😅 if I had sat on his name for a moment id probably of got that as it just makes sense looking at it. I guess thats what happens when I record late night 😜
I'm all for reissues, supporting the original developers and getting some of these rare expensive games in the hands of new players and next generation gamers- I just wish they would have a more 'Bitmap Bureau' approach for those of us that do not care for all the pack ins. A lot of people, myself included, collect cart only and I would love this option. Or even a rom only download option if it had any additional, extras or bonus content to load up on my flashcart.
Iam8bit is highway robbery. Every one of their releases is a joke. Retro-Bit, on the other hand, is holding a master class in how to reissue retro games. They know everyone who wants a copy of Battletoads has it at this point. I'm also one million percent certain they know better than to use the World Warrior rom if they're going to reissue Street Fighter II. Seriously Iam8bit, do you even game bro? Because Retro-Bit's out in these streets, making you look like a bunch of carpetbaggers with your $100 releases of dirt common games.
Thanks MLP. Although i’m not in the market for these myself, i think Retro-bit does a pretty good job on their products & i’m always happy to see what they’re up to.

If Retro Bit plans to do another round of the Toaplan shooters collection, they gotta bring MUSHA, Grind Stormer, Twin Cobra, Twin Hawk and Slap Fight MD. I'd get those for sure. Otherwise, I pre-ordered Zero Wing and Hellfire since I've been meaning to get them for quite some time. I'm very stoked!
I don't find the "All Your Base Are Belong To Us" as funny as the fact that the perpetrator goes by the name of a plural entity when it should be singular.
I believe the line is taken from a true event that interrupted British television broadcasts back in 1977. Pretty wild stuff. Check it out if you haven't. The Bible has a single, pluralized person in it too..... Legion.
Damn, I already have these games (got the PAL version of Zero Wing), but this is a nice collection... I could probably make up the cost just by selling Truxton, lol.
@@TheKayliedGamerChannel-RUclips Not sure why you're laughing? Is it because I have as much chance of getting neo geo games from retrobit as you do of actually having a youtube career. Your wasting your time and ours with that content. Lol🤣 🤫
When you realize there are still at least 3 more Toaplan shooters (Twin Cobra, Grind Stormer, Slap Fight) on the Genesis that they could still put out... As far as MUSHA, I sort of wonder who owns the rights to that. Even though Toaplan published the JP Mega Drive cart, it was still developed by Compile. And other Aleste games were all published by different companies, too. I think Hamster owns Toaplan's IPs, but M2 owns the Aleste IP?
This is impressive. If I got the money I would buy it. Sadly, these games are just too damn expensive considering how much I earn... I'm just happy that raspberry pi exists, I suppose.
I'm hoping Hellfire is revised from the original release from back in the day as the sound engine has a bug causing slow music on a large number of Genesis hardware revisions. The only ones that are unaffected are the Genesis model 1 (except the VA7 revision) and two specific revisions of the Genesis model 2 (VA2 and VA2.3). Every other revision will have slower than normal music. Any word on whether RetroBit has done anything to Hellfire to address this?
Got the email for this from retrobit and I was excited and a bit upset since I have to buy all these thing coming out for switch and now gotta get this
I'm a huge fan of Toaplan, and I'd be all over these if: the packaging had the official Sega logos, the cartridges were black, and Slap Fight was one of the games.
the Price of original cartridges (used ebay Prices) is negligible at this moment here in the united kingdom so should I buy these new reproductions or should I buy the original Pal uk cartridges
Honestly I always prefer originals less the new versions offer something over those. It also depends on price, if the original is like $500 forget it. So in this case if you want these games and prefer original over flashy re-releases and the prices are good then why not the originals? Or if the extras tickle your balls go for the re-release? I believe the only game here that has additions is Zero Wing with all the 30+ Japanese endings being translated.
Yeah there are adapters, even brook recently released an adapter that lets you use a lot of different controllers. Pretty cool stuff, but I am really interested in that DC controller Retrobit has shown in the past... Officially licensed by Sega looks very similar to the original controller but has 6 face buttons like the Saturn pad.
I never understood why truxton and hellfire are so coveted, as a matter of fact, none of the four games are that good, I personally prefer bio hazard battle and trouble shooter
I’m excited to add these. The quality is good enough that I don’t feel bad about adding reproduction carts to my collection
These are official and better than the original versions! No need to even worry
The flair comment made my day
I picked up the Metalstorm. Shame I have these games already, I wish they would have done MUSHA. Still cool though.
Anyone else glad its Castlemania Gamss handling distribution and not someone else?
they're reliable AF.
Thank you :)
"How are you gentlemen?
All your base belong to us!"
Since all of those are licensed and official games, i will add them to my collection mainly because the way they look
Thats a pretty cool set. I'll be picking em up for sure. Thanks Madlittlepixel for looking out and keeping us posted.
We could all use a little extra flair in our lives.

Almost as many as the PC Engine ✌️

Those are games i saw on amazon and eba for 20 bucks cib each a loooong time ago. Nice to see them get rereleased. Now i can actually play them.

The original bad translation should still be an option.

M2 is supposed to put out Truxton II, Out Zone, Sky Shark, Twin Cobra digitally on modern consoles. I will wait for those. :)
M2 are porting Toaplan’s entire back catalogue so these will be included as well.
@@NB-1 I rather support M2 on these. Toaplan rereleases are waaay overdue and not everyone has the luxury of spending 2 grand on a cab and a PCB
Nice for console collectors but M2’s Toaplan ports are the ones to wait for.
Great information!
OMG! This is awesome!! I can’t wait.

without a doubt, a nice, cool set there 😉

Too bad they don't release them as a compilation on 1 cart.

Kind of wish they included Eliminate Down, we never got a NA release.
Toaplan didnt make that though. It was PAL Soft who put out Magical Chase on TG-16
Oh crap you're right, think I confused it with something else.
Would be good if they fixed Tatsuijins sound speed.. then that’s worth it.

Bit of a weird choice as none of these games are expensive, picked to Truxton for around £40 recently and the others are less.
In America Truxton is a $100 game
@@dangunheadachron1603 interesting, wasn't aware of that. PAL one is about £40 and the Japanese around the same, not exactly rare i guess.
