This is impressive....the recent changes done on Estonian e-residency is a plus for Businesses less than three years; like ours!

Thank you Hannah for the explanations. I have got my e-Residency card last week. With the reduction in share capital requirements, removal of contact person in Estonia are expected to go off, I might have to think of postponing my company registration to Feb 2023 😀

I don't have any funds generating from the business yet. Is it possible to open the business without the contact person/address service if I'm based in an EU country? Can I put my address/contact in another EU country instead?

If the management board of your Estonian company (or a body substituting therefore) is located abroad, you will need a designated contact person in Estonia, as required by the Commercial Code. This service can be obtained from a virtual office service provider. Please read more from our Knowledge Base: learn.e-resident.gov.ee/hc/en-us/articles/360000624858-Contact-person-legal-address
