Funny and Interesting Sports Rounds On QI! 10 hilarious sporting rounds on qi featuring Stephen Fry, Sandi Toksvig, Alan Davies and others... #sportscomedy #QI #StephenFry
People who are fans of QI are interested in sports, animals, and EVERYTHING. That’s why every show is so anticipated. You’re never sure what you’ll learn. There is nothing like it on American TV. We would be at each other’s throats less than five minutes into the show!
If Ross slapping Alan had been on American QI, there'd have been some bs twitter explosion and ego-driven celebrity beef. Assuming the show got past episode 1 because standup comics in America aren't funny.
So true about people being lifted while bell ringing. As young altar-boys we would purposely let ourselves be lifted into the air by the bell rope. It was the biggest church bell in N.Ireland.
5:13 We were inexplicably playing darts in high school PE, and a fellow student hiffed one into my shin. Got a few laughs, but there was nobody to sue.
Some years ago at the Servite Order priest's house in Dublin, a visiting Italian priest saw a painting over a mantlepiece (I think) and immediately recognised it as a Caravaggio worth aboy 50 million pounds at the time.. It is now on permanent loan to the National Gallery.
Scottish born ice hockey player Tony Hand, started playing professionally at 14 years old. Nicknamed "Two Point Tony" he amased more than 4000 points from 1983 to 2015, more than any other professional player at any level.
I guess you can score a lot of goals playing for absolute dog meat “professional” teams like the Belfast Giants, the Sheffield Steelers or the Manchester Phoenix. 😂😂
I've heard of someone being killed shooting a longbow, the upper limb broke hitting him in the temple and entering his brain. Having had a longbow break on myself, luckily the lower limb so no harm done.
👏🏻👏🏻 FINALLY!! Thank you! His captions/titles are ALWAYS either flat out intentionally completely false. Several years ago when I was just getting into BTS/KPOP and didn’t know any better, I sent him several messages to him about how inappropriate and harmful his titles were. He actually responded . . . like a total weasel. He said that HE didn’t come up with the - RUclips was responsible for them what BS! I vent believe he gets away with this trash. He adds nothing of value to the KPOP social media and fandom. Thank you for addresses the issue.
Regarding de Coubertin and anonymous competitors. Fencers do wear a mask. Also in 1900 Paris, the men's coxed pairs winners used an unknown French boy as their cox. The winners had used a 60 kg man as their cox in the semis. They saw that one of the other semi-finalists used a boy weighing about 25 kg. They recruited an unknown French boy to substitute in the Final.
World Eskimo Indian Games. Another event the USA has labelled as "World" when only people of the USA compete in it. Much like the World Series in Baseball that only had USA-based teams playing until the Montreal Expos joined Major League Baseball in 1969. Unlike the Arctic Winter Games which have athletes from the indigenous peoples of the circumpolar region that have been held since 1970. So indigenous people of Canada, the USA, Scandinavia, Russia (until the invasion of the Ukraine I believe), etc.
@@jonoleech7832 you mean how they brought death and pain all around the world for decades and exploided indigenous people and their countries resources?! you are right, we should remember that ^^
🎉 The building at 1.10 looks like the Marina bay hotel in Singapore. Yes, the original entry point for Australia’s indigenous peoples was most likely Indonesia. Yes, the Chinese have had a long history of Australian emigration, particularly in the gold rush years. They also beat Cook and the Dutch for navigation, mapping parts of the north of Australia in the 1400’s Finally, we’re not really entitled to be upset by this one. The grief we give the Poms about their country kinda disqualifies us from being offended.
Ze Germans never invaded Holland before 1940, England has tried numerous times throughout the centuries and Holland invaded England twice (sorta), so historically seeing the English and Dutch should be more rivals to eachother as the Germans and Dutch should.
I respectfully disagree!! Why even compare! Sandi had to pull off the hardest shoes to fill ever, so she didn’t try, she just put on her own shoes and walked her own walk!!! They’re both amazing. Period!
Why is it called the World Eskimo Indian Olympics when the inuits as they're officially called deem the word Eskimo to be racist and this is supposed to an Olympic event? 🤔🤨
Sitting in a studio where your "Job" is, you are not allowed to say "Get a life" about anyone since you apparently in a studio so your job is fake anyway.
Good point! I mean, why would anyone who is a fan of QI want to watch a video about history, geography, science, literature, art, medicine, films, music or any other subject?! I only watch the QI videos about nothing.
As an American, I do not understand how the Europeans can call Socialists - even National socialists - “far-right.” Socialism, by definition, is far-left, isn’t it?
1) Socialism is not far-left, in most countries social Democrats are center-left and one of the largest political movements in Europe. Very mainstream. I know in USA the word is misused as a slur, to oppose progressive ideas quite normal in the rest of the world, like mandatory paid motherhood leave or other worker’s protection. They are not extreme, but USA is extremely backward. 2) national socialists (nazionalsosilistisch) were directly opposed to socialism and Communism (which IS far-left) typical far-right behaviour is concentrating on national identity, a strong leader and the military (like Republicans). The Nazies posed as a worker’s party but was funded and supported by German industrials. Like Republicans. So, socialism is not far-left and Nazies were anti-socialists despite the deliberately misleading name.
@@spiffydaily8855 yeah, it was pretty funny being called an incel from someone who hates on sports in general 🤣 there's a very good chance they instantly jumped to calling me an incel because they're an incel themselves
“Surely they’re all on the far right” gets me every time I hear it 🤣😂🤣😂
You can hear him trying to get that line out a few times but everyone's talking. It was worth the wait.
Saw it coming a mile away but it still knocked me down 😅
The smile on his face after that one hit is glorious
Do you know England is farther right than America? Remember that when laughing 😂
Though being socialists, they were actually far left…
"This contravenes my superinjunction" omg miss you Sean😂
That cut to Brian having Sean halfway to the floor while playing that game had me dead 🤣
Brian Blessed is an absolute Yeti of a man. Absolutely impressive specimen.

The irony of the British actor sitting in a studio talking down and laughing about any other job than their own.

At around 25 to quote our beloved Sean Lock :l- I hate showjumping😂😂😂
The Emperor Nero entered the Olympic games and won every event he entered. He won the chariot race, even after falling out of his chariot.
I read about that. Apparently all the other competitors suffered catastrophic chariot malfunctions right after he fell out. What are the odds! 😂
This was most sufficient
Show jumping, was anyone else hoping there'd be little lakes of 🔥 per Sean Locke
I'm sorry, but "Stanley Knife Matthews" is the best joke in this video.

I think she is great as well Stephen. Love them both.❤❤❤

I love Stephen as question master. Personally, Sandys good but she’s no Stephen.
That reasoning for why one set of games on the olympics survived and the others didn't makes no sense whatsoever.
It makes plenty of sense. The olympics was intended for amatuers. The art events were filled with professional artists.
I think the commenter was thinking of nowadays where plenty of competitors are full-time athletes
