Meet Maurice, headcount AG Founder and Managing Director

Maurice Thornton is the Founder and Managing Director of headcount AG, one of Switzerland's leading life science recruitment agencies.
He actively leads searches for multinational clients and smaller start-ups looking to open their first offices in Switzerland.
He also lectures on the University of St. Gallen MBA program and is a regular speaker and panel member at ETH and the University of Zürich.
Previously, he was responsible for staffing and recruitment at Amgen, a leading biotech organisation; organisational restructuring projects at the WHO in Geneva; and leading the Life Sciences practice at Michael Page, a global recruitment firm.
He is a scientist and has held research positions with the Addiction Research Foundation in Toronto and Elan Pharmaceuticals in Ireland. Maurice holds degrees in Toxicology and Psychology from the University of Toronto.
