Yep, definitely a job that demands proper team work. We just handled Norse flights out of SWF after the JFK terminal mishap a few days ago. The Dreamliner is a fine airplane to work, the cargo compartments are in great shape and work as advertised.
Hi very good work, it's amazing to be "behind the scenes"! Just out of curiosity, isn't it weird for you to drive with the wheel on the left and then after with the wheel on the right?
It's crazy how there is hardly any communication between any of the people working on the ramp , it looks as though people do all kinds of random things without ever talking to other workers so everyone knows what everyone else is doing or going to do , people can't read minds and communication is how injuries or death are prevented.
I thought the belly door operation is would be closer to the 767 at first, but now I see it’s almost identical to the 777. The plane isn’t as low to the ground as I thought.
The door is very sleek. Its hydraulic operated but all that stuff is hidden in the door itself. You cant open it from the highloader like the 777 because it would hit the machine. This is due to it being very low. Unlike the 777
@@ramperryan we don’t use the loader to open the 777 doors. We use the ladders for anything higher than a 767. I work at the FedEx hub, so I was curious about how the 787 door worked. I was first under the impression it was the same mechanism as the 767 considering how low to the ground it was
3:47! That should NOT have taken you that long omg😅😫. That bar to the side of the other bar on the connecter for towing things pulls up to the perfect height to sit on the whole towing section. Making the connection much easier holding the tow bar and the inching button
Wow! These ramp agent simulator games have gotten so realistic!
Agreed!

I love how Ryan just knows what to do he doesn't even need to think.
Awesome work. Good crew alongside you too. Respect 👍
These remind me of my days working on the Ramp at Heathrow. Good times they were 😊
it's funny to see the similair equipment being used at a different airport. Even the charlatte with its different models
2:50 Yooo that Salmon is from the processing plant I work at nice to see it getting loaded.
No way!! Its a heavy pallet alright. But great to see it on its way to new york
@@ramperryan oh ye for sure it is around 42kg in each box of Salmon. Maybe some lighter
Love your work ethic - no mucking about, just get it done! 💯
Excellent footage once again. I have to admit, I got a rush hearing the low hum of those Trent 1000's starting up. Looking forward to your next video.
It shakes the ground when they start up
@@ramperryan I would imagine the GE90 does it better then
@@ramperryan Norway's pretend airline Scooby Doo.
Looks like you guys are way well equipped than us. Must be nice. I do the same work as well but it's a lot harder with what we have here.
I really enjoy getting to see what happens on the ground. It's all fascinating to me.
It’s really cool to see what it’s like on the tarmac, specially when the beepers are going off when luggage & stuff is getting put in the belly.
Wow didnt realize there was that much that goes into loading a plane very demanding work
Yep takes some time to get it on its way

Nice footage, wish i were young again. would love to work the ramp.
Me too! Working around such huge planes...
Need that Tug!!
Cool to se you end the video of the old NAS livery of this aircraft with your own special version 😁
miss DY, ive work on this aircraft when it was G-CKWD.
Amazing 👍
18:52 LOL!!! that "what the fuck" made me laugh so hard
you are very hardworker
Wave that little red flag, the last thing before they taxi. Great video.
Good footage as an American pilot it’s nice to see what it’s like over at European airports very intertaning

Dnata or Red handling? I am quite confused :D
I wokred at YYZ for 4 years and i worked on the A380 for a Year
where do you work at
We normally use Cargo martic or transporter to bring ULDs to the LDM, but it seems they do not use it on this flight
What company do you work for?
I thought u always approach from the nose full, and out the engine side empty
gotta love that "what the fu"
Cussing out the GSE is a rite of passage for all rampers. You can be the least cussy person out there, but that GSE (and all the locks) will getcha.
What’s the best way to connect a airport tug to a dolly ?
Hope for the best
I just get it near enough then use inch mode so I can move the tug back or forward an inch using buttons outside the cab.
I m also a ramp agent/ supervisor of Bangladesh airlines

Yes

Why don't you all use Transporters to load and unload cargo?
No need when all the cargo is airside and the space of the stands can be tight
