- I took my 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon to Easter Jeep Safari 2021 (EJS) in Moab Utah. This Jeep Badge Of Honor trail that we ran is called Fins and Things. It is an easy Jeep Badge of Honor trail for most people to get.
Fins and Things is easy enough for stock 4x4 vehicles to complete but has enough fun and challenging sections to keep the more modified vehicles still having a blast. We wheeled with a wide variety of Jeeps this trail like a YJ, Jeep Wrangler JL, Jeep Wrangler JLUR, and of course Jeep Wrangler JK and Jeep Wrangler JKUR.
Moab Utah is home to some of the best rock crawling trails in the nation. There are many Jeep Badge Of Honor trails located in Moab and it is easy to hit many or all of them during Easter Jeep Safari.
Our Jeep Modifications are 3" Synergy MFG lift, 38" Milestar Patagionias, custom built front and rear bumpers, and more!

Comment below if you have been to Moab or plan to in the future!
Rode with you on golden spike it was a great day
Heading there next week! Is it usually pretty obvious where the trail goes? Always try to be careful we aren't off and trail but in some states like arkansas it's very hard to tell lol.
It’s easy to tell. There are markers but you can’t miss all the black tire tracks
@@BuiltForDirt haha i figured, thanks!
My second home here in UT
Great video! I've done Fins and Things a few times in my 2-doors Wranglers. After watching your video I can't wait to go back to Utah with my Gladiator. Looking forward to watching the rest of your Easter Jeep Safari videos.
Working hard on the next videos!
Yo TJ Mitchell, it looks like a great time. It's definitely a place I want to visit in the future. 👍👍
Yes you have to go some day. The videos and photos don’t do it justice. It’s an amazing place.
To much fun👍👍

Rode with you on Golden Spike, a great day
INCREDIBLE VIDEO!!!! The intro was fantastic, well said. This is one of the best "rock-docs" (
Thanks John! I appreciate it! Hopefully I will be able to get the next videos out quickly
Xlnt video. Subscribed!
🤙🏻
That is a cool trail. It has some fun drop offs. You did a great job capturing it. I actually saw you one day out there driving through town. Your new corner guards are unique. Reminds me of the Mopar M. Keep up the good work.
Can’t wait to see you footage as well, specially the roll over. That will be interesting for sure. Once again I’m glad you and everyone are ok and no one got hurt
@@BuiltForDirt Thanks! I think the picture made it look worse. Just a little tip in a v-notch, lol. We only broke the side mirror and dented the door. I took the inside of the door apart to get the window up. Door opens and closes good. The hard top got a few more scratches in the corner. We were very fortunate. Thank you for the concern and kind words. Very much appreciated.
Nice work! Great filming. We usually go twice a year. We’re heading out in a couple weeks and will probably run Fins N Things as it has been a long while and I don’t have a video of it. I enjoyed this.
Have fun!
This has a feel similar to Trail Recon. Nice shots, good and calm narration, and no annoying music the entire time. Subscribing!
Thanks Jaden! Much appreciated 👊
I have done that trail at least 50 times over the last 25 years came down as part of a church youth camp one year. We camped at the group site near the south entrance and did laps around the trail for 3 days straight picking up a different groups of kids each lap. Watching the gladiator with a roof top tent and heavy rack looked kind of miserable. Kind of like wheeling with an elephant sitting on your roof. I do however love your rear trim and high clearance bumper.
I didn’t mine doing it with the roof top tent at all. We had a blast!
Awesome video TJ! Looks like you had a great time!
SO much fun!
I’ve never been to Moab before. But I’m going for the Labor Day camp out this year with my samurai on 32’s. Signed up for the first timers package. Deadman springs, cameo cliffs, then fins and things on Monday! Can’t wait
You will have a blast!
It looks so fun! When are we gonna see more EJS vids?
Soon! I don't have a specific date so you should make sure you have notifications enabled so you won't miss anything.
I was there late in the week and into this week but we didnt do safari trails, lots and lots to see and do there, I m ready to go back again!
Same here, so many more trails that I still haven't done yet.
@@BuiltForDirt let me know when youre ready and maybe I can run up
Great video, always seem to learn something. Curious as to the setup of your Gladiator? Tires? Rims? Tire Pressure while on the trail? V6 or Diesel? Lift? Other upgrades (e.g CAI, exhaust, tune, Pedal Commander, etc.)? This winter we took our ‘20 on three BOH trails and had a lot of fun? We’ve only done trails solo thus far but would really like to go with a group as you did on this trail. Being a newbie to this fun, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Maybe I should make a beginners guide to off roading video. Let me know if that’s something you might be interested in.
As for the Gladiator it has a 3” lift and 38” tires. The gearing is stock. It has the V6 and automatic transmission. I modified the factory rock rails and built my own front and rear bumpers. Stock exhaust, no pedal commander just the Tazer to recalibrate for tire size.
If you want to increase the capability of your JT by a ton just do a 2” lift or even a leveling kit and throw some 37” tires (they will clear if you have a Rubicon) and it will be way more capable!
Man, I love the looks of a Gladiator, but I've seen so many of them high center on some of the simplest obstacles/ get that that tail end on everything. It seems like you almost HAVE to have them on 37's at least to get by. What is your experience with this?? Thanks! 🤙🏼
Yeah if you’re serious about wheeling it 37s are the minimum for sure. It did well in Moab with all the climbs that’s where it excelled more than at the Rubicon.
Your gladiator is amazing , love the rear bumper. If you have time , I would like to know your coil springs set up . Are you on a 4 inch front coil and a 3 inch rear coil ? Or something else.
Thank you! Yes your exactly right. 4” springs in the front and 3” rears. Ass suspension and steering is from Synergy MFG
Did you just happen to link up with the other jeeps or were you out as a group
That’s what is cool about Easter Jeep Safari. You pick what trails you want to do and you go with a group. There are trail guides that help everyone. We didn’t know anyone there
Have not yet received my badges from hell’s revenge and fins and things back in April during EJS 😑
What are your thoughts on the tent now that you’ve used it more?
I plan on addressing this properly in a video later but I still really like the tent. I haven’t had any issues with it yet and it’s holding up nicely. For the price I think it can’t be beat
I just installed mine yesterday and set it up for the first time. I feel like it’s luxurious compared to what I’m used to from backpacking. So I’m thrilled!
that rear bumper home made?
Yes! Here is part one of building it ruclips.net/video/AzUuqaxkag4/видео.html I later added a swing out tire carrier and that video is on the channel as well
sell me one!! I'll be in the PRK in May @@BuiltForDirt
should a 3.21 with no lockers even bother?
You could definitely do it there was a similar Jeep there with is that did the trail.
Does anyone know if Jeep Badge of honors apply to Gladiators as well, or is it only wranglers ?
Any Jeep vehicle can get them so yes Gladiators, Cherokees, etc
