At the current exchange rate (July 5, 2024) 1 Turkish lira = 1.12 baht! The prices you see in the video are almost the same in Turkish currency :/
I share the wonderful places we discovered in this fascinating city with important information and up-to-date prices. Here are some of the places we visited:
- Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn): Located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, it is a fascinating temple with magnificent views and ornate mosaics.
- Grand Palace: One of the most important symbols of Bangkok. This palace complex, dazzling with its history and magnificence, is full of structures such as the Golden Temple and Wat Phra Kaew.
- Wat Pho: Famous for its huge Reclining Buddha statue. It is also the birthplace of Thai massage.
- Wat Suthat Thepwararam: An impressive temple with a huge bronze Buddha statue and detailed murals. Giant Swing is also located here.
- Golden Buddha: The world's largest golden Buddha statue, made of 5.5 tons of pure gold, located in Wat Traimit Temple.
- Talat Noi: A district full of colorful and vibrant street arts that reflects the modern face of Bangkok.
- Sri Mariamma Indian Temple: A temple dedicated to the Hindu goddess Mariamma, attracting attention with its colorful and detailed decorations.
- Jim Thompson's House: Traditional Thai house built by famous American businessman, former agent Jim Thompson, offering a fascinating story of the history of the Thai silk industry.
- Lumphini Park: A large and green park that offers a peaceful escape in the center of the city.

Buda heykellerin tamamı altin renginde ama hepside altin değil galiba. Bunun sebebi nedir altın rengi olmasının hic araştırdınızmı

Evet hepsi altın değil, Budistler ritüellerini uygularken altın yaprağı ile heykelleri süsleyebiliyor ama heykeller tamamen altın olmuyor. Altın yaprağı yapıştırılmasını bir kaynakta şöyle açıklamışlar: "Pagodalardaki heykellerin üzerine altın yapraklar yapıştırmak Buda'nın öğretilerini onurlandırmanın bir yolu. Budizm uygulayıcılarına göre bu tür figürleri yaldızlamak, "sevgi dolu bir nezaket eylemi" ve "iyi erdemleri aktarmanın" bir yolu. Budizm'de altın güneşi ifade eder: saflığın, bilginin, aydınlanmanın alevi." Altın değerli olduğu için Buda'yı değerli bir konuma koyuyorlar aslında, çoğu yerde tapınak ve kraliyeti sarı-turuncu renklerin temsil etmesi de bu nedenle diye düşünüyorum :)
