Heya I agree you two are hilarious. I'm coming to HKU on exchange and wondered the same thing, heard that the student flats are a bit more free (and have more of an international party scene) but kinda run down. Recommendations??
Hi sorry this took so long haha we are not that active but yeah the 11pm curfew just means no visitors that don’t live in ur building! So u can have visitors if they are residents of your dorm. It’s pretty strict but if you get the right security guard / use a working ID to tap in it’s usually fine. The student flats are good if you’re going abroad like with a group of friends and want to live together/cook together! The facilities aren’t as new/nice as the JCVIII but definitely has benefits (no curfew).
