That track day was an experiment for the 4age 20v Silvertop, the recording being with an open plenum and a very tired +300,000km motor. With the track times, and later 1/4 mile times, I built a new plenum. Dyno evidence that followed only showed an average 3kW gain throughout the run, but resulted in a 0.4sec improvement on the 1/4 mile. The track day showed an improvement of 1.2sec on a sub 1min track. In fact, it's the last track day I have been to.
