- I used my astrophotography to create a planetarium show with the help of Cathrin Machin and Lookup Tennessee. We used stunning visuals made up of photography from telescopes, Milky Way timelapses, and space art, and combined them with live music to create a one of a kind show that premiered at the Sudekum Planetarium.
We put on this show to raise money to donate telescopes schools in underserved areas to inspire the next generation's future in space.

Because of you, many of those kids will probably become future astronomers and astrophotographers. you changed the course of their life and its awesome to see. well done!
That's the hope! The future is space, and these kids deserve to be part of it. Thanks so much for the kind words 🙏
What an awesome cause!
Thanks so much! I truly believe smart telescopes are an amazing way to get younger folks interested in astro.
@@ianlauerastro Even though I still have a Star Tracker and a full rig to shoot astrophotography, I'm still considering getting one of those SeeStars! They just look like a lot of fun! Plus if I get bored of it I LOVE the idea of donating it to a local school!!!
TOTALLY fantastic...i bet you were in tears at that show...just seeing your stuff presented in such a unique way!
It was an incredible experience, Greg!
This is awesome, my friend!!!!
Thanks Tom! It was a lot of work but we had a great time!
Watching this made me tear up a few times. What a fantastic job you both did. And what a noble cause you did it for. You have my utmost respect.
Thank you so so much!
Absolutely glorious work!

Wowsers, I got goose-bumps at the end of that! What an amazing feat over such a compressed timescale - well done to both of you. Something you should be really proud of. Would love to have been able to come over and watch it!

Thats Amazing Ian,Bringing The Night Sky To People Who Would Never Have That Opportunity,How Incredible❤❤❤
Well done! Can't believe you guys managed such a cool show on such a short timeline.
What an amazing way to share our love of the night sky, and raise money for gear for schools. It is amazing how simple having a small telescope can be when it comes to changing someone's view of their world. Well done! Clear Skies! Great Neck Observatory on Astrobin. do you share there?
Great job! But: haha, don’t get me wrong but that show you did was way to much culture for the average American :-D
