The newest Tor download adds a path called "tor-browser" under "tor-browser-linux...". So make sure to cd to this path before launching the "./start-tor-browser.desktop --register-app" command

Can I ask what I need to do to fix TOR not connecting? when I start it it doesnt do anything and I cant click on connect either. I can go to its settings and what not but nothing seems to fix it :(

Is Tor working on other PCs? If no, then maybe it is blocked by your ISP. or by another parental control like OpenDNS
