Seeing heavy Ghost in the Shell vibes, not just from that UMP9 jump but the raid on Kalina's office reminds me of that one part in S.A.C. where the Umibozu Unit attacked Section 9. Loved the use of real tactics, stacking up, double tapping, very cool.

But yes, the game is grindy af and not in a good way, imo, as for a mobile game. (Too time consuming for a gacha is what I mean)
@@ORLY911 the grind can be macro'ed on emulator, so it's not that painful (I did it on Nox), and some event stories can be played if you missed the actual event. There are people uploading their playthrough, but personally playing the game is more immersive.

Dude...they are android girls. They are akin to Terminator against normal human. The important bits are their doll bodies, not the clothes. They are on a budget essentially. Or at least that is what I heard of how the creators justify the changes in looks.

In this timeframe, both Kalina and the Commander have the option to leave G&K offered by Kryuger himself. The Commander decides to stay but through bad jokes, ends up hurting Kalina by telling her to go by herself after she declaring to have some sort of dependency of the Commander. Kalina gets her Jimmies rustled, and thinks that Commander is going to leave, leaving her in a state of grieve or sadness and unwilling to communicate with the Commander during the events and missions. In the end, a celebration is taking place, and Commander tries to approach Kalina for the 99nth time. She is still mad and sad, but the Commander finally takes the chance to clarify and apologize to Kalina. It ends up with laughs and smiles, a very heartwarming moment for me tbh. They are not a couple but dang man... THE FEELS! Commander promises Kalina not that he will not lie to her. All good a gucci, right? *_PSYCHE_* The cutscene is cut by a another one of Commander 10 years after those events, reminiscing about the promise he broke, and how he left Kalina, leading her to a great change of her personality, foreshadowing the events of GFL 2. And then I cried and my depression, which I was cured from for about 10 seconds, came back into me as I took a long deep breath.

This trailer succeeded in showing why humans just can't compete against T-dolls in a gunfight (sometimes even in melee), which is what we're told at every oportunity in the game (even during PL when they got their robotic asses handed)

It is obvious that she didn’t see the nade being thrown, so how did she know it’s path or even the fact that it’s thrown in the first place? Besides, saying she knew because of the sound of pulling the pin is also bs, the dude’s teammates were covering him and the sounds of gunfire is extremely loud so there is no way she could here that. The entire “shooting a nade while it’s in the air” is absolutely impractical even for a doll, at least in this case, and was probably added solely to flex there animation quality.

Reminder that Paradeus Ulhan seems to be just some SLEP program IFV of a 2010+ NATO IFV, Russian Forces seem to use AN94s as their main rifle and for some reason Tu-95 Heavy Bombers ARE ALSO still in use by Military employed PMCs, note also that some tank wrecks in SF areas seem to be T72-90 type MBTs meaning AFVs in general haven't been updated aside Unmaned versions or AI controled models armed with Railguns, Artillery Mortars and more
Is not always you see proper tactical formations put into use in most animations... Single file movement, Wall hugging, breaching, double man cornering, having an actual last man, double tapping on downed enemies etc etc... Of course, there is also over-exgerated elements, but it is to be expected. I wish the anime had better tactics shown and implemented rather than just showing girls shooting some fortnite sounding guns.

I didn't stick with Girls frontline 1 for long, but if 2 actually has the xcom like gameplay I saw when I first heard about it, I think it's gonna become one of my favorite gatchas no problem
I like that while the faceless goons are mowed down, there's still a concerted EFFORT by the girls in order to pull it off: that they don't charge blindly, pick their spots and that the goons actually take more than one "insta death bullet" to actually kick the bucket.
Now that makes a lot of questions when did they make a conflict with russian police. On 0:32 on chestplate the are sign "POLICE" written on russian and mirrored. After that, сonflict with PMC/special force squad armed according to the American standard is not something unusual.
Notice how they never break rear security in a stack even when they're in a gun fight? That takes a serious amount of trust, training and coordination from your teammates

Double tap shooting is somehow realistic feeled like real combat, and the "drop" from high buildings revokes me of the memory of Ghost in the Shell~

One thing people probably didn't catch is that the cloak UMP9 is wearing is bulletproof.
Is not always you see proper tactical formations put into use in most animations... Single file movement, Wall hugging, breaching, double man cornering, having an actual last man, double tapping on downed enemies etc etc... Of course, there is also over-exgerated elements, but it is to be expected. I wish the anime had better tactics shown and implemented rather than just showing girls shooting some fortnite sounding guns.
It was ok until they started flagging each on in the stack
You even see soldiers taking off their NODS in reaction to flashbangs
@@therealcactoos9457 actually, NODs would be damaged and be blemmed, not fry. Autogating features on modern NVGs would really be better for your eyes than taking a flashbang straight
they would work fine, but there may be noticable artifacts on your periphery

I didn't stick with Girls frontline 1 for long, but if 2 actually has the xcom like gameplay I saw when I first heard about it, I think it's gonna become one of my favorite gatchas no problem

I like that while the faceless goons are mowed down, there's still a concerted EFFORT by the girls in order to pull it off: that they don't charge blindly, pick their spots and that the goons actually take more than one "insta death bullet" to actually kick the bucket.
