Suzie is a fantastic educator, can't argue with that!🤗 But I also want to highlight the cameraman, because I think he doesn't get that much cred that he should have 😊. He is extremely competent in he's skills, which I would like him to know that it's much appreciated. The quality of the photo is phenomenal! The lighting, angles and the sharpness is top notch. And I fully enjoy the editing too. Like as the timing on the text is spot on to what Suzie says and that everything she explains is followed up with further explanation on screen. I remember years ago when you used to say that you don't like gels and are not sure about polygels. Now you are making amazing nails and selling the products. Of course, I know there has been an improvement in that class of products, and yours are amazing. Just thought about that while watching this video. 😊 I enjoy watching and I gave learned so much!
I do stand by that - Acrylic is still the very best but it requires a lot of skill. I do love hard gel, it’s a close second- I’ve worked with it for over 20 years These Hybrid Gels are excellent for learning which I included in my Brand because I am an educator 🩵
Waiting for the EZ Gel kit to arrive! I've been using a runny type of gel, and have done well enough that everyone thinks i went to a salon, not only by extending my length, but also my nail art. Cant Thank you enough Suzie, your videos are so informative, and love your attitude! I'm still a novice, but you give me confidence in doing my own nails!
I've been following you for about 9 years and my sister (who is a nail tech because of you, and calls you her hero!) recently gave me your ez gel kit and I just did these nails. They're obviously not great it is my first time... but they are still nice according to her. Just thought I would share this
Just ordered some EZ gel to do my own nails! It is so surreal buying your products when i have been watching your videos before you had your own brand! Love your videos ❤️❤️
I always file my ombre's. I know most don't, but I find that it makes the blend even more seamless, plus I eliminate the extra step of having to encapsulate. This turned out beautifully!! 💜
You explain things so well, I’ve done this with acrylic ( acrylic gal here) but seeing it done with gel is amazing and makes me want to dabble in gel as well 😂
I’ve done these a few times, all thanks to you! I watch your videos and that song “absolutely flawless” always comes to mind 😂. I watched a short of some French tips and just the tip was metallic white/pale silver cat eye. They were gorgeous!! I’d love to see you create that with hybrid and gel polish (so I can copy!) 🙏🏽 ❤
Can you do a video for at home users (I.e myself who is not a professional) about where to place the apex on a nail and how thick one should be? You’re literal magic and so is your technique. I just ordered the mini kit and I’m so excited to use it!
You make it look so easy…if only!! 😂😂 Maybe I’ll make that one of the things I really work on in 2025! 😉 I’m so intimidated by poly gels and acrylic-forming a nail seems absolutely daunting, but thank you for explaining and showing step by step! ❤️
Hi Susie, first of all your videos are beautiful and very educational. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and creations! I have had my acrylics constant for years. I want to start doing my own to save money but also I would enjoy it. However I am torn on what kit to start with that you offer. What would you suggest. I also want to learn forms 😊 thank you !
Hello Susie, I was just wondering if I am able to use a hard gel to cap this instead of the hybrid gel? Also thank you for so many tips and tricks with all your products I love them all. Also thank you for all your( and cameraman) hard work in helping teach all your beautiful work.
You could - but I think it’s better to use the hard gel first - gel is much harder and hybrid is softer. Best to have the hard gel as a foundation HOWEVER- if you did the hybrid first I would do it thin then add the hard gel as your structure layer so much thicker -
@ thank you very much for responding I am definitely going to try it tonight on myself of course I have your products so I can’t go wrong. You are a great teacher. Thank you again. 💕😊
Ombre is my favorite nail. I sure wish I was as good as you. 😊❤. Do you store your hybrid gel brush any special way, or do you just clean it with alcohol and put the cap on.
Yes I do remove the access but I don’t necessarily use alcohol to remove it all. But that is why I use a cap. The gel actually conditions the bristles so keeping it in there it’s not a problem.
@NailCareerEducation thank you. My brush was getting frayed, for lack of a better word. I clean it with alcohol and cap it. So I should just wipe it and cap it?
@@karendonoher-rager7635that’s what I do with my gel brushes. Learned that here when she started gels nails. I’ve had some of my brushes for years keeping them that way. The gel won’t cure if protected from light and too much cleaning will dry them out.
I have a question! Since they are gel, are they soak off? Or do you need to file it to take it off? Thank you, and I always love your videos! Your work and videos are what got me into starting my career as a nail tech ❤😊

Great explanation. Can you do one with acrylic? I really struggle with acrylic fades. Your hand files are the best I’ve found. Unfortunately my NCE efile is completely dead now 😞

Can't wait to try your products. Is there a difference between using 70% alcohol vs 90% I know that 70% contains more water so 90% evaporates more quickly but I'm sure there are other reasons!
@NailCareerEducation he'll yah imma save up for a few things lol 😆 think I'm a bit to trigger happy with the buy button so I'll just wait a little but knowing you ship to australia makes me happy lol.

Acid free primer is an adhesive for Acrylic not Gel. BRIDGE is an adhesive for GEL in particular. Oh and wouldn’t use Base coat after apply a primer/ they won’t be compatible
I just ordered this type of product, I figured I’d give it a try. I myself have been doing nails for 35 years, I’ve been doing acrylic for so long and for the last I don’t know 6yrs I’ve used the gel polish and I figured I would try to keep up with the times. Well, yes, you can, but there is a system to do that to make sure that you don’t give yourself the greenies or have lifting issues that rips the nail and makes it even thinner than what it might be already. That’s called a nail technician. Now nail polish you don’t need any training or skills to put on, but it’s certainly not gonna take care of your problem if you’re looking for a thick overlay. Before you do add something like that and what you’re looking for should be a hybrid gel or a hard gel or acrylic but all of those take skill and technique to use correctly.. You could go to a professional tech once you find one and have them just do the finger in question if you like.

Might be an obvious answer but can you still apply nail polish or gel polish to the ombre nails? Will removing the polish compromise the ombre design?
