Thanks for posting this. Very enlightening. I dig any signal that is consistent when you turn on it. I find the legend to be very reliable in its ability to ID targets.

I tried the field mode on a patch I detected yesterday. I found a vintage toy motorcycle a dime and 5 cents. Amazing. No signals yesterday on park mode. My body won't do more today. Hopefully tomorrow gold mode. Thanks for the info

Great video M3 as always going to hit weaker on gold signals because the filtration is set up to negate aluminum and ultra wet conditions. When I'm creating custom programs I always drop the tone break of tone number one the iron tone down to 8 there are so many things that get down average between 9 and 11 that are good targets.

I noticed you have your user profile on #4 are you sure you didn't change the tone breaks around? Because my tone break for iron doesn't start till 10, and 11 is a low tone for foil. I can't get mine to grunt like iron on gold unless I move the tone break up to 11 12. Although I have seen small gold necklaces ring up as foil and iron when the target was deeper but never a ring. I mainly stay in 60 tone.

I completely did a factory reset prior so I didn't change anything.

U have to do these tests with the Ring on the ground...that's the only way to keep the VDI from jumping like that.
Wedding band won't bounce around like that

The Double Score has a little grunt on anything that's garbage usually, I haven't mastered the legend after almost 2 years, I try different things, but it's a challenge sometimes,I have all the coils, environment really plays into everything...TN. has every kind of odd environment some great, some suck, sometimes it really pays to know the area and ground you're dealing with

The conditions and ground really do matter no doubt. Thanks for your insight on the Double Score. Not sure that will be in my purchase lane but def good info. Thanks.

Sounds like you need to set tone break around 7 or 8

      Yes especially in Park mode.

Ugh, just gotta dig it all I guess,

Not everything just depends on what you are after and where you are hunting. For the Beach, heck yeah I'm digging everything. Parks..maybe I'll sample a few lower numbers. Thats how I approach it.

What does Fools Gold come in as? Dumb by Nokta to have aluminum and gold come in as iron in Park, yes its tuned in for coins, but just have the aluminum and gold come in at a lower tone, not an iron tone....Ding Dongs

Just drop your iron break to 8 and you’ll be fine.
