Sergey, you are singlehandedly propping up the profile of ufa. The city needs to start paying because i doubt many of us would know what ufa was if it wasn't for you.
David Higan That's what a good idea means! I have started "Real Russia" when I leaved my job on TV and hadn't any money at all. But just moved an idea.
***** Wow, you used to worked at the TV station. I am wondering how you can be so confident in front of camera. Also, you are so professional for interviewing the people from your city in front of the camera. For me, even though I can speak English and Cantonese fluently but I am still camera shy all my life. I think your daughter is even braver than me in front of the camera. You are very creative to come up with the idea of Real Russia that is so informative and people have learn a lot. Good work and keep it up.
Jenny Kan My daughter is brave because she's the kid, and I am confident in front of camera because I have a huge experience working in media. You just need to practice more.
***** How many years have you been working in media? I am an Engineering Technician with over 10 years of experience and sometime I have to speak publicly on the stage. I believe I am already able to get over with speaking in public recently. What I meant my camera shy is I still can't face the video camera without speaking even though I had been preforming many dances on the stage when I was in high school. I really want to introduce my 2 cats on you tube just like any other people but too shy to speak or even looking at the camera. Last year, someone from news media wanted to find people randomly at the Calgary stampede park for interview about their experience during the Stampede because Calgary Stampede is so well know in the world. I was chosen but I wasn't able to face the camera publicly. It is so hard to understand why I am still too shy even though I have been very good looking in the my life and I can speak 2 languages like Cantonese and English fluently but I can only write and read in English.
Hey Sergey, i just knew , one of my friend was studying medicine in russia....n i told him that i know about russia through your channel....then he told me he actually stays in ufa and you have made a video on one of his friend....i felt so good... :-)
Hello Sergey, my name is Adam N. Gropper. I am from the United States of the state of Florida, I was from Russia myself in the City of Vladivostolk. Can you do a video of Vladivostolk? Thanks and have a great day
telsah1 Yes, Bashkortostan is in average about 400km both from the north to the south and from east to the west. I can say that a lot of things was shown but way way more are not yet.
Hey Sergey, Thank you for a very informative video of the new international terminal there in Ufa. I hope many people will travel to Ufa as a result of this episode. I am VERY impressed about the safety features to obtaining a taxi that prevents illegal taxi drivers from picking up travelers. I also liked the bank machines that will exchange foreign currency to rubles. Question: are there hotels and restaurants in Ufa that do accept Euros or US dollars as direct payment?
As usual great video Sergey!! You really stepped up your game with this video's special access. It would be awesome if you could make an episode about local universities :). Anyway, keep it up!! *ps: its an escalator not a treadmill lol
Another good choice for a video showing and telling all about travel to Ufa, Russia. I hope to go visit someday. Looking forward to more videos. Keep up the good work Sergey. :)
Very cool. Thanks for the interesting traveling information about the taxis and the money machine (ATM). I would love to visit there, maybe someday. Peace.
I only mention it because you are a dedicated student of the English language - the moving stairs are called escalators. The opening of an international airport is a key benchmark in the development of any major city. The future looks bright for Ufa.
Nice brand-new airport, congratulations to Ufa people! I hope all that new machinery are "made in Mother Russia", not only the objects of the souvenir departament... always national interest should go first. ...and all around protected by tall, graceful trees, great! I agree you should be paid for introducing in such a vivid way Ufa and the Republic of Bashkortostan to the external world. Actually what Real Russia is doing is sort of a pretty effective with tourism\diplomacy related work. So long, Real Russia team!
Awesome, I like that you re doing this series Sergey. If I ever get to Ufa, I will know how to do everything :D I have one of those dolls! I go it as a gift and I've had it for years now. I love it. It's really cool that the airport allowed you to film this!
Great video as always! It is great to see an example of some of the Russian airports are like especially the one in Ufa. I will definitely look forward to this series you have planned! If I get the chance to visit Ufa in the future, I'll certainly keep these videos in mind!
Good job Seryoga! I was one of your silent fans for a long time until now. I hope you will be able to bring a few more videos of other mayor airports to complete your work on that chapter of Airports in Russia enriching the Real experience of your viewers.
I noticed UT Air at your airport. I worked for Continental Airlines. We sold some of our 737-500s to UT Air. We got them ready for shipment to Russia. Hope they are serving you well :)
Wow. You must have put a ton of effort to get this kind of access to an International airport. Amazing! Kind of makes me wonder how much it would cost me to fly from Anchorage Alaska to Ufa. As always thanks for making this video!
Privet Sergey, dude, keep on posting your videos. We love them!!! Would be nice to have a video regarding Kazantip, it is a party on the black-sea. Have a nice day!
RantWithJeff But it is still doesn't mean you will not get through it! :) Thank you, Jeff, for a good comment! Hope you'll see a lot of Tatar ladies this night!
***** Would you like to make a video that has a million views? Or maybe ten million? I don't know if this would work or not. Not a guarantee. Would yo think about making a video about Russian police officers? About how the Russian police is handling Russian citizens? For example for vehicle traffic stops? How the Russian police does traffic stops? Do they yell at you? Do they arrest you? Or can you talk to them like they are a human being? I've seen some videos here about how Russian drivers are filming the Russian police when they get stopped or pulled over for traffic stops. If you could see why I am getting this idea is because about the American police conduct to American citizens. The video idea is to show the contrast between Russian police conduct vs. American police conduct to its citizens. About how the Russian police is not brutal when dealing with citizens. The idea may bring millions of views and thousands of new subscribers since police conduct is a big problem in America right now. In Russia it is not. Have you thought about doing something like that? To bring this news out?
You must have received official clearance to make this series, congrats, nice job making it looks safe, clean and welcoming. Tell your camera man not to pay too much attention to the cute girls, it detracts from the credibility of this being something official and professional.
Yosemitebear62 I saw a Double Rainbow the other day when I was sitting on my balcony. It didn't do much for me. Just took a few pictures and went back inside. Why didn't I get the great holyness-feeling?
***** Well, my idea is, you can still keep the cute girls in a serious introduction video like this, but edit it so the girls are shown at the end of the video. Keep the sweetness but not to detract.
Im a fan of airports and airlines...This is great looking airport! Plus I have it on my bucket list to fly Aeroflot and S7 airlines. Aeroflot has really been doing an upgrade on their image over the years so I'd love to see what it's like first hand.
Brent Braniff I flew both and was satisfied. But now for flying to Moscow I prefer Pobeda. This is a low coster of Aeroflot. The cheapest flights ever!
This is even bigger than the international airport in Calgary and Edmonton. The bigger one in Canada I have known of is Toronto and Vancouver. Thank you Sergey and Nikolay that have been doing a great job. I have learn so much about Russian cultures and Geography. I would like to visit some day in your country as I said in the past but unfortunately I lost my job now.
FingerDatPat hi=) you may watch this good fresh documantary - a bit about railways, a bit about history of Russia and some beautifull shots of Russian streets.---- > watch?v=KgVoscvHWIU
FingerDatPat Sergey and Company took a train from Moscow to Sochi in one of the episodes of RR. I really liked that episode, seeing 4 Russian guys marveling at the landscape of their country. The enthusiasm really came across.
Sergei, Americans call those moving stairs an escalator. Yes they're really the same thing, almost - a treadmill and an escalator - but one is stationary and used mainly for exercise and the other is a moving staircase, going either up or down.
Brother, I would be there with bells on, but about 6 months ago I came down with cancer of the lower spine and pelvis. I guess this old Alabama boy will remain in Alabama. You're really doing great things with your channel, Sergey!
Very interesting episode. The airport seems a little empty? The security. You mention Boeing and Airbus, but forget your lovely local Tupolevs and Yakovlev in the background :-)
Steen Pedersen Aircraft Yakovlev and Tupolev become obsolete. They are replaced by more modern and efficient Boeing and Airbus. The civil aircraft industry in decline in Russia. From new development only Sukhoi Superjet 100 and MS-21.
***** Are you in the doldrums. In Russia everything evolves and Super jet 100 is created in the New Russia, for the first time in many years.... In Decline we were up to Putin, when Yeltsin, the American puppet has driven us into poverty because sold the country on the cheap..... Where were you when Russia was in decline?! You slept?! By the way, cheap artificial sanctions will not stop us! Investments are only growing, and no one foreign company not gone withdrawn from the Russian market, only reduced the state! Because it's profitable! And they spit on sanctions!
Sergey and Nikolay...looks like modern airports around the world...it is amazing that you have such open access...it would simply not be allowed in the US
Sergey, I saw the Matryoshka dolls that say "UFA" on the front of the doll, in the gift shop in the airport. Does the gift shop or airport have a website where I can find out if I can purchase a souvenir doll? Thanks Sergey, any information appreciated! Your videos are GREAT, keep on truckin'! Tim in California
nonameskypeislame One day you'll become a specialist and will make good money! So that's when you can get back to this idea! Thank you for a good comment!
Is International Airport of Ufa located within the borders of Ufa city itself? Here in Indonesia, most of major airports located outside of it's supposed cities periphery. Example, Surabaya's Juanda International Airport (actually, i live not far from it), but it is located in Sidoarjo, a regency located south of Surabaya. Or Jakarta's Soekarno Hatta International airport which was located in another province (Tangerang, Banten not D.K.I Jakarta itself).
How is the cost Portugal to UFA? :-) Searching deepest insight there are there anything Portuguese? just for curiosity when I saw Italian store in there.
I would love to make a video showing the airports in the United States, but I would probably get arrested and charged with a crime. No fake - no bullshit. :-(
Bob DeFalco It is legal, but people being what they are, you could get hassled. The basic, basic law is that anything in the public view is legal to photograph. But people being what they are, photographers are subject to much hassle. The best approach is to ask first. It's a very flaky area of the law. I used to advise professionals on the subject of photography law a long time ago, but things have gotten tighter since then. But a friendly approach to the authorities can take you a long way.
cyberspacecadette It's been going on for a long time even before that. There was a spate of hijackings in the early sixties, by idiots who wanted to go to Cuba. They'd land in Cuba, and go straight to prison, and then somebody else would hijack another plane the next week. "Fly to Cuba" became a standing joke. Every time there's a hijacking, and there have been MANY before 9/11, there's been another inch of "security" added, always trying to prevent the *previous* hijacking. It's a joke, but not to airline and airport workers, who are among the most paranoid and humorless people in the world.
Susan Evalyn. It's not only sexist, but something like (but not quite) racist. Beauty is not concentrated in any country, but spread evenly across the entire planet. You might think the people of one continent look strange or even ugly, but after you have been there a while, you see it. It's in the eye of the beholder.
shaggybreeks i have to disagree, shagg. everywhere sergey goes....all i see are beautiful women! every tv program about russia. my conclusion: russia's the land of beautiful girls!
Here in Guatemala (centeramerica) I've never seen a ATM like that. Mybe at the airport we have somthing like that but I havent been at the airport in a long time.
Sergey! You really do much more advertising for your city and region with your videos, as any other tourist agency .. you and Niko have done a good job! Greetings from Hungary by the way ....Are you already flown?
Eusepio1957 We do our best because it's just interesting to see if we can launch an integration of people all over the world to the city of Ufa! Greetings back from Russia! P.S. to say honest I am not sure what you asked me :)
You had mentioned the BRIC's in an earlier video..the delegates will all come through UFA...how exciting..please elaborate on the BRIC's,,,will they stay in or around UFA? Another good video...you are a promoter of UFA and REAL RUSSIA...are you a bit of a celebrity to the people of UFA?
Thanks for a good words. Here in Ufa I am known around active part of people - opinion leaders and trendsetters, but usual people actually do not know me because somehow it is happened so that I never promoted my show here.
Nice to see new content up :) Its crazy you got clearance to film at the airport like that Sergey, here in the U.S. ever since 9/11 you cant fart at the airport without being tackled, strip-searched, and then interrogated on suspicion of terrorism let alone actually film anything behind the scenes :/
Ufa Airport provides non-stop flights to Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Prague, Istanbul, Dubai... To the other major world cities, stop-overs are needed. For example, via Moscow, via Istanbul, via Dubai... Some summer resorts or cities (for example, Barcelona) are connected by non-stop seasonal or charter flights. See more on Wikipedia. Keyword: "Ufa International Airport", section: "Airlines and Destinations".
Another great video, Sergey. How far is the airport from the City of Ufa? For me it is about 11 miles or about 17 kilometers. By the way, in English you were on an escalator to reach the second floor.
Hey Sergei! Awesome video, I was just wondering if you can make a video about how the Russian government works. I know you don't want to take sides, and I'm not asking that, but you always say "Republic of Bashkortostan" - does that mean you have a regional government in your state? I'm curious on how such a large country manages to work :) Keep up the awesome work
SuperGoldenGhost In ep.100 where I was telling more about the city of Ufa, I mention that Russia is a federative government which is consisted of 85 subjects of Russia - republics, regions, autonomies which have it's own local government and can even have an own constitution and laws, in case if they are not contrary the Federal Law of Russia. What about the republics... this is the regions, but the regions which is dedicated to certain indigenous ethnic groups of nations. Bashkortostan to Bashkirs, Tatarstan to Tatars and so.
Greg Stabler Never been to the United States or anywhere outside of Russia. But my English is good because I just studied it at school and I really wanted to learn that.
Thank you Sergey and Real Russia for your handwork!! Please make more videos. You guys are awesome ;)
Absolutely awesome video! Congratulations Sergey! Best regards from Brazil!

Another great Real Russia video. My "home" airport in New Jersey is Newark International airport and its not nearly as nice as this one.
Helpful tips. Thanks for the informative video man! I want to try Bashkir honey.
Wow, the prices are surprisingly low. I'm a bit shocked. 7:22 Shocked in a very good way. $1100 round trip from JFK to Ufa. Sweet.
I remember working at PDX for years doing that kind of work. I can't say I miss it, but it was pretty awesome to operate the equipment.

Can you show a video of old and new toilets of Ufa? The typical (old) and the modern?
i would love to see about your Trains in Ufa/Russia
Me too!
FingerDatPat hi=) you may watch this good fresh documantary - a bit about railways, a bit about history of Russia and some beautifull shots of Russian streets.---- >
watch?v=KgVoscvHWIU
FingerDatPat Sergey and Company took a train from Moscow to Sochi in one of the episodes of RR. I really liked that episode, seeing 4 Russian guys marveling at the landscape of their country. The enthusiasm really came across.
Elis D I've seen that one, and it's one of the best. There are quite a few documentaries on the Trans-Siberian on RUclips.
FingerDatPat +1
Sergei, Americans call those moving stairs an escalator. Yes they're really the same thing, almost - a treadmill and an escalator - but one is stationary and used mainly for exercise and the other is a moving staircase, going either up or down.
Murray Aronson Got ya! thanks for comment!
Finally you upgraded the mic 👍
***** Yes, a little. I've got a wind protection (which, by the way, was not always good) and clipped it to the shirt.
Karl Pershing As I said, it is a brand new airport and it's not working in a full power yet. Opening was less than a month ago.
***** But the mic sounds inside a plastitc can or something.
No
+Karl Pershing on the cheek? Sergei is married :)
'Aeroflot' is that the main airline of Russia? Great video!
The Piston Head Yes, by the official stats of 2014, Aeroflot is the leading Russian airline. Then goes TransAero, UTAir, S7 and Russia.
Going to Ufa tommorow evening.
Those airfares are very reasonable! Even a poor boy like me could afford to visit Ufa!
Thank you for showing us the airport of Ufa.
RonRay So then I am waiting for you! You've been with the channel from the very beginning!
Brother, I would be there with bells on, but about 6 months ago I came down with cancer of the lower spine and pelvis. I guess this old Alabama boy will remain in Alabama.
You're really doing great things with your channel, Sergey!
RonRay This is so sad to hear! Damn! Wish you the soonest recovery!!!
Steen Pedersen It seems empty because, as I said, it was opened less than a month ago and not working in a full power yet.
*****
Sergey and Nikolay...looks like modern airports around the world...it is amazing that you have such open access...it would simply not be allowed in the US
***** Thanks!
Tim in California
you would make a good mayor
When I go to Russia I'm definitely going to see Ufa.
Perry Jones Ufa is going to be the first most known city of Russia, after Moscow and Saint Petersburg!
I'm really excited about this series. Would love to visit Ufa, but 600-700 dollars from Stockholm is quite much for a student unfortunately ^^
nonameskypeislame One day you'll become a specialist and will make good money! So that's when you can get back to this idea! Thank you for a good comment!
***** the only thing i don't like about the matrouska dolls.... They are always full of them selfs.
Arjan Wilbie You can leave only biggest one, and give away all the rest to somebody! :)
Lol i get that joke. nice one
Altruistic :)
The check in counters at Sydney Kingsford Smith are never this quiet.
can you make a playlist from episode 1...i wanna watch from episode 1 but i dont want to click the videos 1 by 1...
Or Jakarta's Soekarno Hatta International airport which was located in another province (Tangerang, Banten not D.K.I Jakarta itself).
dekaredfire It is located in 20km from the city of Ufa itself.
How is the cost Portugal to UFA? :-) Searching deepest insight there are there anything Portuguese? just for curiosity when I saw Italian store in there.
I would love to make a video showing the airports in the United States, but I would probably get arrested and charged with a crime. No fake - no bullshit. :-(
Bob DeFalco Everything got very strict after the 9/11 bombings on the US.
cyberspacecadette It sure did.
Ballbags70 I mean the Twin Towers.
What about driving to Ufa from Europe
? How are the road conditions?
Oh man, why are Russian women so attractive compared to German girls?
Must be the Slavic genes ;)
Why all this constant obsession with womens' looks?! It is very sexist! Thank God that women are more mature!!!
Susan Evalyn. It's not sexist, it's natural because we are sexual beings and therefore I appreciate women's appearance.
Susan Evalyn. It's not only sexist, but something like (but not quite) racist. Beauty is not concentrated in any country, but spread evenly across the entire planet. You might think the people of one continent look strange or even ugly, but after you have been there a while, you see it. It's in the eye of the beholder.
ThisIsBoomerTV - Hip Hop All Day Every Day I believe it is depends to each certain taste.
shaggybreeks i have to disagree, shagg. everywhere sergey goes....all i see are beautiful women! every tv program about russia. my conclusion: russia's the land of beautiful girls!
I'll be there on Monday ....can you pick me up at the airport? :P
AFK PREPPER Have seen it too late!
Awsome thing with the ATM. I've never seen a service like that.
Carlos Andrés Girard Lucas Isn't every ATM works like that? How is that in your country?
Here in Guatemala (centeramerica) I've never seen a ATM like that. Mybe at the airport we have somthing like that but I havent been at the airport in a long time.
Hi , i wanna come to study in Ufa Oil Engineering University , and i wanna from you to give me an advice ??
What's the difference between "everyone" and "everybody"? Great video. I'm glad they finally upgraded the airport.
Sjneft e there is no difference between the two words. perhaps slightly in their usage, i.e. singular or collective.
Olivia Gomez the point is: do you use them both in the same sentence?
Sjneft e I think you probably can. give me an example. I can tell you if it is awkward or not.
Great video.
Sergey! You really do much more advertising for your city and region with your videos, as any other tourist agency ..
you and Niko have done a good job!
Greetings from Hungary
by the way ....Are you already flown?
Eusepio1957 We do our best because it's just interesting to see if we can launch an integration of people all over the world to the city of Ufa! Greetings back from Russia!
P.S. to say honest I am not sure what you asked me :)
*****
opppss Sorry but I use google translator :-)
Did you even fly bevor as a passenger?
Ciao!
Mix Pix
Nice to see new content up :) Its crazy you got clearance to film at the airport like that Sergey, here in the U.S. ever since 9/11 you cant fart at the airport without being tackled, strip-searched, and then interrogated on suspicion of terrorism let alone actually film anything behind the scenes :/
eganzale There no point to be crazy about all of those who will show a good intentions.
Good and very nice arport of ufa 👍
Ufa Airport provides non-stop flights to Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Prague, Istanbul, Dubai... To the other major world cities, stop-overs are needed. For example, via Moscow, via Istanbul, via Dubai... Some summer resorts or cities (for example, Barcelona) are connected by non-stop seasonal or charter flights. See more on Wikipedia. Keyword: "Ufa International Airport", section: "Airlines and Destinations".
maksim5078 That's it!
I love when he said trend mill 🤗
Another great video, Sergey. How far is the airport from the City of Ufa? For me it is about 11 miles or about 17 kilometers. By the way, in English you were on an escalator to reach the second floor.
Thanks! You probably missed this moment, but I mention it is located in 20km far from the city.
I guess I did miss it, but thank you for your answer.
George Ealem you're welcome!
***** Okay, thanks! I will check out ep.100 to learn more, as well :)
SuperGoldenGhost Good!
Hey dude cool video, actually I just watched your first video and then skipped to your last, your English is very good, have you ever been to America?
Greg Stabler Never been to the United States or anywhere outside of Russia. But my English is good because I just studied it at school and I really wanted to learn that.
I can tell from your first video and now it's really good, you should come to the US some day it's not all the different.
