Awesome that they're incorporating blues, but 2 of the couples were doing a combination of slow Lindy and WCS, and I have never seen a swingout taught or done in blues.
Agreed, although I expected plenty of lindy-inspired moves given that it's the "Ultimate Lindy Hop Showdown", I was sorely disappointed by the almost complete lack of any blues dancing. Time to watch the videos of Mile High Blues instead.
What is the name and artist of this song????? Is it Please Don't Leave Me? Don't Do Me No Wrong? Or a variation on Lucille? Baby Go Home? Can't hear the lyrics.
I probably do more swingouts in blues than I should... if I were a follower, I'd be pissed. :P But I don't know enough blues yet - there are no lessons here. *pouts*
Well the first 2 couples were dancing blues (especially the close embrace parts). On the other hand.. please don't spend your couples "blues" dance doing swingouts..

Impressed I am, but not in the way they were hoping.
SUBLIME!
