Just passed my driving test first time today in Glasgow in a wee automatic car.... At the grand age of 49. Fear kept me back for many years, but I can't explain how happy I am today. I just wish my Mum could have seen me do this x. Good luck everyone xx

My main tip given to me was be yourself and take the test like a driving lesson but with a new instructor and you want to show them your safe at driving

Passed on my third attempt today, to anyone reading this; you can do it. I failed twice quite badly and failed god knows how many mock tests. On top of that I was asked questions such as “ have you given up ?”. And in all honesty felt shit about myself as if I’d never pass. But as someone who saw absolutely no hope and no light at the end of the tunnel, just understand it gets better. Just work hard and eventually you’ll pass !

I passed on 3rd November just before second lockdown, it’s quite nerve-racking driving alone now

Best way to pass is be your self and pretend it’s another driving lesson. Unnecessary stress can push you to make mistakes just take your time you won’t get minor points or fail the test for taking your time to show you can drive safe.
A good tip
During the second lockdown i just watching your vids. It’s very helpful and I learned a lot of tips🙂. I just passed my driving test last December 3 in Bristol with 3 minors. Keep up the good work!!

I passed a driving test in Malta, we have a near identical test to the UK one and your videos along with many other RUclipsr's helped me achieve a pass on the 3rd attempt, a total of 7 minor faults. I was feeling really bummed out the 2nd time I had failed, these types of videos gave me the encouragement to not give up.
My test had a pretty interesting scenario! 2 People crashed on a roundabout that I needed to enter, they blocked the lane that I had to use to enter, so I basically had to enter from a "exit" of the roundabout, myself and the examiner were even just casually chatting through all of it!

@@lucasdavidhernandezdiaz3907 sure, don’t do the same though because I failed on Junctions - Observations, a car slowed down to let me out and apparently you’re not supposed to go because of right of way. 😔

you say about having your passed theory paper with you but I have lost mine and DVSA are taking ages to get back to me to replace it but I do have a picture of it and the certificate number so would they be able to find it on the system before doing the practical Driving test? If not I'm guessing I'd get turn down to do my driving test?
This last month they have stopped asking to see the theory test certificate.
If they need to they can check on your system
Lost my theory test pass paper but when I looked on the gov website as to what I should do it says that you don’t need to get a replacement at the examiner can check it while your their x but now I’m scared that then won’t let me do it
If you contact the theory test centre where you took the theory test. They can email you a copy.

My old instructor told me techniques to park into bays such as certain parts of the mirror however when I have been doing L plate driving and parking I’ve just drove straight into the bay! I have my test soon and I want to know if I can just drive straight into the bay opposed to using these unnecessary techniques to make it harder
Please would u share the tips, I often struggle to park in the bay as I can barely see the bay lines in my side mirrors
@@sadedarryl6064 I passed my test, I recommend you to go as far out as possible and just full lock turn into the bay when parking forwards. Ignore what the instructors say when learning to pay park. They give you unnecessary techniques and make it harder

I left my theory test in my instructors car but I have taken photos & I have tge number from the theory paper, will that suffice or should I go to the test center and pay £15 for another one, ive another lesson booked this week but I'm worrying he will not have it with him - thqnk you in advanced 👍
Drop your instructor a text asking them to hold onto it until your lesson.

I fail 3 time 😔 on the roundabout I was taking 1 exit and there was lorry which was right side and when he start moving I was trying to pass next to it taking as a shield and she failed me on that and I don't think I make mistake there.
It was just 5 min. Left.

Eat and drink an hour before so it keeps up your strength/stamina. You will be surprised how much stress burns up your energy levels. Checkout my playlist on passing your driving test first time. More tips in there for you. Good luck

If you google it. There is a website that has all the old test routes in the uk. Just type it in on google.

Do you still have the reverse round a corner as a manoeuvre in the driving test?

I daydream when driving way to easily, Is that normal for some people?
Hi, when learning, some learners day dream. It’s usually down to boredom. The instructor needs to ask more questions to get the student talking more.
Ive got my driving test in april. Ive would have had 70 hours worth of lessons by then... do you think i will be ready,? my insctuor took me a mock test and said i did really well and would have passed condisering it was my 1st one but i still dont feel ready.-_- I really hope i pass!!
It sounds like your instructor thinks you will. If your instructor is saying that now, I would think you will be ready.
