Did NOT work for me. It only downloaded the photos and videos in each chat. I was expecting the actual chat thread. I followed every step exactly as stated; mine took a couple of hours to finalize. Not what I expected.

You also can do it in android.
First go in three lines and settings.
Then go in account centre.
In account settings section go in your information and permissions.
Then there is option to download your information. Go in it and follow the steps that are in this video 😊
