial on how to fit it as tail tidy, I'm saving up for a surron, Im in Belgium so I will need a L1E but I want it to look good not with the crappy mud guard set up 🤮 and also can you unlock the speed by the brake 5 times and 1 long squeeze? or cut the green/black wire? how does it work for the L1E version? I hope I can unlimit it. Thanks
@shadowverge I don't have that tidy tail anymore as the tyre still hit offroad. I just got an aftermarket tail/indicator light from Aliexpress and remove my number plate offroad. I have any any problems with the police yet
@@danburgez could you link it, or do a review on that said product for longevity so I can see whether its not like the other 5 euro products that break after 3 days?
I didn't hate the BAC8, the X9000 gives you better throttle control and a lot of options to change settings. Another option to check out would be the Torp 1000, that's looking pretty good
It is a great controller and they just released their V2 of the X9000. It's probably one of the most adaptable controller on the market. The Torp also gets a lot of hype but haven't had a chance to see one in action
keep up the good work man!
Thank you mate 🤙

That's pretty good. I'm interested to see what the new EBMX motor will do. I am also keen to get a set of 14s on

dont run the stock bypass past 6.5kw it will ruin it
thats still pretty quick
Should do a comparison run with the bac8000..
Unfortunately I sold my BAC8000 to buy the X9000
Can anyone help me I’ve installed my x9000 with a stock battery not bypass and now it’s making a funny noise

How'd you raise the back light and indicators?
I fabricated a tidy tail, worked great on road and was a heaps cleaner look but offroad it still bounced around too much

Did you like your bac8000 more or less?

Do you love the controller its 1200$ here usa :'(

Does ur indicators still work
Yeah indicators still work, with after market controllers you'll get to warning lights flash but doesn't affect anything
