Madden implementing that feature was one of the worst decisions they ever made. It is absolutely garbage and super unrealistic. I throw a 50 yard bomb and you're telling me it takes 30+ seconds to get down the field to be able to hike it(keep in mind the delay they make you wait for AFTER getting to the line as your qb just gingerly trots up acting like there isn't like 20 seconds left.) IRL if a huge play happens they are probably lined up in under 10-15 seconds ready to snap it. Meanwhile the CPU will be able to get the line in like 3 seconds and hike the ball as soon as the qb gets there. Shit is fake af.

The gameplay looks improved. Franchise looks about the same aside from some nice aesthetic improvements. The cutscenes are improved but don’t impress me. The scenarios need to be streamlined. There needs to be quick access to information like personality types or stats when asked questions. The dialogue is awkward and unrealistic too.

They're making a big deal out of the rookies coming onto the stage to get their jersey which is fair enough, but it seems like that only happens for the AI picks and it skips over your own ones? Isn't that kind of missing the whole point? Just having the names pop onto the board behind Goodell isn't ideal either - it'd be nice if it flashed up on the screen with some kind of TV presentation splash like it does in the real-life draft. Right now you're kind of squinting at the background to see what's happening, feels a bit awkward. It's a neat idea, just don't think they've really nailed a couple of things that'd really have made it excellent.

I really hope some of those season stat goals can scale with your quarter length. We run a 32-man league with 7 minute quarters and try to keep player stats realistic over the course of the year. There's no way I'd get a receiver to 100 catches without force-feeding him and ignoring everyone else.
