Hey everyone! Just a heads up: I skipped the Dispute process and went straight to Appeal for this video. This means Disney has 7 days to respond. If they reject it, the video might get a DMCA takedown and I'll get a copyright strike. But don't worry-I've won all my Disputes, Appeals, and DMCA Counters before. If this video DOES get taken down, no worries, it'll be back once I submit a DMCA Counter, as long as RUclips doesn't get in the way... 🙄 Thanks for your support and understanding!
"Us fans" in San Diego heard from an ATV'r that "they were making a Star Wars Movie out at Buttercup Valley". So we all piled into out cars and raced out there to see it! Jabba's ship was HUGE, and we kinda saw the skiffs, Carrie on the deck, and Boba fly. We also got to talk to Mark through the fence for over an hour! Nicest guy ever!! What a cool experience! We went out there many times!!
@@petzxyThe tongue/mouth was always part of the sarlaac. They just for whatever reason in the orginal release didnt have it. Dont know the reason but they didnt add it.
Is it just me or is this the coolest movie action scene ever. Every time I'm in the mood to see a good action scene on YT, I think of this. I saw this for the first time when I was 6 years old and I just turned 45 and I still get goosebumps when AR2 opens his compartment ready to blast off the lightsabor.
Lucas should have never altered this scene. I find Han's original dialogue to be much better than "I can see a lot better now". Comes off as less sarcastic and more "I know I can't see I'm doing my best to help you". This holds up extremely well.
Wow! I didn't even realize that was altered. For the longest time, I always thought it was 'I can see a lot better,' but originally it was 'Trust me'? Good catch, my man! I agree, the original line feels more sincere and fitting for the scene.
This has bothered me for YEARS! This scene is my favorite of the trilogy and to alter "Trust me" was just...unnecessary. I love that it's back, at least here.
The shot of the Millenium Falcon coming right at us was almost overpowering on the big screen, with the engine sound blasting out of the THX. Everybody went, "WHOA!" and ducked. I was 16, and it was awesome.
Lando's "YEARGH!" when the Sarlacc grabs his leg makes me giggle every single time. Has for 40 (ye gods!) years now. :) (Also the disconcerted noise Vader makes when Luke kicks him down the stairs later on. Least intimidating Sith Lord moment. :)
Welcome and thanks for watching! I saw another upload of this in 4K but man it looked like garbage! Many have stated the 4K clips I've uploaded look way better than the 'official' released by Disney....Now I know what they're talking about...and wow I went on a bit of a tangent haha...anyway, glad you enjoyed!
I had no idea Han's original line was "Trust me!" instead of "It's alright I can see a lot better now!" Really neat to see this! I grew up on one of the 2000s DVD releases of the Special Editions, so the old Sarlacc and stuff like that were never in my version.
I'm sorry, this is the greatest shit alive! From opening weekend until now on RUclips and beyond. ❤ Thank you George and too your Team. Ya'll fuckin rule, man! ✊🏿
Definitely prefer the original sarlacc. And look at the Princess. Even though they're an entirely different species you can't blame Jabba for shackling a lovely wench like that. What a great scene. And many thanks for posting. May the Force be with you.. even if it's a bit dark x
I saw this in cinema back in 1983 and though I don't remember much from the first viewing (I was 13 years old), but this moment when they flew up in space I do remember the feeling and that was - Yeeah!! 🙂
Fun fact, the green lightsaber was initially a very big surprise to audiences considering nobody had ever seen or heard of a green lightsaber! Same kind of thing as the double-bladed lightsaber (however ROTJ had a much more positive audience reaction than TPM). The original trilogy is such a masterpiece ❤

You know, I think I liked the altered line of Han Solo saying “It’s all right I can see a lot better now!”. I wonder if Harrison Ford adlibbed that line but it ended up being altered in the final cut.
One of the worst things you can ever do - is watch one of the most anticipated films of all time - on a bootleg 4:3 VHS - on a 14 inch tv - one afternoon with the sun streaming through the windows - months before the film's release - instead of seeing it in a cinema.
