You have, by far, one of the most unique playthroughs I've seen on RUclips. Due to your choices, I'm seeing dialogue and scenes I haven't come across before. I don't care about backseating, I'm just along for the ride.
i didn’t intend to be unique but i’m glad it’s turning out that way!! always room for new decisions and outcomes ☺️ having a blast along the way; thanks!
There are lots of rare scenes actually: If Tali doesn't make it in ME:2, Admiral Xen would take her place. In that version she would also kill Legion, minus apologies and drama.
@@scope40k I would personally disagree. I've even asked streamers how they avoid backseat gaming or tips during streams and most of them turn on emoji only mode ( I think? ) in order to prevent spoilers. Also having the same outcomes ISN'T a bad thing.

11:40 Dorn'Hazt mentions telling his son Jonah he made it to the homeworld. In ME2 when taking back the Alerai during Tali's trial, there's a laptop message from Jonah's mom who died on the Alerai.
Well, that's something I've never seen happen in this game. Honestly it's nice to see an organic playthrough like this. You're getting the unique story.
I played Mass Effect 5-6 times but never seen this ending with Legion. This is why I watch others play because I could never make these decisions in my playthrough :D
I don't remember the entire state of the galaxy in your multi-game playthroughs, but damn, I can't believe that you merc'd Legion, Shepard Commander 😰 There's a hidden point system for the side quests you've completed and it takes at least 5 for the "good" outcome, which is easy to get just by having done the side quests in Mass Effect 2. +2 if the Admirals acquitted Tali at her trial in Mass Effect 2 +2 if Shepard destroyed the Geth Heretics during Legion: A House Divided in Mass Effect 2 +1 if Shepard used a Paragon/Renegade option to resolve the confrontation between Legion and Tali in Mass Effect 2 +1 for completing the mission Rannoch: Admiral Koris in Mass Effect 3 +1 for choosing to save Admiral Koris in Mass Effect 3

You absolutely did the right thing if you can't get peace. The geth are guilty of so much that the game just completely ignores. Remember, they made a decision to allow some of them to join the reapers in ME1 where they would have wiped out all advanced life in the galaxy if it weren't for shepard. Not only did the true geth agree to allow them to do this, but they didn't even bother to warn anyone. Compare this to the quarians, who besides a couple admirals, were forced in to the war against their will (as explained by a dying civilian). 99% of the quarians didn't want the war. The vast majority of the geth made the concious decision to support the reapers, directly or indirectly. One of the things you should be able to call legion out on, but you can't because the writers wanted to make the quarians look as bad as possible.
*reads title before watching the video Oh... oh no. She did it, didn't she? Edit: 55:43 you CAN do both, save the Quarians and the Geth but it's difficult and requires extreme planning on the player's part. It's something that comes back all the way to ME1, I can't remember some of the specifics, but in ME1 you have to give Tali the Geth info in her mission, in ME2 you have to obviously save Legion from Cerberus and in Tali's loyalty mission you have to disclose her father's research on the geth to the other quarians WITHOUT getting her kicked out of the fleet (requires a lot of Paragon/Renegade points), rewrite the Geth during Legion's loyalty mission and finally in ME3 you have to: complete the dreadnought mission, complete every Rannoch mission before the priority one and finally, have a fuckton of Paragon/Renegade points to convice the Quarian fleet to stop their attack. Some of it may be wrong, but I'm hopeful someone will correct me
That's not correct. You don't have to disclose Tali's father's research. -Shepard must have at least four bars of Reputation. -Tali and Legion must both be present, which requires an imported save from Mass Effect 2. If no save was imported, Tali will have been exiled and will not be able to support Shepard with an Admiral's authority, while Legion will not appear at all. -The mission Rannoch: Geth Fighter Squadrons must be completed. You need at least "5 point" for peace. +2 points for destroying the Heretic Geth in ME2. +2 points for preventing Tali's exile. +1 point if you make peace between Tali and Legion in ME2 during their fight. +1 point for completing Rannoch: Admiral Koris +1 point for saving Admiral Koris. Without at least 5 points from that list, plus the must have requirements at the top, it's not possible. masseffect.fandom.com/wiki/Priority:_Rannoch
It's so hard for me not to say spoilers if you play another run-through. All I'll say is you could only decide between the two options you had unlocked and it gets difficult to unlock the others.
Believe it or not, that ending with Legion is rare. People usually manage to broker peace between Geth and Quarians, so I imagine a lot of viewers here never even saw that scene.
I’m glad you got these options as sometimes I feel the paragon and renegade choices end up being cop outs, this really makes it feel like the war had meaningful sacrifices
I love the fact that you do honest blind playthroughs. Too many RUclipsrs pretend they are, but they've obviously read guides and miraculously make all the "right" decisions. This is a lot more fun- as is seeing your reactions to suboptimal outcomes. And I had never before seen the dialog with EDI after Legion's death, since I always managed the "happy ending," or my first time, the Really Bad Ending. (The original release before the LE made P/R checks much tougher, and you had to be near-perfect to get those red or blue dialog options)
damnnnnnn that was a rough one giving you only those 2 options at 55:44 😢 on your first play through i never seen that outcome before I remember replaying this moment i instantly regretted it and the only time I allowed myself a do over 😢😂
To your comment why couldnt you save both, you could , Admiral Korris was instrumental in pushing for peace so was taking out the fighters and saving live ships..essentially doing all the side missions on Rannoch before doing the last one. If you did that you could depending on your paragon/renegade points either convince or threaten them to stand down and you end up getting two major fleets instead of 1. I think some stuff from Mass Effect 2 might have also added to this but im pretty sure you could get peace even with just your ME3 choices.
That’s rough Eralia. RIP The Geth. That’s what makes this game so replay-able. There are so many decisions that you can change the next time. In fact, I think I maybe enjoyed my 2nd playthrough more. It’s not until ME3 that you realize you were collecting War Assets in ME1 and ME2 without realizing it, so when you do your 2nd playthrough and you know that, it might change some of your decisions. For me, I also killed the council on my 1st playthrough, but saved them on my 2nd. Not because i care about the council at all, but because I wanted the ship for a war asset. They said the Destiny Ascension was the most powerful ship in the galaxy, so I wanted it for ME3.
You have to have VERY high Paragon or Renegade to make peace between Geth and Quarians. Paragade has almost no chance at doing that. You did everything right except your Paragon/Renegade points weren't high enough. That's the first time we ever saw Tali use the boot knife she's been carrying since ME1.

27:50 ''Let's keep doing other random shit that's not the main shit'' She says while selecting the main shit. I'm not going to lie I was a bit disappointed that your different outcome of Priority: Rannoch was not based on making different choices but based on a lack of attention and/or effort. You skipped over a vital mission which is why additional dialogue choices ware blocked off for you. After you did the first mission you were completely oblivious to the fact that you GAINED a new mission but didn't stop to check what this mission actually was. You were checking your quest log at the start and you saw you had 3 missions that took place on Rannoch but you didn't notice that one of them wasn't available from the start which was Priority: Rannoch. So when it became available you rushed headfirst into the mission without checking if it was actually the main shit you didn't want to do yet. Consider this a genuine question born out of curiosity but does your life as an active duty member of the Air Force force you to have a more rushed way of playing videos games?
At least you chose to save the Quarians. If you choose the Geth, you get this: (spoilers, obviously) ruclips.net/video/ZPVQN-fEQrk/видео.htmlsi=nYv2Pn4WIwIGBx_N
@ yes she could’ve lol. She built up all those points from the first 2 games, allowing the upload because of the paths she’s taken would’ve indeed, given her both.
I think you met all requirements to save both Quarians and Geth. The game has a secret counter that takes into account: - ME2: Keeping Tali from exile in Tali's mission, - ME2: Saving geth units instead of destroying them in Legion's mission - ME2: Breaking the fight between Tali and Legion after that - ME3: Finishing Geth Fighter Squadrons side mission (you skipped it) - ME3: Finishing Admiral Koris's mission - ME3: Saving Admiral Koris If you accumulated enough points for fulfilling these hidden requirements and also have enough Paragon / Renegade, you can persuade both fleets to stop fighting. But it's fun to not having a "perfect" ending once in a while. In my first playthrough I didn't have enough Paragon/Renegade points (and I was about 12 years younger and dumber, lol), so I panicked and decided to side with Geth at the last moment. After that I had to watch Tali jumping of the cliff -- that was traumatizing 😭
This episode really reminds me to the first time i played it, i did it skiping the first Mass effect and o boy let me tell you that it goes to dark places. I think that what i want to say is that you don't have anything to explain i know that you first genocide in this game is shocking, but mostly because i did in one playthrough three.

If you choose the Geth, you get this: (spoilers, obviously)

ну и нормально, роботы же
Saying why couldn’t I do both, when, fact, you could’ve gotten both, but gets sweaty palms, fascinates me lol. Shame
By the time she got to the choice, she couldn't.
@ yes she could’ve lol. She built up all those points from the first 2 games, allowing the upload because of the paths she’s taken would’ve indeed, given her both.
Legion bad ending
That Paragon/Renegade score can really bite you in the butt, eh? Told ya. lol.
😁
You still into Star Citizen? would love to see your reaction to the hour long prologue that was released for Squadron 42 at the last citizen con
I think you met all requirements to save both Quarians and Geth. The game has a secret counter that takes into account:
- ME2: Keeping Tali from exile in Tali's mission,
- ME2: Saving geth units instead of destroying them in Legion's mission
- ME2: Breaking the fight between Tali and Legion after that
- ME3: Finishing Geth Fighter Squadrons side mission (you skipped it)
- ME3: Finishing Admiral Koris's mission
- ME3: Saving Admiral Koris
If you accumulated enough points for fulfilling these hidden requirements and also have enough Paragon / Renegade, you can persuade both fleets to stop fighting.

😉😉😉😉
This episode really reminds me to the first time i played it, i did it skiping the first Mass effect and o boy let me tell you that it goes to dark places. I think that what i want to say is that you don't have anything to explain i know that you first genocide in this game is shocking, but mostly because i did in one playthrough three.
One of my favourite missions. Either way Legion dies. thanks y felice navidad.
Man don't spoil things
Well,that was fun :D
