@@josefinaacosta4024 i will be starting after the 1st of the year and it already feels like a roller coaster for me. I don’t know which studying material/program to choose. I want to pass the first time. Think I’m stressing out WAY too soon 😞😫😵💫
Been trying to tackle how to study this. Love this simple approach to it. I was feeling a pit in my stomach about studying and now I feel that I have a realistic and helpful strategy to approach this material. Thank you for making this video and making it available for everyone.
This is exactly what I've been doing! ...letting the test take me! ...letting the noise get in!Overthinkiing. Rationalizing. Instead of just keeping it simple.
The test questions are more focused on tricking us than testing our competence. It’s not enough to remember the information you really have to comprehend this stuff which is annoying especially when u won’t use most it in real life
That is such an issue to me !! i dont get why they feel the need to have trick and "gotcha" questioning. If they want to know if we know it, then ask the damn question.
I never understood how or why people without financial products and services training want to take it?? It’s not rocket science but it also isn’t dog walking either. I’m genuinely curious.
thanks mr lee, the video is very useful.. hope i can take the test and not getting taken by it lol... i am using ur prep course and also Serdemy practice tool, passed finra 65 and hitting SIE now!!
Do I have to purchase the textbook separately after enrolling in the course? Do you have enough information on the SIE course for me to not purchase a textbook?
My video course is meant to be a bridge between the textbook and the real test. Kaplan or STC are probably the most reliable textbooks. My email: brian@testgeekexamprep.com
Hello. I’m about take SIE but don’t have the budget to subscribe for review purposes. Will there be any way to take test questions somewhere for free except that of FINRA’s?
But if you don't know the Square root of 16 is 4 then you're screwed. I thought it was 2...i would've for sure got that question ultra wrong by picking the answer with the number 4.
It's just a ridiculous amount of memorization, which is strange because oddly enough the people who are in the investment world are not necessarily the best decision makers, but those who have the best memory skills coupled with math skills. There's little room for psychology, human behavior, and decision/process making skills, which is why so many fiduciaries and so many insurance sales people are just awful.
You're good with how to approach and study for these exams? Excellent!! I wish everyone could say that. My video course is available at testgeekexamprep.teachable.com
Passed my test today. I used Kaplan and got Test Geek. Highly recommend watching his videos the day of the test. Definitely helped me pass.
Could you send me the link of which video please
Congratulations!!! Huge accomplishment. Wish I was you 😫😫😫
I’m studying for the SIE thru my job and it feels like a roller coaster 🎢

How'd the tackling go making good progress?
Did you pass?
Did you pass? How about series 7 and 66?
"YOU take the test, don't let the TEST take you." That was money. Thanks Mr. Lee

Now you're turning a weakness into a strength. Good luck.

KEEP IT STUPID SIMPLE. Thank you for doing so sir
You would be amazed as to how many folks over-complicate this and often don't have a good plan as to how to approach standardized exams.
Awesome! thanks for sharing !!!!
My pleasure. You can get the entire SIE Video Course through testgeekexamprep.teachable.com. Brian

If you send me an email at brian@testgeekexamprep.com I can send you a few questions.
Is it all multiple choice?
Yes. All FINRA exams are multiple choice.
Geebus, I'd really just like a recommendation for a textbook to read. I know how to take tests, I don't need a video on general test taking theory.
Excellent!! I wish everyone could say that!! Kaplan or STC typically have the best textbooks and practice questions
The SIE is cake the 7 is a pain!
Mark Ugartechea what topic was the most covered on your test
On the 7

I have heard some folks call it the Series 7 "lite".
What is the study source? is there a book, an official guide or anything that covers all topics?
Thanks for the upload!
This is general test prep 101. There’s no content that relates to the SIE.
Recently someone explained KISS as Keep IT Simple Stupid hehe
Thank you so much.

Hahaha...full moon with months ending in the letter r. 😂😂. Very attractive answer choice.
This video is about test-taking and study skills, not the S.I.E. content.
