Covet "howl" from effloresce stream or order vinyl/CD of effloresce now smarturl.it/eff... Directed by Tom Flynn & Mike Watts connect with covet / covetband / covetband / covettheband
Oh he's an amazing drummer, so much nuance, the dynamics, the choice of orchestration, the application of rudiments to come to solid but unique grooves. Forrest is the real deal.
You need to see them live, all 3 of them get so into the music and I love seeing artists passionate about their craft. These 3 right here, they definitely have it and live, it's just fantastic. I can't put it into words seeing all of them smiling and just having a great time while playing music, I want to reach that level of serenity
this quietly became one of my favorite tracks, shiyuba and falkor kind of grab you, this one sneaks up on you and steals your heart (well, your ears at least)
one of the best last songs when watching live I think it will consume you haha 3:45 these part is absolutely amazing you want to hear it from time to time
Legend has it, Covet never took music lessons, they took math lessons... Anyway I absolutely love this Band and everything they ever did. Also, Yvette is like probably the best f-ing guitar player of all time.
starting riff - intro (7/8), then five bars of 4/4 - 7/8 - 4/4 - 9/8 - 10/8, then bridge with 2 bars of 4/4, then the whole riff with bridge repeats itself one more time, followed by one bar 9/8 break
I saw them yesterday and they've been one of my favorite bands for a while. I gotta admit though, I mostly bought the ticket for periphery... yet I found myself in complete awe after seeing Yvette Forrest and Dave pour their souls into the music!! So surreal!
GOd I love this so much!! I've been hyped for this video since they started showing clips on instagram when they were filming it, and it's way cooler than i expected. I love this band so fuckin much.
i love the music video so much, the colors and the masks and everything is so great it reminds me of little kids roleplaying with toys and trying to make it dark and scary, im not sure why lol. its like a fairytale vibe
I was at sweetwater indiana for gearfest. i was in a terrible, shitty mood. it was extremely bad. so bad that my mind and brain felt clouded. i walked into a theater and saw them playing this live. i didnt know what math rock even was at the time (i was an edm head). i fell in love literally instantly and they cured my mind that day.
Amazingly talented musicians! Their music is a blessing, it is so unique and soul warming! :) Finally got the chance to see them live yesterday in Montreal, it was unbelievable!!! They are incredibly gifted artists and amazing people! And Yvette is so adorable...
I can't imagine beginning to try to cover something by Yvette. I'd feel like I was at day one of picking up a guitar trying to learn the way she finger picks on the fret board while tapping. opens up so many cool runs and jumps otherwise impossible... and it sounds absolutely amazing
Okay, but can we just address how absolutely insane it was that they have Forrest and David's faces as carvings in the fireplace in the shots at the kitchen table?!
IF this band hadn't grown in support, I wouldn't have discovered them in the past few weeks and wouldn't have my new favorite thing. Both things were inevitable, I guess, but it couldn't have happened at a better time. XOXOXO
Who remembers Yvette's original RUclips channel where she jammed alone on her acoustic? So glad she's gotten this far!
she still uploads sometimes
whats the channels name please
when ur that talented, they will find you.
Seriously! So happy for her ❤
the audience needs Yvette to stan Loona
I know we all love Yvette's guitar playing but I just wanted to take a moment appreciate the drumming here. Absolutely excellent!
Oh he's an amazing drummer, so much nuance, the dynamics, the choice of orchestration, the application of rudiments to come to solid but unique grooves. Forrest is the real deal.
First time hearing covet, not dissapointed at all
10/10
I absolutely love the tone of the bass
You need to see them live, all 3 of them get so into the music and I love seeing artists passionate about their craft. These 3 right here, they definitely have it and live, it's just fantastic. i really love the last part part of this song. it's like an overwhelming deep post rock sound.
this quietly became one of my favorite tracks, shiyuba and falkor kind of grab you, this one sneaks up on you and steals your heart (well, your ears at least)
David Koblentz is the steal your heart thing a reference to Howl’s Moving Castle? Lol
It was a tossup between Falkor and Sea Dragon for me for a while but Howl also quietly became my favourite from Effloresce
+ Sea Dragon I'd say
Music can touch your heart no second thoughts my friend
Imagine tripping to her music.
Shout out to Tides of Man and Vasudeva on the Scrabble board!
And memes, don't forget memes!
What are those?
Fuck ya bud
I thought I caught that too.
@@johngroves2876 Two other great bands to check out.

Same. They really have.

Damn, Forest coming in with that 2-for-1 kill, nerf him
Great vid guys!
I saw this band play live tonight. It was an absolutely beautiful experience that I don't think I'll ever forget.
Depth of space, voice of tempo; it's all there.
Thought it was gonna be cheesy but I was harshly proved wrong. Cinematography is on point and those colors are to die for!
its so beautiful...like, i have discovered this band just now, but im already so in love
This has to be one of the best songs they ever wrote and all of them are so good.
i've no idea what is happening here but i fucking love it and i love you and your music
Dude I love how these videos have so much energy and detail and yet with no lyrics you can understand the story trying to be portrayed truly art
2:46 shows just how much fun you were all having during recording. Great song, and the video turned out really well!
The video managed to be as good as the song!
THIS SONG DEFINITELY RESONATES WITH ME MOST ATM CAN'T STOP CRYING WHILE LISTENING TO IT .
This is one of the their best for sure
OMG why am I just now hearing about this band!!!! Holy Shit what a unique sound!!!!!!
They should definitely be way more well known.
Frickin awesome! Rick Beato sent me here.
starting riff - intro (7/8), then five bars of 4/4 - 7/8 - 4/4 - 9/8 - 10/8, then bridge with 2 bars of 4/4, then the whole riff with bridge repeats itself one more time, followed by one bar 9/8 break
The coldest breakdown I've ever known. ❄️
I saw these guys (and girl) live with periphery and they are honestly on of my favourite bands now
I saw them yesterday and they've been one of my favorite bands for a while. I gotta admit though, I mostly bought the ticket for periphery... yet I found myself in complete awe after seeing Yvette Forrest and Dave pour their souls into the music!! So surreal!

I'm so thankful for this band
The phrasing in the intro is so good tho. Whole song, whole record, whole vibe sick 🔥💎 🔥
Great song , great album , great band. This one is one of my favorites from the album for sure
Love this video it's so underrated and underappreciated.
I love how as soon as David dies, he starts “howl”-ing on the bass haha (4:33)
GOd I love this so much!! I've been hyped for this video since they started showing clips on instagram when they were filming it, and it's way cooler than i expected. I love this band so fuckin much.

The intro riff just brings tears into my eyes...
